The best restaurants serving British food in St Ann's Nottingham East Midlands

Been going to Tracey’s for a little while now after I was looking for a traditional cafe in Nottingham and I must say, I’m impressed. The food here comes out in good time and is all made fresh, it is by no means anything fancy but it’s a wholesome environment that does a great breakfast. I will be back.

Been meaning to visit here for a while and it was worth the wait. Quick service great restaurant excellent food. The fish in chilli oil and pineapple rice were delicious

Pudding Pantry is usually a good experience but this time was underwhelming, the pancakes were tough and when we asked if we could have both butter and maple syrup found that they would charge us for the syrup....with pancakes. This wasn't too bad but when they are charging £2.50 for the extra syrup you expect it to come in more than a thimble sized dish. An entire 330ml bottle of Canadian maple syrup only cost 6 quid so for 2.50 you could be less stingy. Butter and maple syrup should just come included when you order pancakes. If you ordered chips you wouldn't pay extra for ketchup and mayonnaise.

Great place with fresh food(fish and chips is a must try !) and friendly service..can't go wrong !

We had the Famous Filthy Kebab - it was excellent! The vegan slices were really tasty and aioli was scrumptious! Service was great and super friendly.

Parker era increíble! Se aseguró de que todos estuviéramos bien considerando que estaba muy ocupado, hicimos brunch sin fondo a las 6 en punto y fue brillante, la comida estaba bien, estaba bien para el precio. Sin embargo, el servicio era brillante y nos dieron múltiples bebidas cuando fue necesario.

I've been here a few times for events now, and I'm sure it's not easy running a bar of any ilk, but surely preparing stock levels pre event is a must. Ran out of most popular drinks. Also, just having the narrow front bar open and not the side is really odd. The floor on the beer garden also needs sorting. A lady tripped on one of the tiles, and my drink was all all over me. This and the bar wait times, I called it a night after 1 pint. I'm a big drinker and CBA with 20-minute bar queues. I know it's a raw place, but these things shouldn't be issues as it has soooo much potential. I will, however, come back to support my friends who play here, in the hope that things change.

Nunca solemos venir a este café, pero los niños tenían hambre mientras compraban y nos detuvimos. Dios mío, qué decisión increíble que tomamos - el servicio al cliente que recibimos, fue increíble. Lian la asistente del gerente y su hermana Kirsty eran increíbles. Ellos realmente cuidaron de mí, mi hermana y mis hijos, fueron generosos, inclusivos y muy considerados. Sinceramente, no puedo agradecerles lo suficiente como para que ya no reciban este tipo de servicio. Si usted está en el centro de Victoria en busca de una cafetería con comida fabulosa, buen servicio al cliente y un ambiente relajante por favor visite la ralladura del café y estoy seguro de que no se decepcionará!

"The Place To Eat" this is certainly not! I have noticed a significant progressive deterioration at this Cafe over the past couple of years! This morning I ordered a Bacon Roll. The lady behind the counter told me that there were no rolls, but I could have bacon on sourdough. I was okay with that, but just take a look at the bacon they served me!! It wasn't properly cooked!! The guy who did the cooking is certainly not a chef of any description! I will never return to The Place To Eat at John Lewis.
