The best restaurants in St Ann's Nottingham East Midlands

I'd heard about Mocky-D for a while but never knew where it was; one couldn't find it by chance, tucked away in this small industrial estate and Google Maps didn't indicate to me that it was real (eg street view didn't show it). Truly a hidden gem. The owners are friendly and passionate about what they do. The food is great; I highly recommend the Philadelphia Cheeze Steak Sandwich (I have only had it once, on my first visit, and would love to have it again). But, I've tried everything on the menu and so far, enjoyed everything. Nice to try the limited edition themed burgers, with well thought out toppings. Liquid Light (Vegan) Brewery in the same Unit 9, right alongside. Hit and miss parking (double yellow lines on most of the road edge) but seems pretty relaxed here.

Gran chocolate , hecho a mano por alguien que es claramente conocedor, dedicado y apasionado por el chocolate! Asistí al taller de frijol a bar hace un par de días con mi hija y tuvimos una experiencia fantástica! Yo no soy vegano, pero me impresionó mucho la calidad del chocolate. Puede ser un poco más caro que la tienda compró chocolate, pero vale la pena pagar el extra por un producto de calidad

Ambos tuvimos la caja de katsu bento más cartas marahia, el servicio es muy bueno y son muy útiles en cualquier pregunta. Recomendaría encarecidamente probar

Decided to have a coffee after a disappointing visit to Hopewells which was empty and old fashioned. Glad we did as the homemade cakes were wonderful. A very welcoming friendly little terrace cafe, the only good thing about the visit.

What a brilliant place to drink. It’s small place but have full package. Wonderful, attentive n active staff happy to serve u on ur table. Beautiful atmosphere. Have indoor n outdoor seating. Small but colourful bar. Superb variety of their own brewery drinks. Enjoyed my time there. Thanks to u guys. Btw all I was missing neon colours. A suggestion for paint colourful benches. Hope visit there again soon

Incredible meal and incredible service. The food absolutely blew me away it was so flavourful and incredible portions. Even if you’ve never tried Ethiopian food before you learn how to eat it and how incredible it is. You can ask whatever questions you want as the manager is lovely. Please, try this place!

Exceptional service from Charlie's on the hill, big thanks to both Charlie and Deborah who supplied the sandwich platters for our dad's wake. They also delivered to the venue which saved us a lot of stress on a difficult day for us. Sandwiches exceeded our expectations being very fresh and plenty of varied fillings which suited vegetarian guests also. Very good value for money, would certainly recommend. Staff very friendly and loads of games to play only problem my self and partner was made to feel unwelcome by other people who have been before and to feel uncomfortable

Tried the nasi lemak, hainanese chicken rice and rendang beef. Dishes were authentic, esp the rendang beef which was so flavorful and tender. The fried chicken was a bit dried and overcooked yet the sambal sauce elevated the whole dish. Didn't recommend the hainanese chicken as it was not too tender.

I booked a table at Pistachio a month in advance for a special Valentine’s Day dinner, only to show up and find the restaurant completely closed. No email, no call, no notification—nothing. It’s incredibly unprofessional and disappointing to leave customers in the dark like this, especially on an occasion when reservations are made well ahead of time. A simple courtesy message would have been the least they could do. Instead, my evening was completely ruined as I had to scramble to find another restaurant last minute. If this is how they treat their customers, I wouldn’t trust them with any future plans. Avoid at all costs!
