Tortilla Nottingham Victoria Centre in Nottingham

It was my first time visiting Nottingham, and I saw the restaurant open quite late. Jack and Tegan were really friendly to explain what was in the food and help me with what I should get due to having an allergy to tree nuts. Both of them were really helpful and made my experience really good. I will come again while I am staying in the UK

They've introduced a self-service kiosk and ditched the human interaction, like McDonald's but without the function of a well-oiled machine.

needless to say, I'm very disappointed with how my order at this place ended tonight. I ordered two burritos to eat with my girlfriend and enjoy a nice lovely meal together, and was met with the most disappointing and terrible service you could imagine. tell me why, when I order a simple large burrito, and a more complex medium burrito with additional toppings and whatnot, and then when I open the food I've been given, all the toppings have been put onto the large burrito, with the medium burrito left barren and tasteless. avoid this place if you're planning on ordering for multiple people, the staff don't know how to manage even the slightest difficult order, simply lazy.

Despite the food being half cold by the time it was delivered (i live far), it was probably the tastiest and best burrito bowl I've ever had! The chips and guacamole were awesome too. #vegan

Had a large chicken burrito with drink and chips from here. Customised good generous fillings and good moneys worth. Staff were friendly and helpful with offering blue light/studen discount. Atmosphere was good and busy, only downfall being bits food on tables that needs wiping Definitely going again!

Pre-theatre food stop 3 weeks ago. Taco Tuesday 241 offer only available now via App. Tacos were light on filling. Looked like they were running out as lots of takeaway delivery orders and were trying to stretch things out. We were eat in but all the tables needed wiping down. Had a better experience at other branches. There is now a Taco Bell round the corner so they need to up their game a bit.

The foods great and the staff are amazingly kind. I was having a hard time and getting overwhelmed/strugling while trying to order and pay and the staff i was talking to imediatly turned the music down, told me to take a break and that theyd wait till i was feeling better enough to continue paying and helped me find a quiet seet to sit at and kept checking i was ok. Spoke to the manager a fue days after to pass on how much it ment

Really hit and miss depending on who is serving, some staff give full effort with food and service, other(s) is a big noticeable drop off, which is mentioned a few times in these reviews. Whereas, the Derbion branch is 5 star every time I go, has been for over a year. I await the obligatory ‘fill out the contact form’ to give the impression these issues are being dealt with despite them being referenced on reviews that are 6+ months old.

Tortilla is my favorite restaurant restaurant to eat at. I don't regularly go out for food, so when I do it's considered a treat. I've had many fantastic experiences at this restaurant, and even left positive reviews in the past. Today I walked into the storearounf 6pm and was met with one of the most awkward interactions I've ever had. We exchanged hellos several times before she rolled her eyes and told me they had nothing left. I said that it was ok and that I could work around that. I received a glare and a huff. My burrito was built with all of the ingredients I wanted it to. She took a huge sigh before rolling my burrito, which I could tell was done to make feel bad for choosing multiple fillings. I asked if I could scan my app and she cut me off telling me to wait. She knew she'd been rude and gave me a Brownie. This was a nice gesture however does not excuse the behavior. I could see the store had likely just finished a busy rush. I myself have worked in hospitality for years on central London. I understand the stress of evening rushes and preparing delivery orders, however my experience today felt very unprofessional and malicious. I'd like to think this girl was just having an off day, however a colleague of mine is one of your most loyal customers (she regularly eats here at least twice a week) of late has complained that a girl has been very rude while serving her. In her words "she looked at me like I'd just kicked her Nan down the stairs." I have a very strong feeling that this is the same person that served me today. My partner and I have shares of tortilla, its our go to date night. I love this brand but I was bitterly disappointed with the service today.

I was served by Kinga and Samira. I couldn't of wished for more polite, well-mannered people. Chef Brendan was very easy on the eyes aswell ;) cutting those onions without a single tear!!

Some of the staff working at Tortilla in Victoria centre need to be reviewed by the management because honestly who picked them? Food can be hit or miss, depends on who is making it. Some staff don’t even listen to what you say and put things in your order that you didn’t even ask for. Girl named “T” looked like she wasn’t being paid to be there, couldn’t even crack the slightest smile at the start of making the order, I genuinely got the feeling like as if I was forcing her to serve me. If you hate your job so much, maybe it’s time to look for another one, I also work in customer service but I don’t have this negative attitude towards people. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but again, put stuff in my order I didn’t want, misheard me 10 times and didn’t bother to scan my loyalty card. On the other hand, this black girl (I didn’t get her name) working there is absolutely lovely! Very nice and friendly, always gets the order right and gets the proportions of food right.

The food was amazing but the most impressive was the customer service I received from Stiliyana, she was helpful and provided me with an amazing service.

First time visiting and had no idea what to get but the two girls at the counter,Hanna and Tegan was so helpful at helping me and my girlfriends choose what to get and made us amazing meal. Can’t wait to come back

Absolutely amazing! My bf and my card kept getting unauthorised for no reason and we have enough money and different banks, the staff was really nice and friendly and put it in as a sample🥹 the beef smash burrito was amazing as well

came here 17 september around 7pm ordered a large burrito ended up vomiting when i got home, i don’t know what they put in my burrito by something isn’t right

The chicken was inedible. It was slimy and undercooked.

If someone told me this is what the vegan chilli no con carne looked like I wouldn’t have eaten it. It looks like gloop I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog why is it so watery isn’t it meant to be a salad? Then I looked up pics of it on the internet and it looked nothing like this made me feel sick

My favourite Tortilla store on Clumber Street has closed, but it’s great so see that familiar faces have been transferred to the Victoria Centre. Gemma makes a fabulous burrito!

Price goes up, size goes down. Pay for extra, recieve less than you’d expect for a regular. Paid £15 for a burrito which is basically just a rice wrap and barely includes anything, never mind the fact I paid £2.50 on top for extra chicken and extra £1.50 for chorizo. You’d expect £15 would include enough ingredients to make a burrito I also note that their 5* reviews come from accounts which have only reviewed 1 place

We came on Thursday 25th July around 5.30pm and were served by a male and female members of staff. Both were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming. We eat here quite frequently so we thought we should give feedback as the service was even better than usual.

as always had a great experience at tortilla, was served by the best employee called Julia who definitely needs to get a promotion. she is always there serving with a smile, and so lovely. I come in everyday just to see her. However, didn’t experience the same customer service with the new manager, she was rushing my order and didn’t quite give me the same service, felt like it wasn’t the same.

Went out of my way to stop here for decent Mexican food, got there 30 minutes before they closed and all the food was still out but the staff clearly couldn't be bothered and told me I could only have salsa. Don't list your hours as being open until 9pm if you stop serving food at 8:30pm. Annoying!

I used to go to Tortilla Clumber St. as I was in Victoria centre, thought of eating in here, but realised that was a mistake 🙂 I ordered naked burrito and IT WAS NOT UPTO THE LEVEL THAT IT SHOULD BE due to POOR STAFF SERVICE! Personally staffs weren’t in good and pleasant attitude! They weren’t ready to stock up the food items and when I asked for corns to top up on my burrito she just scraped the vessel to serve them and did not STOCK UP! She literally gave me 2-3 corns on my burrito bowl!!!! Upon seeing her behaviour I understood that she is clocking out!

It was my first time trying tortilla and I was served by Cherril and she was so lovely and helpful!

Cheryl and Samira took my order, both of them were absolutely amazing, even if Cheryl tried to sell me a frozen margarita at 6:30 LOL. Jokes aside, they foster an amazing environment at this restaurant, are crystal clear with what they offer and have definitely gotten themselves a repeat customer! Brilliant service and lovely people.

The entire staff was very cheerful and helping. As a first timer they made me feel very welcome. I would like to specially mention Chloe who was greeting everyone coming in with a very warm smile! ❤️

I have always loved Mexican Food. Tortilla is the best chain on the Market and the Vic Centre store has never done me wrong. Music is the right volume, food is consistently great and the staff all have a great attitude. Big shout out to Ray, who is especially personable and provided a lovely and friendly service 💌

Cheryl was amazing whilst serving me and my wife, she was extremely patient with us. I loved the attitude she has towards her work. It clear to see she takes pride in her work. Cheryl was fantastic, great service. The same can not be said about one of her colleagues who rolled her eyes and walked away from serving us, forcing a second server to take over. The problem was that she mumbled her questions and could not be heard by anyone on our side of the counter, she also spoke really fast even after we had explained that it was our first time there. Stinking attitude. Cheryl was great though.
