Luisa's Vegan Chocolates in Nottingham

I was visiting Nottingham and had to pop by this chocolatier! Luisa was very friendly and told us about her trips to South America to source the beans. A diverse variety of flavours can be found, and we were treated to several samples of them. I treated myself to a couple of bars, some truffles and an ice cream…all heavenly 🤤

The best chocolates in Nottingham? No, try the UK. The only bean to bar real chocolatier in the country. Fabulous flavours and guaranteed no after taste as this is as pure as chocolate can get. The owner (who the shop is named after) is one of the Crown Jewels of Nottingham and it’s worth going in just to have a chat with her as there isn’t much she doesn’t know about chocolate. Responsibly sourced and she has travelled around the World to meet the growers and suppliers herself. Chosen by Selfridges to supply them her famous vegan chocolates. They obviously know a good product when they see it. If you are ever in Nottingham make sure you visit and buy some chocolates

What a special place. Almost as we entered Luisa appeared to welcome us, and share her infectious passion for fine chocolate. We sampled her hazelnut, cashew nut, orange and rose bars. We like to think we have eaten good chocolate in the past and we’re blown away by the quality of this vegan chocolate. It is quite simply some of the best chocolate we have eaten, which is astounding as it is vegan too. We made purchases of all we tried, and we will be back as it is now firmly on our gifts to give list as well.

Not long after we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Luisa, who took us through the history of her business and offered us to try various flavours based upon recommendations. As the shop is based in the same building where the products are produced, you smell delicate notes of cacao as soon as you step in. Luisas vegan chocolates have reinstated my faith that vegan chocolate can be creamy and full of flavour, nothing like the low-end high-cost vegan chocolate sold at your main stores. Incredibly happy to have found this! This business truly cares about making a fair trade with their cocoa farmers, and delicious chocolate! Thank you!

Luisa is just so friendly when I visit and helps me choose products. The chocolate is so tasty, has changed my taste for chocolate.. now I just want quality taste all the time! I attended a chocolate tasting workshop online and what an eye opener that was. Great tasting too.

We love this little place, the truffles are incredible, the bars are so delicious and Luisa is wonderful, she is always keen to introduce us to her newest products and her enthusiasm is infectious. A must visit for chocolate lovers.

I came across Luisas vegan chocolates at Sneinton Market on #nottinghamlightnight. I bought a bar after a taste test. It tastes so good. I had a little taste and saving the rest to savour it. Its so good to find an independent retailer who makes the chocolate in store that is also dairy free. Luisa was really friendly and educated us about her product. It's great to find delicious dairy free chocolate for my daughter who has cows milk protein allergy. I will definitely be buying more from Luisa.

No other chocolate, comes close. Best in the business. Will definitely be back, again and again. Lovely people, their passion and love for their craft is heart warming.

the white and milk chocolate is out of this world. The passion and knowledge from both was amazing and it was a genuine childlike joy trying the different chocolate. We will definitely be back!

Love Luisa's chocolates and the retail/production space is fascinating. The range of flavours are just heavenly. The fact that Luisa has direct personal contact with her producers is really important to me as a customer. Small scale relationships produce benefits for the cacao producers - and the customer knows they are buying a truly ethical product.

Fantastic casholate and turmeric vegan chocolate. Staff very friendly. You can try before you buy so that’s handy. Loads of other types of chocolate too.

We just happened to be walking past and the smell drew us in. We meet Luisa herself and she told us the story how their chocolate is from bean to bar and all made on site. We got to try lots of flavours, all were delicious and all vegan. You must go if you are in town.

No other dairy free chocolate I’ve had compares to Luisia’s! If you didn’t know it was dairy free, you’d be hard pressed to tell. So much choice, beautiful shop and wonderful customer service. The work that they are doing with their cocoa farmers is incredible. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Nottingham!
