Dining at our village pub gets better and better - there’s always a warm welcome and Sunday lunch is a favourite when the family gets together. My roast beef was beautifully cooked, the vegetables were spot on, with Yorkshires and roast potatoes that went down a treat … with plenty of gravy (important for my lot!). Our thanks to Ellie and her friendly team.

Food excellent and at reasonable prices can be a little noisy at times as it is popular with families

Had a lovely lunch, food was great although I felt that the childs Piza was exspensive as it was just 3 pieces of pizza and was £10 and £6 for his pudding. Drinks were also expensive. However tge Italian brunch was £15 per head and very nice although desert was an additional £8 if you didn't like tiramasu

It has been many months since i visited this pub with my wife and relatives and it has taken sometime to get over what could be the worst dining experience in my life. We chose the al la carte menu, minimum of four people, to get to the point the food was horrible, absolutely disgusting and a pathetic amateur attempt at providing a prestige service. I did take this up with the manager, after a very heated discussion when he failed to accept the blame, he went on the defensive and eventually tried to manipulate the situation to his advantage by accusing me of making threats against him. The Olde Coach House has never been a great pub and even after a refurb it still looks and feels dank, I felt sorry for my mother in law and her sister who paid the £180 bill, they were robbed, we all were.
