The service from start to finish was fantastic and the food tasted fresh and it left us with a nice warm full feeling, keep up the great work everyone

Really lovely food, the jerk chicken sauce was lush, massive credit to Ashleigh our waitress who went above and beyond to accommodate the dietary preferences of a child and gave us excellent service. Also huge thanks to the chefs Jez and Terry, sweating it out in a kitchen is hard work on a busy Saturday but the meals looked and tasted beautiful. Thank you guys

Just had the Cluckin Mac cheese stack and it was amazing! Honestly, amazing! We were served by Susan who was lovely and the amazing clucking stack meal was cooked to perfection by Jess!!.. very grateful and a genuine honest review!

This was our 2nd visit within 6 days and I'm sorry to say we were both disappointed again tonight. The order came quite quickly after placing our order at our table, so we was expecting our food to be hot, but both meals were barely warm and didn't look very appertizing. It's such a shame as it's a great place with some lovely staff.

If you are looking for Filthy and disgusting place - You found it. Seats, carpets, tables.. Dirty! Utensils - the cheapest they could find in second hand market sale. Food.. 🤢 See for yourself. NEW burgers! New Yorker and some other one. Ordered both 13.49 yeach. £26 pounds total For two plates of chips, a bun with 1 chicken breast and a letuce leaf (video) and how can you even call a chicken breast with damn pasta between two toasts - A BURGER(picture) And the way they serve full english - is an embarrassment! Worst experience you can have in Rugby

Service was to quick, 3 meals steak, mixed grill and scampi should not be served within 5 minutes of ordering at the bar, I do believe this was preheated being a cook myself I know that a mixed grill and scampi with that being fish takes longer than 5 minutes to took, my advice you do investigation into your kitchen staff before customers come down with food poisoning, my guest that was with me had the scampi and was sick (NOT GOOD)

Great pub, usual Hungry Horse menu, good quality food and great value. Staff were all lovely as always. Information ref allergies for my granddaughter was readily available.

We had breakfast there, cooked to perfection by Jeremy, served quickly and efficiently by Jason and Pet. Overall, a great meal at a great price

Were in Rugby fancied lunch so popped in the Steam Turbine had a lovely toasted cheese and ham toastie and a cappuccino which you get a mug and help yourself to as many refills that you want good parking and friendly staff

Good quality food, lots of choice and not over Booked a table for three grown ups . Was guided to our table by the manager. Chose our food and paid at the bar. Ordered drinks. The food arrived exactly as described and was most enjoyable. Ordered two Candymanias and these are always welcome. Enjoyed the occasion and left a tip at the bar. .

Second visit 30/12/24 Staff all seemed stressed and miserable. All very standard...... Generic pub cuisine menu with a huge variety, very reasonable prices, daily deals and offers.

Christmas dinner was nice however not as nice as previous years. Felt they cheaped out on some items. And of course no big plate special.

We came for breakfast with Santa, we didn’t think there was enough food for one of my son’s 3 waffles and a few strawberries. The Santa that was there was a lady, she did come over to us and spoke to us but she went on about how she was in a school and it’s going to be busy this week coming. I’m not being rude but I don’t care I wanted a Santa experience and we didn’t get that

First visit, normally the royal horse, food was good, one steak was overcooked, but was re done, with no issues, and the staff were very happy and helpful.

6 of us went for meals 2 of us had burgers which were cremated other than that the meals were ok, dessert menu is a bit limited, good choice of drinks and staff are friendly enough and the pub has a good atmosphere.

Stopped here on the way home Saturday 9th November, around 6:30pm. Hadn’t booked, tho getting a table wasn’t a problem. Told us there’s over half hour wait for food, however our food arrived sub 20 minutes. Very good portions and cooked perfectly. Best Hungry Horse we have visited. Thank you.

Kieran, is an exceptional waiter. He is always very hospitable and very friendly. He ensures his customers are well looked after during dining.

A classic pub grub experience! We arrived and parked in the car park provided. It had a gate but we couldn't see clearly what time it closed. We were going to the cinema afterwards, so in the end we drove round to the cinema car park after the meal to avoid getting trapped. They quickly took us to our seats. It was warm and clean and Christmassy! We chose our food and went up to order (no table service). I flipping love lasagne, but they were our of lasagne, so in the end I had their sizzler. The food came without cutlery. We were told we had to get our own. I got knives and forks but couldn't find the spoons. I asked, and they said there weren't spoons. Mains don't come with cutlery, but pudding comes with spoons. Right. Sure. Overall the food was great. Good chips, good chicken, good sauce. My wife loved her curry. No naan bread, but I suppose it is only a pub! My corn-on-the-cob was dreadful - It was soggy like it had been boiled - but everything else was lovely! Pudding was nice too, as were the drinks! We spent around £45 for 2 of us, but used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to cover £35 of it, so overall it was a cheap but good experience! I'd definitely recommend coming here. It's not Michelin star or anything, but it's nice! Friendly staff, nice decor, family environment, good menu choice, a classic British cheap pub-grub experience.

Very good food and the staff are very friendly

Disappointing visit. Food was cold and item missed from one plate. Ordered dessert which was all frozen - stated on the menu that the custard element of the trifle baked Alaska was frozen …. Which was fine but the whole dessert came frozen … and I couldn’t even push my spoon through it. When I complained I was told it should all be frozen and that staff are told my head office how to cook meals and the instructions for this dessert were to serve frozen. I cannot believe that anyone would enjoy eating frozen sponge, raspberry sauce and meringue …. I requested a refund. Average food …won’t be rushing back. Also put ice cubes in a milkshake !

The parking is easy and the place is clean with a good atmosphere but oh dear the food I had was a full English. Blackened bacon, rock hard sausage and nearly toasted toast. I did return the sausage which came back in another dish. It had been microwaved to within a inch of it life and the hard bits removed. I did mention it to another waitress who smiled and said sorry. This was one of my good places to eat but no more. My wife's scampi was ok though.

I took my daughter and son in law for lunch. They both had burgers, and i had roast beef. The man taking the order was quite funny, and he asked(?)if anyone had any allergies. Incongruously when the food arrived, my daughters plate had scampi on it! Maybe knowing the kitchen as he did, putting strange things on meals, thats why he asked if there were any allegies! My beef was really tough, but i ate what i could, having paid for it. Sorry, will not be going back again

Food was not great ordered salmon sizzler it was frozen and just sloppy mush. Its cheap and cheerful for a beer but wouldn't eat there again.

Always great food & friendly service

The menu offers a wide range of choices, ensuring there's something for everyone. The deals available are great and really make it affordable for families or groups. On top of that, the service was incredibly quick, so we didn't have to wait long to enjoy our meal. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for good food, good value, and fast service.

I love my food

Had a mega breakfast today. The food was good, but the eggs came with a fair bit of grease. The pub itself is quite nice with a good range on the menu and at the bar, with a limited range of craft beers too. Could do with a bottomless coffee option with the breakfast like many of the other pubs offer, but that's a Green King issue rather than locally. Caters for children in the beer garden and also has an 18+ area for those of us who like to have a meal/drink without little ones running around. Big positive - well done. Overall, the environment is welcoming, but there are signs of age/wear and tear with the decorating, but to be expected, I guess. The walls need a bit of paint reapplying and would look great again. Food 4.5/5 Environment 3/5 Staff 5/5 Prices 4.5/5

We were served by Di, she was a delight to be around. Always happy and friendly. And always goes out of her way to make sure you get want.

It's pretty average for a Hungry Horse. The food was ok, and the service was ok, however the kitchen is pretty slow, and your orders will take a while to come.

Sorry to say but I took my friend daughter here for lunch today. We ordered via the app cheesy garlic ciabatta for starter what we got was cheesy garlic bread and took 30 mins from placing order on the app. Next was our main we had the same meal so both ordered Chicken New Yorker from the super specials. It was disgusting, chicken was burnt, coleslaw tasted of earth, chips god knows what they did to them but there was no potato in looked like been cooked 3 times and chicken didn’t taste right, texture was off. The whole meal was cold. When bought to staff attention after looking for them she said the chicken was cooked and it was burnt where caught the grill, she asked if wanted redoing but due to the wait we had, how the first meal came out we had our money back for the mains. She did apologise but to little to late. Whilst we sat having our drinks before leaving a family complained of the times food was taking to come out and another lady sent her food back, when they left she had hardly ate the 2nd attempt of the meal I’m frustrated as we have had food here before and was really good.

Me and my Dad came for breakfast today. Food was very good. Portion size was brilliant and the staff were brilliant. Food quality is good and hot. The staff are friendly too :) checking to make sure you're happy with the food, particularly a lady called Petra! Cappuccino was excellent.

Loved the Lamb Kofta, it was a good portion size.

Good food, very reasonably priced & always get a good service here. One of the best Hungry Horse pubs we've been to. Di was especially helpful on our last visit, explaining changes to the menu & use of Tesco Clubcard vouchers, which we really appreciated

Food very good and very quick service

Took the family out for a treat. It was a fairly busy evening and kids eat for £1 which we didn't realise, but it was a bonus. The food took a while but we did have a group of 5 with all different stuff including a mixed grill, the staff were really lovely and worked really hard to keep people happy. I have to say I was really impressed with the food and the service here. Everyone left happy and had a full belly and nobody complaining, with 4 picky eaters that is a win for me and it all came under £100 with desserts as well which includes 2 of those ridiculous sharer ice cream sundaes ( both the boys didn't get the memo about sharing so little sister had to get a dessert of her own 😂) Great fun had by all though. We will be returning soon. Super family dinner.

Really great place with really nice food for everyone. The staff really nice and helpful. If you have the green king app you can reserve your table and order food and drink without getting up to the bar just give the app your table number. If you not an app person still fine to order at the bar. 😉👌🏻 there is an outdoor play area and tables outside for the nicer days. Plenty of parking on site and wheel chair access. Highly recommend this place. Will always go back!!

Great food, service was great and they brought out all of the children's meals first which is always a winner! Good value for money!

So my whole table ordered starters and mains. I just ordered a bacon and cheeseburger + Dr pepper zero. Drink arrived fast, then 40 mins later still no food, everyone else had everything. We raised it and they eventually got it to me, with a vague explanation of confusion being caused by everyone having starters, no actual sorry for the wait.

No clue on the place really. Marked down as it didn't offered what it said. Went because we were close and it said shows sports but alas, it doesn't. Looked like it was doing well for Sunday dinners though. Gave 3 stars service as the chap at front of house tried to offer somewhere else.

We stopped on our way from visiting family. We have been to the Steam Turbine a number of times, but today it wasn't such a good experience. The chips were not cooked inside, neither were the fries. The service was quick but maybe a bit more cooking time of the chips would be good. Thanks
