Very Good Food at reasonable price. Ample servings. Try the Pies wit Gravy. Very delicious I will definitely be back again in the future.

Foods ok but apparently it's not open to the public anymore as the staff such as Elle were made redundant. Also when ever I call no one ever answers the phone 01788 535115 is the number but pointless calling....pretty crap around ...

I love going here. The food is freshly cooked, with lots of it. The menu is good and so are the prices. Plenty of parking and the restaurant seats a good number of people at a time. It is mostly a Truckers stop, but my family enjoy going there and you are made to feel welcome regardless of whether you a driving a Scania with a 40' trailer loaded with toilet roll or a Vauxhall Astra. Check it out. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Called by with a few friends last Wednesday, with slight trepidation given some of the previous reviews but we were not at all disappointed. All hot food was cooked to order, nicely presented and brought (with cutlery) to your table nice and hot. Portions were generous, as truck drivers no doubt expect. The menu range seemed reasonable (and cheap!) but more options were offered at the till (extra cheese or onion with the burger, for example). Loos clean, tidy and smell-free too. beats any services on the motorway, will definitely call again soon.

After 40 years on the road finally had a meal that was literally unfit for consumption, stobard should be fined for charging for this garbage I wouldn’t even feed it to a starving dog for fear of being bitten by the poor thing. I will never eat here again.

I had Steak pie which was truly shocking could not even cut it with knife, powdered mash in a watery tasteless gravy, then shower, absolutely filthy, mentioned this when handing back shower key barely got a sorry. Asked for manager but not available, no wonder no one wants to drive a truck for a living we are treated as second class citizens. Not cheap they will take your money but offer very poor service and standards

Parked overnight on Sunday 3rd May. Wasn't sure whether food was being served as many truckstops had parking but no food; fortunately the cafe was serving takeaways. The takeaway was okay, not brilliant, but it was hot and edible, just a little restricted. At least it was a hot meal and much appreciated. Toilets, wash basins and shower rooms were very clean which was an achievement considering there were best part of 200 trucks parked up, mostly foreign drivers. Felt I had to write a review as appreciation for providing for us drivers at a time when many places have closed. I will add that under normal circumstances excellent meals have always been served and at reasonable prices. Clean and tidy facilities, that's all we ask for and that's what's provided.

We've used this cafe many times now. The food is hot (always a bonus!), the service is great and the staff are really helpful. Took my severely learning disabled son there and they made it really easy for us by bringing his food up without a wait. He doesn't tolerate sitting and waiting! Highly recommended.

If your idea of a truck stop is a little greasy spoon with a couple of chaps in high vis tabards, then you’re in for a pleasant surprise. Incorporated into the Eddie Stobart depot this is nonetheless open to anyone and serves good quality hot food at excellent prices. Hot drinks are cheap and refills are available at no extra cost. There’s a shop, very clean toilets and even showers if you’re a trucker. Driven past many times and thought it was only available to the HGV community but now that we know it isn’t, we will be back

Have stopped here for a drink on a few occasions but decided to have lunch on this visit. My partner had half chicken with salad. The salad filled half the large plate and there was coleslaw too. I opted for the southern fried chicken, which was two sizeable coated chicken breasts, and I chose beans and fries to go with the chicken. The portion size was very big. Both meals tasted great and we polished off the lot. Washed down with two unlimited teas, the total price was less than £15. Great value and we're already planning when we can go back for another meal. Oh, and the staff were really great too!

Regrettably, the Truck Stop missed out on their usual 5 stars. The service and value are still excellent, but they didn't have mushrooms, and the beans like the tomatoes were only lukewarm. On top of that, there was a much longer wait than usual making this breakfast only average.

A fantastic stop. This time we were in time for lunch. We both ordered roast chicken that was served in good time. We both had half a chicken each, heaps of excellent roast potatoes, huge quantities of different vegetables plus stuffing and very tasty gravy. All this for less than £7. Fantastic value and the table was spotless and the floor well swept.

I was in the area. Would it still be possible I thought, to buy a classic trucker's breakfast? No pretensions, just a large well cooked basic breakfast, served on a big plate with helpful friendly staff. Unlimited refills of palatable tea & coffee would be a bonus. Well, it is possible, at least here, at this truckstop. Fir whst it is, as good as it gets. Oh & the coffee machines are brilliant. Fresh ground before your eyes. Bargain.

I have not been into this place for some years, it used to be a busy bustling place full of drivers from every corner of the world, and the staff were clean, attentive and polite. Today I was passing with a client and decided to go In for something to eat . On arriving it was like a trip down memory lane, looking pretty much as it did all those years ago, however that’s when I started to see that it is nothing like it used to be. The staff were all huddled around the servery talking and joking and none of them really seemed phased by the queue of people ready to order , once they did notice, a young girl who seemed very good asked what we would like, at this point she told us there had been an electrical fault and the till wouldn’t open and she didn’t know what to do , so while she summoned up several other staff members who also had no idea, we sat down. The table was sticky and covered in food from the last guest , yet the staff still stood around talking and joking. We ordered a large breakfast and roast of the day, which took about 15 minute to arrive, there was no clean forks so I had to eat with a spoon . The breakfast included mushrooms, sausage, and potatoes all of which had been cooked in the fryer , beans and tomatoes , And undercooked bacon. The roast was the real problem, the beef was dry and curling up at the edges, the gravy was so thick it could be sliced and the green vegetables were so over cooked they were grey , along with mash potatoes that were instant and cold. I have literally never seen peas that had as little green colour as these! I felt sorry for the drivers that must be forced to eat this filth , after days on the road they need a decent meal. I’m convinced these people think because they have a captive audience of drivers who have to stop there overnight, that they don’t have to serve anything that anyone cares about , it’s pretty disgusting and to be honest just unacceptable in the modern world. This place could be the goldmine it once was and could regain its reputation as a good place quite easily if there was a manager who really sorted the people out that work there. We left having eaten very little ...... what a shame

If "Traditional English truckstop" sounds like a contradiction in terms, it possibly is, for the Stobart truckstop - which is advertised outside as NT Services is a rare beast. It's an updated version of the old "transport caff", located a couple of miles off the M1 jn 18, on A5 (towards Hinckley). Although most of the site is given over to a huge lorry park and regional deport for Eddie Stobart (it gets its share of truck spotters, too), there's parking at the front (and an overflow at the rear) for private motorists and it says quite clearly that families are welcome.

We did not fancy cooking breakfast for thirteen, therefore, decided to treat everyone at the Eddie Stobart Truckstop on the Watling Road, Rugby. Twelve full English with personal variations and a scrambled egg on toast. Unbelievably all meals were delivered to the extended table within 12 minutes. The food was excellent in every respect and plentiful. My guests really did not expect the size and cleanliness of the restaurant eating area and were impressed with the whole experience. What is more, our waitress did not stop smiling.......love it when a plan works.

Yes I agree with many previous reviews. Food is pretty good but never going to win a Michelin star and the showers are ok. Would expect a place of this size to have BT sport to show champions league football. About 7 or 8 drivers congregated to watch only to be told no. Red Lion not far from here and they have happy hour when football is on. Know where I will be next time.

For the money not bad but it is very much a truck stop cafe. Good selection of food though, chips are pretty nasty!! Chilli con carne was fine, and most of the other food coming out of the kitchen looked good to. Very nice chocolate sponge with delicious custard! I wouldn't recommend it for a night out with the wife, but for a quick meal at reasonable prices it's pretty good and very clean.

I've been eating here for over 15 years (it was formerly a BP Truck Stop). It's great value, the menu's varied and they're good at what they do. OK, it's not haute cuisine and you're never going to find the quality you'd find in French truck stops, but for a clean, efficient place to stop en route for good food, you can't fail. And you get to mingle with the truckers, 10:4. Kids love it as it's different and there are two TV's to watch as well. There's also a shop and a proper bar, but you can only drink if you're parked up over night and can produce a parking voucher. The only negative is that it closes at 9pm on Fridays, 2pm on Saturdays and 8pm on Sundays and 9pm Mondays, however, the rest of the time it's open 24 hours.

Go to this truckstop every time i go up north. It's a very short distance from the M1 J18, and easy to get back on the M1 at J19. Well worth coming off the motorway for. 2 breakfasts and 2 teas at a motorway services you are looking at well over 20 quid, for pre cooked rubbish. At this truckstop, we had 2 breakfasts, freshly cooked, and 2 hot drinks with free refills and got change from a tenner. The breakfast is always very nice, with the best fried bread I've ever had. Having read the other review I did start to wonder if it was the same place. We have stopped here twice recently. On both occasions the food was freshly cooked, and not swimming in grease, and delivered to our table. The base breakfast (a Wunner – one egg, one bacon, one sausage, baked beans, one hash brown and a slice of toast) is a mere £2.50 and a cup of tea £1.10. The staff, who were quite young, were both polite and helpful, and the café clean with tables being cleared quickly. The only reason I have not awarded five stars is that yet again a breakfast was let down by the sausage although I have been served far worse.

I use a lot of roadside eateries, mainly due to business travel but also as part of my motorcycling past-times. 'Truckstops' are usually a safe bet where you can be sure of a bit of friendly smile (even a bit of banter), generous portions and reasonable prices.During my one-and-only visit to this place, they managed (just) to get one out of three; the portion was quite good in size, however, in reality it just meant that much more was left on the plate uneaten, untouched. The service was slow, the staff seem very 'young and untrained' (I'm guessing 'cheap' and/or 'low paid') and the quality of the food served was poor. Chips that were not cooked enough, dishes that were advertised as 'Special Deal' but actually weren't even available, vegetables that were so clearly of the poorest, cheapest version of the frozen, tasteless variety that the whole meal was just bordering on unpalatable. It certainly chased away my hunger but not in the way I'd have expected ...........I've been to many of the offerings up and down the UK road network; this one is right down there with the very worst, maybe even THE worst! For me it's a clear case of "Avoid, avoid avoid!!".

We had a lively evening with some hilarious banter with barperson/waitress Sianne. Steak and red wine meal deals good value and a pleasure to find a pub that didnt serve the dreaded Doombar. In Siannes words 'no self respecting pub should have Doombar'. Thoroughly recommended

Sadly this was a big disappointment, the restaurant reminded me of an elderly home with so many older folk, the food at best was average, also items such as Tarter sauce which you would expect to be part of the fish and chips meal is an extra, really? Also the desserts are really pricey, not somewhere I would recommend
