Mill House tea rooms all ready have a large following on face book. New to the Castle but didn't disappoint, the attention to detail and service was very good. Beautiful music by a local gentleman added to the ambiance which was lovely , and provided on the day we went. Really impressed with the tea, sandwiches and huge variety of cakes! You will not be disappointed.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. I've been back three times, and I've been impressed every time. Generous portions, quality food, inexpensive, friendly staff, efficient service, nice atmosphere, the novelty of the eating challenges. A real hidden gem. 10/10 in every regard.

Really enjoyed our lunch here - a little bit out of the town centre but seems very popular and the food was good. The cafe was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

My wife and I visited the Club for Sunday Lunch on 06th June 2021. We were very impressed with the hearty welcome of the staff and the way we were treated in general. After reviewing the comprehensive Luncheon Menu I had the traditional Roast Beef and Y/Pudding and my wife had the Steak and Ale Pie. The meals were very good and presented as well as any first class Restaurant. All the ingredients were cooked perfectly to our liking. The drinks we ordered were very reasonably priced,as was the menu meals and deserts. will be visiting again for sure very soon. We were so full and satisfied we could not handle dessert. Had a late lunch. 16.30pm reservation online, easily booked and plenty of parking. Upon arrival we entered our registration into their system which would allow us to be parked outside for three hours for free. Our server Rebecca was polite, quick and attentive despite having several tables. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot, fresh and tasty. Dessert was amazing and the perfect ending to the meal. 10/10 Will be going back!

My Aunt and I were looking for somewhere to stay while we visited my uncle (her brother) during summer 2024 and, after I did a search on the internet, I found this place. It looked like a good place from their website but we'd never been before. We stayed 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis and dined there on an evening. We were very impressed with the location, the building, the staff and the food and drink. The parking was somewhat limited (some parking spaces onsite with additional parking across the road), and the accommodation is accessed up a bit of a steep staircase but those are the only two things I would mention, not as a complaint but in case there are people looking to visit who might have issues with stairs, etc. They are also dog friendly, so I've put it on my maybe list if I'm ever this way again with my dog but would definitely book again in the future if I'm ever in need of accommodation in this area again.

Great service from Rebecca who anticipated our needs before we did. She is a credit to the company. The food was great value for money acne came very quickly.

This was our first visit and will definitely not be the last. A warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in is always a good sign and that's what we got. We were a large table of 6 adults and 2 children and were given a table in a secluded nook which was great and much appreciated. We all ordered different dishes and they were all first rate. Our meals included traditional fish and chips, sizzling fajitas and steak. Each dish was well presented and tasted amazing. The portion size was plentiful.

Lovely pub where all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Just had fish and chips here tonight and it was amazing. We will definitely eat here again.

Poor customer service, extremely rude and lazy. I recognised one of the younger member of staff from her severely bullying my niece not too long ago. Called and let them know of this situation for their own sake, and the manager was rude and said there was nothing they could do.

The best Sunday lunch in the area, if not country! Julie, Neil and their team looked after us and made us very welcome. Thank you very much for an enjoyable visit. We will be back soon!

Awful customer service. Would never visit again . Still waiting for a response from a complaint that I sent over four weeks ago .

Excellent service, food and cocktails. The grilled chicken with cheesy, mushroom sauce, salad and chips was excellent, juicy meat, thoroughly enjoyed. I had 4 different cocktails and there was live music too, also was brilliant. All staff were very friendly and service was A1, it was a great atmosphere and lovely seating with outside area too. Definitely worth it, especially with the £35 deal of 4 cocktails and a meal. Thankyou :-)
