Great value and quality food. Rebecca was as attentive and efficient as she has always been for the last 16yrs. Maybe the surroundings are getting a bit tired and do require an update.

Seated quickly and served by the lovely Rachael. She was bubbly. Smiley and generally friendly. The night was busy, however she paid attention to all the customers well. We appreciate you Rachael.

Lovely food. Reasonably priced. Excellent service by Rebecca. I do think that the seats need to be replaced, they are fixed with duck tape, however this doesn’t take away from the friendly, clean place. Come on you people at the top, give Oakley Hay a makeover, they deserve it!

We had a wonderful family meal . Eliza our hostess was absolutely wonderful. The service was amazing and Eliza was super efficient , friendly and attentive. Eliza sorted our birthday cake and brought it to the table. She helped us have a wonderful evening. 🥳

great experience in this restaurant, booked the meal deal with premier inn, was dubious as had a bad experience in previous premier inn restaurant, but this one was amazing, Amy (think that was her name) our waitress was friendly and welcoming, we ordered our food and it came out in good time, and it actually looked appetizing, we ordered starters and a main meal, the mixed grill was amazing, every single bit of food on the plate was hot and was a good size portion, breakfast was the same, friendly waiter who was very efficient, he couldnt do enough for us, breakfast was the same came out in good time, and was hot, would recommend this place to dine in, thank you beefeater for excellent service, we will be back

We arrived as a family for a pre-booked Father’s Day breakfast, we were welcomed by James and shown to our table. Our breakfast order was taken and bread and cups came almost immediately. Food was served and was hot and tasty. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Beefeater breakfast experience and will definitely come back. Staff were exceptional and made us relaxed and welcome.

Fantastic.Simple as that. We visited as a family group of 5 adults on our way to Wales and had booked a table….. oddly enough at 0930 on a Monday, it turns out we hadn’t needed to, but hey. Led to our lovely big table and served by the very nice Danielle, who was pretty much perfect and exactly what you want as a waitress. Polite, fun, the right amount of banter in response to our rowdy bunch. The food itself was actually better than I was expecting. Usually the ‘all you can eat’ type places are all the cheapest stuff, but this was genuinely really good grub.Covid-wise, felt safe, good distancing and routes to and from the toilets and exits. Price, you’re really not going to beat anywhere. You’re getting way more than you pay for here. Then manager James ensured we were all happy throughout. A venue well worth a revisit, and even though we live 40miles away, we’ll make a trip for a dinner too. Not what you expect in Corby!!

Many many thanks to James, Pam, Stacey, and all the (morning and evening) staff & management at Oakley Hall. Fourteen of us were thoroughly looked after by a generously warm and friendly hard-working team over four nights/three days. Faith in humanity restored.

I would like to thank James and his team for another fantastic visit today, 13th June 2021, went for an early birthday breakfast with my daughter and granddaughter, service was excellent and quick and the food was of the usual high standard.We will be visiting again very soon.Highly recommend.

First time going to our local beefeater for the unlimited breakfast. Well what can I say wow it was fantastic and so yummy, the staff were amazing and we were never left long without food or drink they were fantastic. We had a very warm welcome from the manger and the waitress was so helpful. We will definitely be returning soon. 10/10 from us.

Glad to have my favourite restaurant open at last. We ate there on the second day of reopening and the standards were as good as ever. We ate in the restaurant, the service was excellent ( thank you Imogen) and the food was delicious. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening.

Came for breakfast with the husband, was greeted by James at the door and he was extremely efficient, our food was served very quickly it was lovely and hot and there was plenty of choice. This was our first visit back since lockdown & they didn't disappoint! We were greeted by Michael & served by Aimee & Becca. They're always so friendly & attentive with every visit. This restaurant is like a home away from home for us & the only place that our son gets excited about visiting!The food is always amazing, hot & served quickly. It’s great to be back - booked online the day before to get a table for breakfast. The beefeater is a lovely place to come we got a warm friendly greeting from James was seated to a table whilst being told and aware on the covid rules. Just had my first visit to a restaurant in months due to the pandemic. Have to eat out due to work. What a fantastic dinner I had. The manager greeted them seated me 5 seconds after arriving, I was then served by Vicky. Both were super professional and polite. Had the vegan choice which was new for me. (Just trying to do my bit) was a bit worried because wanted it to be nice as it’s my first meal out in months. Have to say I wasn’t disappointed. Was yummy and I really enjoyed it plus Vicky checked that all was nice and I was enjoying it. Can not fault the service. Was so nice to be looked after by a professional. 11/10 for service and would definitely look forward to coming back. Thank you Vicky for looking after me.

My family & I are from the United States & this was the first restaurant we chose to dine in, blindly of course because we don’t know the area. We were seated immediately, and Covid guidelines were respected. Our waitress Rebecca was absolutely amazing. She tended to our ever need, including our little one. And the food was out of this world!!! Great way to start our vacation. We will definitely return!

Food was absolutely delicious! I have definitely missed it over lockdown. Despite the current COVID restrictions, the staff provided excellent service which resulted in a great evening. Sara in particular was lovely and did not fail to put smiles on our faces! Defo would recommend!

First day back and what great service! My partner and I came for a meal on the first day back and everything was on point! We were seated the minute we arrived and greeted by what I can only describe as a very friendly and likeable manager! We had our drinks shortly after and everyone was following all guidelines perfectly, our food was lovely and despite it being a busy evening it arrived perfectly cooked and in good time. Our server Sara was very polite and couldn’t do enough for us! I haven’t had service like this for years! It’s safe to say we’ll be coming back, a big thanks to the beefeater team and especially Sara. You’re awesome!

The heading sums it up really - nothing other than a truly diabolical Christmas experience. The food was okay - nothing special, but nothing to complain about. That was until the manager - who was not wearing a mask - decided to become verbally abusive towards myself and place his hand in the close-vicinity of my face. I understand that there was a discrepancy surrounding the final bill amount between a family member and the manager of the restaurant. As this family member took charge of paying the bill before the meal, I am unable to comment directly on this matter; however, I can confirm the outstanding balance requested by the restaurant on the day was paid in cash, in full, before I departed. During the course of attempting to settle the discrepancy with the family member, the restaurant manager - whom was standing up - spoke in an increasingly loud manner, which caused me distress. I requested twice that the manager lowered his tone, as the fact that he was raising his voice was causing me significant discomfort and embarrassment. Other customers could clearly hear him whilst he was addressing my family member in an increasingly loud tone. I have a condition called Aspergers Syndrome, the side effects of which made the managers excessively loud tone all the more frightening and concerning for me. On the second time I requested that the manager lowered his tone of voice, he stated ‘I have had enough of you, shut up’, whilst proceeding to put his hand out towards my face. As you will imagine, having paid over £230 in total for the meal, it was totally unacceptable for the restaurant manager to use such language towards a customer. Indeed, this would be the case regardless of the sum paid, and is a point of common courtesy in the hospitality sector. Such conduct totally lacks any degree of professionalism, and caused me significant alarm and distress. Considering the fact that I had no involvement in the discrepancy apart from stating my discomfort and requesting that the manager lowered his tone, the restaurant manager’s conduct towards me constituted totally unwarranted abuse - particularly of a vulnerable person with my condition. I have, as a matter of urgency, written to Whitbread PLC's (the Beefeater's Parent Company) Head Office to request an immediate investigation, in addition to exercising my legal right under the Data Protection Act (2018) to access the CCTV footage of myself through submitting a Subject Access Request to the company. In my correspondence with Whitbread PLC, I very clearly pointed to any investigator reviewing the CCTV footage in the first instance, which will clearly display the restaurant manager on-duty putting his hand out in the close-vicinity my face as he told me to 'shut up' whilst I was sitting at the table. This was in addition to him not wearing a mask. Such conduct, in addition to being extremely rude, totally lacks any degree of professionalism, and I would hope that the firm take appropriate disciplinary action against this manager upon reviewing the CCTV footage. Whilst my cause of complaint in this review largely surrounds the conduct of the manager on duty at the restaurant, I also wish to bring to the attention the conduct of one of the waiters of potential visitors to this restaurant. They did give me their name - which I will not write publicly - but have referred to in my correspondence with Whitbread's Head Office. Whilst my family member was in the process of paying the outstanding balance in cash with this waitress, I was standing in the nearby vicinity with my other family member - discussing the process of raising a formal complaint about the manager’s conduct. This waitress was not involved during the discussions with the manager, nor witnessed him putting his hand in the close vicinity of my face. I am therefore concerned as to why they then addressed me - after my family member had paid - stating the fact that they were working ‘serving the public’ on Christmas Day, and not wanting to ‘go home in a mood to their seven-year-old child’. Overall then, a truly terrible experience - Christmas ruined by the appalling conduct of the restaurant manager, who thought it would be acceptable to aggressively tell a vulnerable customer with Aspergers to 'shut up', and put his hand in the close-vicinity of my face. I have made a formal complaint and a Subject Access Request to Whitbread PLC surrounding the managers conduct and my appalling experience, and will most certainly be pursuing this matter further through formal complaints processes. Please, for the love of god, avoid this place next Christmas - or, even better, all together.

Had Christmas lunch at Beefeater today. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were all friendly, very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Must be very difficult to stay 'Merry' in these difficult times. The food was lovely too with excellent service.

Having just moved back to the area we thought we would go out for Sunday lunch. The food was great generally. Although there was a slight mix up with my steak sauce and the crumble was sold out, our server Imogen was absolutely delightful and solved any problems we had immediately. It is quite rare to get such genuine and attentive service. The food was great but the welcome and service was outstanding. If we could be served by Imogen every time we visited we wouldn’t eat anywhere else!!

I do eat at this beefeater quite alot when i can...the staff are so helpful so polite.. the food is awesome... feel safe and full!! Well done to James and his fantastic team... will be back in as soon as you Open.

Had a lovely “early tea” tonight 26 October with the family, just 3 of us. Restaurant was busier than i expected but not overcrowded and Covid measures were heavily in place. Friendly service and not rushed. Food hot, drinks cold. Sara was our server for the evening and looked after us very well. Thank you. Recommend the chicken melt and the steak although the husbands gammon looked pretty tasty too!!!

My boyfriend and I went out for lunch/dinner and We ended up having a 3 course meal. Our waitress was Rebecca and she was so friendly, nice and welcoming. She was very alert, she knew exactly when to come over and when not to and was very patient if we asked for more time to decide. All round a pretty relaxed experience :) the place is very clean and has great covid safety rules with hand sanitiser everywhere.

Six of went for breakfast on Saturday, the organisation was excellent, but what really stood out was the service. For the first time in a long time we were made to feel welcome, thank you Danielle you have restored my faith in how we should be dealing with each other in this crisis.Sadly so few places are realising they need to make eating out a pleasant experience, and this place has really nailed it. I visited post-covid. The restaurant have done a great deal to ensure it was Covid Secure and I think they have done a fantastic job.I was looked after really well by Rebecca. The food was well cooked and presented and very tasty. Very good atmosphere in the Restaurant

Went during covid-19 2nd wave and had to wear a mask to our table, you can take it of when seated but must wear one to go toilet or leave, the meals came quite quick but you do only have 1hr 45mins at your table, meal was nice and hot as was the starters, had a few drinks, was early friday evening and was not very busy, just as we like it.

Went as a family of 6 and service was fab. Danielle our server was polite, helpful and attentive. Food was good quality

This was our 2nd visit since lockdown and we were very impressed to find that the excellent covid precautions had been maintained and we could safely enjoy our meal.The food was to the usual high standard and the service was brilliant - many thanks to Rebecca a superb waitress.The only downside was that Granddaughter's favourite dessert of Caramel Apple Betty was not on the menu. Rebecca informed us that it is available on the Mon-Friday menu and that has given an excuse to com back again midweek!Definitely coming back again soon.

Just dined in Oakley hay beefeater and what an amazing experience, we have dined here before and always enjoyed the food and the service.The lady who was looking after our table literally is the nicest friendliest person I’ve ever come across while dining in restaurants. My son is 5 and she was so kind too him and nothing was too much trouble for her. Her name was becca.c. She stood and talked to us made us feel so special and for me made the overall experience amazing. The food was absolutely brilliant so to the person cooking the food was also doing a great job.On first approach I wasn’t overly impressed by the manager he was friendly but came across a little abrupt compared to the other members of staff who seem to work very well in a busy environment . As a restaurant manager myself I never feel I can relax but because of becca I felt so at ease she really is a massive credit to this team , give her a promotion because she definitely deserves it.Because of this lady we will most definitely be dining with you guys again Thankyou becca your amazing !

We have been a couple of times since lockdown but this was the first occasion with a couple of friends. Were met by our server Rebecca who we knew from previous visits and she was welcoming, friendly and helpful as always. She briefed us about the new layout for social distancing before showing us to our table. All tables are nicely spaced for comfort. Service and food were excellent. The 50% discount off food for Reward Club members this month was a great idea and a welcome added bonus.

Today marked the first time my family and I had eaten out since before the lockdown occurred in March. What a great and worthy decision it was. Met with a warm welcome, a clear debrief of the new layout/measures, and a smile we soon felt comfortable of our safety and surroundings. Our waitress Rebecca C couldn’t have been more helpful, regularly coming around to check up on our experience and attending to our every need. An expert in her field, Rebecca truly is a credit to the restaurant. Bubbly and conversational, she had a natural ability to uplift spirits and enhance our stay. Compliments must also be given to the kitchen, who prepared the food with astonishing speed and care. The food was delicious, well presented and cooked just right. We were all extremely happy and found the portions to be spot-on.Suffice to say we will not hesitate to return, and will be sharing our pleasant experience.

I ate here with my Nan for lunch, our server Becca C - an absolute credit to the company. She was full of smiles, considering the year we have been through, she made us feel so comfortable. The food was hot and delicious, it came out within 15 minutes of ordering and we had a pudding to share. I will definitely be returning and my Nan said she would too!!

The place was just opened .There was little choice .tThe full breakfast was nice but the scrambled eggs were swimming in water . Tea was good and plenty of it . The manager was very pleasant and helpful. We will try it again

Getting back into our routine of Sunday lunch out, we visited this Beefeater to make best use of the reward vouchers that they keep sending me as part of their rewards program. Easy to find, although the entrance is out of sight away from the car park. Usual varied menu, well cooked and well presented, happily served by Rebecca. We will visit again!

I was stopping in the Premier Inn next door and booked a table here for my evening meal. Upon entering I stood at the check in desk for a full 5 minutes before anyone attended me even though I was seen by a couple of waitresses. Once seated I enjoyed a double burger but found it quite expensive for what I got. The waitresses really push you to leave a review mentioning their names which I don’t like. I’ve eaten in hundreds of restaurants and if I receive outstanding service I will mention it, I won’t be pushed I to mentioning staff names for mediocre service.

This was our third visit since this Beefeater reopened following the Covid outbreak and we continue to be impressed. Sarah was our server for the evening and she was excellent, showing good knowledge of the problems to be overcome and a really friendly outlook. Food was well presented and to the usual high Beefeater standard.We felt relaxed throughout and enjoyed the evening; and would recommend others to help increase visits to Beefeater.
