Daughter and I didn’t want to cook so we visited and as always everything was spot on! The menu choices were good and the meal was absolutely delicious, especially the porchetta, which came loaded with veggies. The service was super friendly right from the warm greeting to a lovely farewell. We know we can always count on great meals in a fantastic riverside setting here. Looking forward to my next visit!

If you’re looking for a trendy spot in Burton town centre to enjoy a simple but divine Sunday roast then this is the place to go. The staff are attentive but not over bearing, there’s a great selection of drinks and a diverse menu of nibbles, tapas and roasts both for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegans. The roast potatoes are the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant and the Yorkshire puddings are huge and clearly cooked fresh. A simple medley of veg and cauliflower cheese accompanies, just enough to share between two. Will return if I visit Burton again in the future

I drove 12 miles to get fish and chips for our family and friends which would have been 6 large fish, chips and mushy peas plus 5 children's fish and chips. When I arrived there at 20.55 they were closed. I asked the woman behind the Counter what times are the flying times and she said "We fry from five till nine" I told her that I saw they were closed at 20.55. She said "Yeah we close five minutes early but that's only a few minutes." I told her that it was out of order and I'm writing a review. She didn't care. Imagine how much this early closing costs the owners. I will never go there again.

A great place to stop for a coffee and a cake. I was out cycling and we passed through Windsor. Located in the old ticket hall of the station, it’s a bustling cafe with tourists visiting Windsor castle and cyclists from all over, stopping here for a break. It’s really accommodating for cyclists with its indoor bike racks, heated glove warmers in the winter time for those who like winter riding. It’s the highlight of a ride when we head out this way

After seeing some promising reviews, we decided to visit for a family lunch. Initially, the place appeared fine, but the seating area was quite cramped, forcing us to switch tables just to dine comfortably. Unfortunately, our Yorkshire puddings arrived burnt and had to be replaced. To make matters worse, the waiter retrieved my Yorkshire pudding from my plate with her hand. The Sunday roast is itemized, so you have to pay extra for vegetables like potatoes and carrots. Overall, the meal was quite underwhelming, and we won't be returning.

Saw this pub but past it from Blandford Forum direction, and we were hungry. Luckily there was a right hand turning where we could turn around 200yrds away. Good size car park, warm greeting, and extensive menu for a pub lunchtime! I had a delicious beef stroganoff, and hubby had game pie with stilton. All hot, and home made. Such a refreshing change from all the same chain pubs. Portion sizes are generous, interior homely and plenty of space. Lovely big fireplace, prices reasonable, well worth a visit!
