The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in South East

Called the restaurant as Order said delivered but we hadn’t received it, they responded with its on its way, after 45 minutes called again said it was on the way! Past hungry by this time and annoyed as said it had been delivered!! Eventually arrived- cold wouldn’t order from here again and the restaurant when called were rude, stating if you don’t like it then don’t use us, not the response you would expect when paying for your takeout! Will NEVER USE AGAIN.

Use to be fantastic food and service! Tried to order multiple times with business as 'manis' lately (now Zinos) through website to be told 'no service', have ordered tonight with hours displayed as open and yet no food has arrived. No answer to phone so decided to drive up to collect - the shutters were down and the location closed!

We very stupidly stopped in here after just parking up into Margate, very hungry, and really fancying some fish and chip shop chips! There was a traditional, small take away chip shop next door to this one but the queue was round the block, and like I said we were very hungry and didn’t want to wait! As soon as we walked into this restaurant, we regretted it and should have walked straight back out. There were 2 more customers sitting inside, in complete silence, a member of staff came over and told us it was only burger and fish and chips being served that day. We manage to get them to just serve us some chips, I had a wine and my partner had a coke (in a daisy printed glass that you would give your child at home). It was a very awkward setting to be sat in, the staff were just standing around, staring at you, in an empty restaurant, waiting for you to finish your food and then would pounce as soon as your had your last bite. A lady from outside came in and asked to use the loo but they said it was for customers only (fair enough) BUT they asked her to pay to use it if she needed it that bad! Shocking. She didn’t have any change so had to leave. I did need the toilet but felt too uncomfortable to go, I felt like there would be someone watching me. Needless to say, we left as soon as we could, and carried on walking up the beach….there were sooooo many more fish and chip shops and we were absolutely gutted that we just stopped in the first place.

Terrible, sent my food with no main, took 45 minutes for the main to be sent, when it finally arrived it was freezing cold, then failed to send another for another 50 minutes, server was rude on the phone.

The 6-piece chicken we ordered smelled very funny, and not even an hour later, everyone was on the toilet. It was clear something was wrong with the food, as we all experienced stomach issues almost immediately. This was a huge disappointment, as we were looking forward to a nice meal. We will not be ordering from here again and strongly urge the restaurant to check their food safety practices.
