Sam's Chicken in Southampton

Raw chicken. Do not waste your money or time! I have since found countless bad reviews for this place saying the same thing. Going to report to the council

Great food but last couple of times food not cooked and missing , Chips or Other foods /wings last time. Think staff don’t understand when ordering and customer service terrible . As can’t speak or understand basic English!!! Need to get basics right and Bournemouth branch be flying

Ordered a takeaway from here at the Bournemouth Sam's chicken restaurant (I'm guessing it's a chain as I use to like in Southampton and there was one there, never ate there before though). Ordered it at 6.20pm. It came at 9pm. Couldn't even call the restaurant as it kept ringing out (that's a wait time over two and a half from time of ordering with no updates) no apologies when it came, items were missing and then when we opened up the main box, the chicken was raw, literally pink in the middle. Absolutely awful. Do not order from here!

My chicken wasn’t half as bad as some of these but I’m not even an hour in and my cheeks are being clenched harder than Mike Tyson’s punch

You pay for cold food and terrible service and on Top of that you get 1 mayonnaise and 1 ketchup maximum, doesn't matter how big your meal is. Never heard this policy anywhere in uk. Even sam chicken on portswood road is much better. STAY AWAY from this greedy owner.

Never order from this chicken shop. When I do order it never turns up and they cannot even care less, they just blame UBER. when it does turn up, from previous orders, it's always cold.

Raw chicken, and tepid. Avoid at all costs if you value your bowel movements. I am queueing at the ferry port praying I can hold my cheeks together till I get to my cabin, or you might see a man overboard drill in action.

majority of our burgers where COLD the best thing was the CHIPs when taking away, staff refused that decision and said noting can be done and wasn't their fault they don't serve cold food ! Really ? and myself i just phoned because i fancy their staff even being married noting else sad service and attitude my GOD most terrifying. please check your food before leaving???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Hi we just ordered food from sam’s chicken restaurant. The dishes was very poor very low quality foods and extremely bad service

Attempted to get some food at around 11.35pm (closing time at 12) and the chap behind the counter rudely waved me off. I left and checked opening times (12pm close) and went back to say exactly that and got blanked. Went up to the Chap and said it's not 12 yet and then changed the excuse to "we have no food left". Fair enough but don't be rude or dismissive.wont go back now.

Sam’s is the best palace for foodies. I use to order twice in a week. Thay are amazing, food quality is superb and i love the test.

Chicken was still pink inside, rang to complain staff were so unprofessional & RUDE tried to blame it on the marinade but photos show otherwise! Hung up on me when I started to complain! Avoid at all costs! Will never go back again! If I could give this a 0 I definitely would

Worst food ever. Chicken was pink inside and still had feathers. Rude staff and unprofessional. Asked to change my order and they denied. Long time waiting to put money on the rubbish... never again

Really fancied some chicken and fries and got exactly what I ordered. Chicken was well seasoned and not dry. Fries were good. Now a regular customer.

We are regular customers to here, doing excellent service and food quality, Lovely hard working staff producing freshly cooked excellent standard. It was clear that there were lots of returning customers too. Generous portions, beautifully presented and amazing prices. The person serving was very kind. and gave us a selection of all the sauces, We finished up with the best churros that I've ever had. Can't wait to go back! keep rocking guys👍🏽

First time ordering from here thought I’d try something different. Not many drink options. Waited along time for my food for it to be cold and taste disgusting. The piri piri is not nice. I’ve never ever complained about a takeaway before, but this was just horrendous! Would not recommend.

I have been to this place a few times. My kids love their chicken burgers. The preparation quality is variable. At times I have they have been forgotten to put all the ingredients in all the burgers. Today, I told the guy behind the counter about the previous week's missed ingredients in two out of four burgers. His expectation was for me to return back on that day (I live out of the town and there is no way that I would go into the town for just some hash browns). I also ordered half a Piri Piri chicken but they were a bit too generous with the salt. I was sharing the chicken with my dad who only took two bites and could not eat any further. I pointed that to the guys behind the counter and their reply after speaking to the owner was that "that is how Piri Piri is". I have eaten Piri Piri hundreds of time at different places (even the proper authentic ones and also the standard high street chains) and have never had so much salt in any chicken. They really have to work on their customer services. It feels like that they have a change of ownership as the start of this place was great.

We love eating at Sam's Chicken. The staff are helpful. We ordered grilled piri piri chicken just like eating in nandos but much more spicier here. We enjoyed the chicken but it was abit too spicy for my son.

Amazing chicken, not greasy and very siMilar to KFC but it's made with more love I would say. Definitely recommend it
