The best restaurants serving Asian food in Gateshead North East

I should have written a review a long time ago since Spice Connection is my local go-to restaurant and takeaway. Its always a pleasure to visit as the staff are so welcoming. The food is of the highest quality, always served piping hot. Takeaways are excellent but if you're nearby I'd definitely take the opportunity to have a meal in the restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant are so accommodating even for non bookings. Great choice on the menu. Always made to feel welcome and better than other indian restaurants in the area, really enjoyed our meal.

Lovely restaurant, food is always amazing! Jon and his team are great at what they do. We went for late lunch today and had beautiful food and we were even given some plates for free!

I used to love coming here, but the quality of the food has declined. My husband's chicken katsu curry was very average with one very thinly sliced chicken breast, which was covered in a mountain of rice and topped with curry sauce. Very different from how it used to be and disappointing.
