The best restaurants serving American food in Braintree East of England

Had an early dinner and the service was amazing tge food was gorgeous definitely recommend again and look forward to going back and taking the dig next time

Amazing place, the food was incredible and the owners are so lovely! They allowed me to hire the venue for an afternoon tea party for a surprise baby shower and they truly went above and beyond with it! Everyone was commenting on how incredible the food was (there wasn’t much left!) and how friendly but professional the staff were! Will definitely be in touch again for future events and family outings as they also provide high chairs for babies/toddlers which is so helpful as I have twin toddlers so it’s great to know they can be safe while we all enjoy a drink and some cake! Best ploughman's I ever had. Who knew it could be spread so well? Just this man. The plate Steve produces is second to none, and watch your step 🪜 as you probably never thought to finish the main combo with picallily x beetroot on your fork—save the last blue cheese and grapes for the final smidge of chutters. Never will have a winner like it. Absolute gold. 🏆

Absolutely appalling service and products, food looks like two weeks old and tastes disgusting, just waisted £40.00, would not advise my family or friends to waist time and money over here. I included pics in a first pic is what it’s so called grilled cheese sandwich 😂

Second take away from this establishment, first was a sponge - nothing too special and to over priced BUT. just had New York cheesecake and I’ve never had such a fake tasteless dessert . I’ve had many New York cheesecakes but its got to be the worst Sorry!

This was absolutely butt cheeks. The food was way too greasy. The workers were eating the ready food. My whole order was wrong. I asked for a BigMac but they gave me chicken tenders. Absolutely embarrasing. Outrageous! If this happens again I will be calling melgizy!

Was initially disappointed to see a lot of me no u items unavailable - brisket, ribs etc all not on the menu but was excited for BBQ so decided to persevere. A decision we lived to regret. Ordered at 1820. Received delivery at 2045. In between were six calls with the restaurant during which they variously told us food was five minutes away (still an hour and a half to go at this point), was just coming out the kitchen now (one hour after ordering), had never been ordered at all before then informing us they'd run out of one of the item we'd ordered so they'd be replacing with pork belly. Eventually when the food showed up it was not worth the wait. Pork belly was somehow both over smokey (think creosote/sucking on a two stroke engine exhaust) and under cooked so the fat had barely rendered. The pulled pork bun was weirdly sour tasting and didn't have a lot to it. The wedges probably would have been tasty if they were hot and crispy. Unfortunately they were cold and soggy by the time they arrived. Coleslaw and pickles could have come straight out of Tesco's. Customer service was shocking, delivery took so long I could probably have raised my own meat in the time and when the food came it was bang average at best. To top it all of the restaurant acknowledged our complaints and rewarded us with a hefty £3 refund. Not sure what we'll spend it all on but it probably won't be this crap again.
