The best restaurants serving American food in Charnwood East Midlands

Unfortunately the menu shown on the website & what we experienced were quite different eg Fish & chips £11.95 vis £19.95 with the food not living up to expectations ( lots of batter with the chunky chips hard in the middle). I know times are hard but the basics need to be right if you are to charge premium prices.

Food was nice but glasses were dirty

Highly recommend! Really delicious food, friendly and courteous staff would definitely recommend. Jack who looked after us was great. You could really see that the staff really enjoyed working there and this reflected in the service. The steaks were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, and came with a really unusual ‘onion ring steak’ garnish. It was our first time going to the Miller and Carter in Rothley and I have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely love to go again. Thank you to Jack and The Team at Miller and Carter, Rothley for making my husband’s birthday so lovely.

To be expected there are always going to be people, especially students, that are disrespectful and feel the need to lash out through leaving bad reviews but I’ve come here with friends for years and I, and none of my friends, have ever had a problem. The staff are fair, understanding and absolute gem’s. Good people, people who come here never stop coming back and it’s no wonder why! ❤️ Ps. They’re also dog friendly
