Visiting this lovely pub again for quiz night! Always a great night in here, lovely food, amazing staff, and a superb quiz host! Pub is dog friendly too!!

We visit regularly and always find the staff to be friendly and the food to be great ! Always nice atmosphere and environment too !

Just shared 2 snacks bur both tasty. Couldn't get a fork though. 3 staff couldn't find a fork somehow 🤔 only 1 toilet worked, no hand soap or sanitizer. Thankfully had some myself in my bag.

For those who like apple pie, I cannot recommend this place more. With warm custard it is heavenly. The apple chunks inside have a nice consistency.

Visited backing Feb. Watching the England game. The pub was really busy, so service took longer than usual but expected. The food was nice and reasonably priced.

Absolutely amazing meal out for my daughters 18th birthday. Served quickly and efficiently, friendly staff especially Sean and Steven. Steven was very attentive from the moment we walked in and made sure we had everything we needed. He even went as far to sing happy birthday to my daughter despite her being adamant he couldn't. 10/10 service, would give 6 stars if I could give an extra one just for him! Will definitely be back.

Watched England match yesterday…….. the atmosphere was amazing…!!! High five to the staff and management who worked very hard throughout the game and after. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone……. The food was very good too…!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We've been down to watch previous World Cups and Euros and back for Euro 2024. Staff are very helpful and experience before, during and after England games are brilliant!

All the staff are welcoming and during the recent England games, it has a great atmosphere with everyone. They look after us as a Football Club on a regular basis and have no issues!

Very average Greene Pub - the food wasn't great though in terms of temperature or taste.

We visit this Greene King Flaming Grill pub regularly and they never disappoint! Usually the food is brought to our table by Steven who is always great ( Thanks!!) … food is cooked nicely and as requested and is usually brought out in good time too! Bar staff great - friendly and efficient! Great place to spend time !

Big busy pub. Lots of people eating but I haven't sampled the food.

The food was good, place is very nice, but the serve was slooow. She was about to give us a desert we never ordered... 2024 update: things improved on the service side. Very good overall

Absolutely shocking food and service. Steaks burnt, burgers tasteless and chicken looked trasparent and ribs dry. We paid over £70 pound intotal for a waste of time food and service. My son in law asked for medium rare steak it was burnt, when manager Tom Young was challenged he just laoughed and said it looked fine. He avoided us after this and never asked if the rest was ok at all. His only comment was he is busy. Doing what not sure. The only thing he offered wss a free drink or pudding. We never came for a pudding just a nice meal which it was far from it. I will be asking Green King for some answers as his people skills are poor. We have dined here often over the years but never again, my poor daughter who is 7 months pregnant her food you could have put it on a childs plate. Steak she ordered and trimmings were sad. I dont want any responce from the manager Tom, offering to try and put this right as too late. Very poor service. This is the worst review i have ever done.

Went into the pub today for some lunch place wasn’t clean but toilets were spotless ,there was no burgers as couldn’t get rolls , no ribs and no sirloin steaks .so we ordered garlic breaded mushrooms which were lush also ordered the nachos which came out all burnt and cheap salsa instead pico de gallo as stated on the menu . As soon as starters were finished main courses came straight out the waitress said they have been sat there waiting on the hot plate . First meal chicken and chips the leg was undercooked and the wings were all slimy, corn on the cob was cold . Then onto the lasagna which was burnt too a crisp and no meat in it at all just the sauce , and the 3rd meal was hunters chicken which was 2 small pieces of chicken which was burnt covered in slimy bacon , had a couple of mouthfuls and left wasn’t asked how the meals were once sat down , sadly won’t be coming back.

Food is always good. We went Friday night and there was live music. It was fab.

I visited for dinner with my husband and children on the 27/04/2024 (early evening, at approximately 5pm). Staff were all friendly. However, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive - 2 meals arrived fulfilled and we had to wait a further 10 minutes for one meal to arrive and half of two of the meals (they had forgotten chips). Staff were apologetic. Just before leaving, my husband had taken our children to the toilet and there was a drug packet present. Very concerning as this establishment is advertised as suitable for families. Will not be returning.

Great food, love the loaded chicken strips, the kids dessert menu is better than the adult one. Try the chocolate mania sundae. Plenty of parking close by.

An amazing meal last Friday evening. Served by lovely staff, not too long wait from ordering and food plentiful and hot. We were amazed at the value (2 meals for £11.99) and we will be back again this week! So nice to find somewhere that looks after customers, thank you!

What an absolute amazing asset to the team Chole is! She is extremely good with all customers and really goes the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your visit. This is fast becoming our place of choice to eat and have a few drinks, bonus that we can take our dog with us too!

Went for Christmas day dinner it was ok but because I don't eat sprouts or carrots the only veg I got was cauliflower with cheese sauce which I didn't eat due to being the core which you don't serve as ive worked in a kitchen for 29yrs also the Christmas pudding was very chewy we couldn't eat it. We were supposed to have a hot beverage with a mince pie which we didn't get I did see a lot of wasted food on plates maybe the chef needs to improve his skills Also to do smaller meals for over 60s like you do for children
