The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

This is my fav spot in town been going for the last three years regular. Me and Bear (my humongous dog) are always welcomed with a big smile (and a dog biscuit). After a walk on the beach I normally just get coffee (which is the best). Every now and again, I have a bagel or special, and it is always top-notch. I went in this week and my laptop was running out of battery and Sarah was crawling around on the floor helping me plug it in (service!). They are such a lovely couple, and they seem to always hire lovely staff too. Sit on the sofa and chill or perch in the window and watch the world go by. Five stars. (My kids also love it- when I take them)

Got a Juke Burger at GPO Liverpool and the food was amazing. Last time we were at GPO my wife got a burger and I was sooo jealous that this time there was nowhere else I was going. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when asked about allergens and really helpful. Good range of items on the menu. Wife had the Cluck Norris and I had the Brooklyn and they were both amazing and cooked perfectly. Had Cajun Fries which were crisp and perfectly cooked. Deffo would be my first choice when we go back to GPO!!

Tried this place on the off-chance, not knowing anything about it. After all, one pizza's much the same as another, isn't it? "A Margherita, please." Sat down in an atmospheric narrow cavern with a corrugated ceiling, set in a railway arch. Room for little more than one line of tables. I was the only customer. Three staff on--two youngsters and a lady owner. I felt a bit awkward. Bit of a wait. Good sign, though. And, oh my gawld, what a pizza it turned out to be! For a start, it was square. (So, no, all pizzas aren't the same.) The base was very thick and almost chewy in places, especially the corners--but in a good way, like sourdough. The mozzarella was the real thing, with cartoon-like elasticity which made eating this pizza an experience--the opposite of a fast-food pizza. The tomato sauce ran into pools over the surface. They'd cut the pizza into 4 quarters. I only managed 3, it was so filling. And I thought I could eat any amount of pizza put in front of me. No way should a place like that have been empty. One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life.

I recently dined here with my husband on a Sunday on arrival the staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you! We had the roast beef and peppered chicken both were amazing (the Yorkshire puddings were fab) Can’t wait to return

Shops is not really in the best location in Horsham so don’t know how much foot traffic they get but once you know about them and crave a burger you will be going back again and again and again and again and again. Always order via Deliveroo as it’s easier and delivery times are as expected but when it arrived wow it’s the best burger you can get in Horsham if not the surrounding area. Never dry like McDonald’s or Burger King and the fact you can customise your burger makes it far tastier. Chicken burgers are also good and even better (in my view) than KFC. Well worth the money you pay for it.

Popped in here for the first time for brunch, extensive menu to choose from. The loaded breakfast was excellent with bacon and sausage from local butcher, really good value for money, the staff were friendly and professional. couldn't understand why it wasn't busier. We will definitely be back again.Thank you

Absolute amazing burgers 🍔!! Tracked Marcus down to his new premises and was not disappointed 😀 Best burgers in town by far with a tasty smoked tomato dresssing. Definitely worth a visit if you're sick of dry tasteless burgers and much prefer tasty, juicy homemade burgers 😀

Exceptional experience, the interior is very nice and cozy with great music playing just right. We had the steak and haloumi burger, the food was absolutely perfect, the chef probably cut an angel as an ingredient. Best of all was the service. Unfortunately we don't speak much English so we couldn't appreciate the waiter on the spot enough, but it was an exceptional experience and we thank him very much for his hospitality (13.10.2024). He dressed perfectly, prepared excellent drinks and behaved like a perfect gentleman. We hope the restaurant continues to thrive because this is absolutely perfect and we would love to return!!!

Stunning! Chef knows what people want and it’s served well and with quality ingredients. Dirty fries are amazing, burgers are stunning and the ‘fusion’ of favourite flavours compliment all the dishes...... If you haven’t tried the Sunday Roast, you’re missing a trick.....BEST IN LANCASHIRE!!!!!!

The best little cafe in the area. The food is freshly cooked. The staff so friendly. Helped me get through many a cold morning recently!
