The best restaurants in Wales

In the past we’ve been to the Amroth Arms for a bacon roll and were planning on doing so today, but when we got there they’d hadn’t opened. We decided to try the Smugglers for a change as it was dog friendly. We both ordered the Breakfast Ciabatta, which was served very quickly and piping hot. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and the food was lovely. I would certainly recommend.

Lovely pub with a babbling stream at the front inhabited by a tribe of ducks, Inside it is spacious and has a large outdoor seating area, the main reason for visit is the excellent vegan food, we had a great night with friends for a 50 th birthday.

Early for our reservation on a busy night. No problem. Seated and served promptly. Had plenty of time to get to concert at St. David's Cathedral. Our best meal.

The best matcha place ever!! Super fresh and the place is amazing. I genuinely go to this place because the staff are wonderful, the man that works there always brings me joy with his energy, they’re very friendly. If I had the chance I would probably be there everyday!

We found the food, service, ambiance and cleanliness at La Marina to be excellent. It is in a nice location opposite the marina/dock at Y Felinheli. We recommend La Marina for somewhere with a 'touch of class' to enjoy a meal.

I've been coming to les and Rita's chips shop for many years the staff are always nice and friendly and the fish and chips with peas is just amazing and very reasonably priced .. keep up the excellent work and see you again very soon.

Lovely, friendly staff. We are vegan and found the staff very willing to help us with our choices, pointing out a few of their specials. The tomato and red pepper soup was delightful, and served with a proper chunk of bread. We also shared the loaded chips (a nacho style twist). Decided the food warranted a coffee and pud, a vegan-friendly raspberry and choc brownie. Fast service, and good humoured, chatty staff. We will be back!

Excellent food, large breakfast for hubby and eggs benedict for me. Food was hot, presented as pertaining and really good value, staff lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous food!! Proper pub grub! I Highly recommend the Unicorn. Always come out hot, fresh and plenty of food and the bonus is... It's really quick service, they don't mess about 😁. Also got a chefs daily board which always sounds hearty pub food delicious!! Desserts are to amazing also!! Definitely not your Iceland crap 😁 Reasonable priced same as everywhere else! Plenty of parking and a nice beer garden 😏 Coors is a must try, it is absolutely the best pint around. I can not get anywhere else 🙈 if the food don't make you want to go back... The coors definitely will 😁😁 Friendly and helpful staff which go above and beyond. Thank you 😊Keep up good work guys 😊

Not a bad pub, bit quiet, bit over priced, has decent sport shown.

A small, very busy restaurant with welcoming and efficient staff. The menu is not large but offers a good variety that would offer something for everyone . Puddings particularly good, but all our dishes were well cooked . We recommend

Loaded fries aren’t loaded no cheese onions etc just chips and chicken and very little sauce
