Lovely venue and spacious. Accommodated and fitted a large party. Vegetarian halloumi burger with chunky chips was delicious and the biscoff cheesecake. First time visiting and would definitely return.

Came upon this place by luck whilst visiting the area. A very warm welcome and lovely food, reasonably priced too!

There's not many places that you walk in and slot straight in, great food the staff are brilliant and the beer is very good. I would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful little pub with grub, and adequate parking. Easy to find. The staff are lovely and help you with your service throughout your visit. The menu has classic favourites, reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and decor is well themed for a small Welsh pub, with great ambience of music and lighting. They have a beautiful outdoor garden too. Will visit again!

Went to a Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration here. Menu had plenty of choice and something for everyone. Food was beautiful. Service was friendly and the atmosphere, welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing meal tonight Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, food and service and welcome was fab well done Ashley and team.

Really good food and beer. They have refitted upstairs into a restaurant area yet managed to keep the downstairs still as a pub with good real ale and a wide selection of other beers and ciders as well as some fancy gins! Also has a nice sunny (well potentially!) beer garden and a car park

Had food before the comedian on 16th feb,was excellent only disappointment was the dessert board only about 4 choices but not a major issue (calories and all that) Upstairs to watch the comedian and what a treat absolutely superb had everyone in a party mood Well done to Ashley for putting a great evening together will definitely support any other events Must mention the staff friendly,efficient and spot on with everything A proper boozer

Really nice atmosphere, relaxed and great food. We came in prior to the rugby and the staff found a nice quiet table to serve us delicious food. We will absolutely return! :)

Family of 13 meal, asked to pre order food. All meals were pre ordered but still managed to get 2 meals wrong. Had to get own cutlery for mains after cutlery removed after starters. No steak knives offered for those having steak. Waitress didn't even know which steak was which or how it had been cooked and what sauce was with it. Overall not a bad meal but a lot could be improved on.

Friendly atmosphere. Good traditional pub grub at a reasonable price. Would like more choice of vegetarian food but as I occasionally eat fish I was able to find a suitable choice.

First time here as treated by bil easy to park as we were early but gets full if you eat later good seating for me . Expected the normal Sunday roast but no the lamb was thick cut but just melted in your mouth veg well cooked not served half raw as is the fashion now, roast pots done to a crisp not pale and bland like so many places great gravy with any sauce you need and hot plates ,a rarity now . The sweet was just what was needed after a heavy course light sweet but very full of flavour . We will def be going again when we next visit great value for money

Very nice Sunday lunch. 8 of us had booked for a family meal. We had heard it was good and it was. Loads of meat, veg. Most of us had 3 courses, full up.

Radiators on full, felt uncomfortable and hot, service was horrendous young lad serving incorrect order taken, drinks order taken not delivered . Lasagne had an inch of cheese , the medium stead was so tough was unable to cut through , was unable to complain as felt intimidated by a member of staff that advised should have complained midway through the meal , everyone knows you discard these people walking past , felt very uncomfortable after complaining to the point didn’t order desserts . Really disappointed by the food poor service environment and attitude of staff member was disgusting rude and intimidating

Excellent little pub. Went to a wedding there, their first one and they done amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for everyone. The room was decorated beautifully too.

Went to my cousin Mike's wedding yesterday and have to say the food was amazing. We had the reception here and everything was perfect all lovely staff so friendly. I highly recommend and will deffinatly going to travel back for a meal. We'll done guys keep up the amazing work. Gaynor and Sally xx

It's been a while since I have visited Ashley's due to the covid restrictions, but on my return last week, the staff was very welcoming the food was excellent the ale was very good. I will be back very soon.

Food is always exceptional everytime we have been. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We will be returning many more times.

Only been once. Nice quaint pub. Lovely staff. Carpark gets full quick. Easy to find. Food was lovely. We had Sunday roast. Only thing to complain about was the gravy was a bit bland. But, we'd definitely go back.

Excellent service from the staff. Dog friendly as we've found in most places of our Wales holiday. We ate outside couple days ago as it was lovely weather. Today, inside due to the blustery rain showers. Good value and very tasty meals.

Good food great staff very helpful

The food is overpriced and the taste is very bland. You can see the staff tried their best but it's evident they are working in a very toxic environment, the manager/owner she doesn't seem to be very nice to customers or staff, I may have misjudged the situation but I very much doubt it. Never again. It's the poor employees I feel sorry for.

Had a table of 6 booked yesterday and the food was Absolutely fantastic also the service was amazing with Porcha and Laura serving us, I would highly recommend the Argentinian steak

Fab service, great menu choices and for the more adventurous there is Adult (alcoholic) slush puppy available.

Food nice enough pub lunch but service slow. Didn't have a pudding but they looked great.

Six months ago I gave this little pub/restaurant a rather poor rating - not for the food because I did not eat there - but for the the rather brutal makeover. Today however I salute the owners and staff for staying open in very difficult times. We should all get in there and support them now before it is too late. I still have not eaten there but I will very soon.

Extremely bad staff who lie about others. Owner is very sly also and people have been fired from other staff lying about them. Overall a very toxic environment and unfair workplace.
