Great cafe, excellent food, coffee and cake. Recommended.

We had a wonderful lunch at Tides today. Lovely to sit outside on the patio in such picturesque surroundings. The staff are really warm and friendly. Our two chihuahuas were made to feel very welcome. Thank you! Definitely some of the best seafood we have eaten - all beautifully cooked. The tempura prawns in particular were spectacular - fragrant, a lovely crisp batter, and prawns perfectly cooked. Good thing we’re only here on holiday or we would be back every day! Will definitely have to pick up another divine cinnamon bun before we head home!

Good atmosphere and fair prices. My husband, who is very fussy about his coffee, was very impressed. Overheard other customers complimenting the food.

We visited Penally Abbey for the first time in November 2022, where we got engaged a short walk away on the beach, and then again in September 2024, for a short break straight after our wedding. In 2022, we stayed in room 6, and this time we stayed in room 5. Both rooms are absolutely stunning with amazing views of the sea. Penally Abbey is so beautiful, and the team are helpful and friendly. We love the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting. We had dinner at Rhosyn, which was great, and enjoyed cocktails from the bar. It was lovely to be welcomed with coffee and cake on arrival. The location is absolutely beautiful. As well as a walk along the beach, I'd recommend checking out local walks in the area, we particularly enjoyed Barafundle Bay and the Bosherston Lily Ponds. On both visits, we had issues when we planned to go out for dinner in Tenby with the trains being unreliable due to the single track and a lack of availability of taxis between the hotel and Tenby at "peak" times. Obviously a very pleasant walk along the beach at low tide, but high tide/night time it's less easy! So if venturing into Tenby for a few drinks, I'd recommend pre-booking taxis and perhaps not relying too much on the public transport!

Visited a couple of times whilst holidaying in St dogmaels. We were made to feel welcome. Saturday was particularly busy. We ate on taco Tuesday and the food was terrific. Would recommend.

Beautiful remote location, cosy surroundings, and the food was delicious! Take layers and it did get a little cold, but the overall experience was wonderful.

Food is always exceptional, very friendly and welcoming staff. Won’t go anywhere else!

Had Sunday lunch here. Best Sunday lunch we have ever had Service was quick and staff were lovely. We were able to take out dog inside as a section of the dining area is set aside for people with their dogs Highly recommend this place. Fabulous view too. Walk on the beach then have a fabulous lunch

Small and cosy, with nice food options, and pleasant street tables if the weather is ok.

Best Indian food we've had in years very good price as well will definitely recommend and will definitely be calling back 😀 really happy with food service and friendly staff 😀

Looks like a nice pub. I'm camping in the caravan site next door. It's called Marylands and it's really good.
