Had Sunday lunch here. Best Sunday lunch we have ever had Service was quick and staff were lovely. We were able to take out dog inside as a section of the dining area is set aside for people with their dogs Highly recommend this place. Fabulous view too. Walk on the beach then have a fabulous lunch

Another great golfing weekend at Newport Sands - Outstanding location , the views are great , staff fantastic (big shout out to the cafe staff who were excellent) plus top people in the golf shop who looked after us. The rooms are clean and spacious with an en suite bathroom that does the job. The breakfast after a good night out was freshly cooked and a good portion. We were a group of 8 ( 2 x 4 balls ) and all love coming here for our annual get together - for the price we pay for 2 rounds of golf plus bed and breakfast for 1 night - you will struggle to find a better venue. Get it right with finding entertainment in the nearby town (as we did) and it's a top trip. The only downside was slow playing members but that was addressed. The course itself was in decent condition , some animal scrapes on the fairways and greens but what do you expect. A good test of golf and very enjoyable. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g311424-d7222874-r951604146-Newport_Sands_Golf_Club_and_Resort-Newport_Trefdraeth_Pembrokeshire_Wales.html#

Great expansive beach with shallow sea, ideal for sup or a spot of swimming

Lovely long beach where you park up and enjoy the sand…always loads of camper vans and lovely doggies. Cafe and take away always very busy. Toilets are free but smelly..could do with a good deep clean! But still a nice place to chill out and watch them trying to get into the ice cold sea 🌊

Five Stars for Cwtch Coffee – A Warm Welsh Hug in a Mug! Two Australians wandered into Cwtch Coffee on the morning of 09 APR 25 (probably looking jetlagged and deeply confused) to a cosy little gem that lives up to its name - “cwtch” really does feel like a hug, and this place wrapped us up like a toasty blanket fresh from the dryer. The service? Impeccable. The prices? Surprisingly kind to the wallet. The Coffee? Solid, satisfying, and exactly what we needed to help reset our body clocks. We were served by a brilliantly funny Irish gentleman who could moonlight as a stand-up comic if he ever tires of perfectly pulling espresso shots. Honestly, if the coffee hadn’t perked us up, his banter would have. He made us laugh, feel welcome, and briefly forget we were two Aussies in foreign territory with no idea how to pronounce “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.” If you’re ever passing through Wales and want great coffee, affordable prices, and a dose of Irish comedy - don’t miss Cwtch Coffee.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday weekend. The hotel is fabulous, in a great location and is run by super friendly staff. The breakfast is super tasty & has a great selection on offer. We stayed in one of the dog friendly coach house rooms that was perfect, beautifully decorated & spotless. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights & the food was fantastic. This hotel is a little gem & I will definitely be staying again.

Not sure where to start with this exceptional restaurant in St. David’s. We enjoyed a fantastic small plates breakfast- selecting the trout, mushrooms , bacon and pancakes. What a wonderful way to start the day. The plates whilst called small - were a perfect balance of taste and quantity for 2 to share. Thoroughly enjoyable vs a traditional breakfast. We then booked onto the Tasting Menu evening meal for my birthday. I can quite happily say this was one of the best birthday meals I have ever had. The lobster bisque was possibly one of the best things I have ever tasted..!! Followed by a fantastically balanced risotto.. the beetroot cured salmon was a delight and loved the three cornered leek and crispy Alexanders. Then onto the meat course - perfectly cooked belly pork, even a simple potato was made exceptional. The blackberry jelly & sorrel was a wonderful palette cleanser before the quite delicious custard tart… each course showcased unusual foraged wild ingredients, all I can say is more, more, more please. A MUST for anyone visiting St David’s.
