A lovely local bakery with good bakes. We had the Tuna Sandwich 🥪, it was so good. The filling was generous and tasty with fresh lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes (you can request if you prefer without). Highly recommended! Chocolate Flapjack was super good, the Almond Marzipan tart very tasty too. The scones is lovely, not too sweet, so perfect with the cream and jam. We saw many locals dropping by to get their bread and sweeties too 😍

Awesome selection of hot and cold food, bacon butties, hot pastries and cakes that make your mouth water, proper old school bakery, get down there sharpish.

Great granary loaf's but don't leave it too late in the day they often sell out early

The quality of bread is fantastic but recently it seems as if there is a fault with the bread slicer as the thin brown bread is alternate slices of thick and thin slices. Totally unusable if you need to make a lot of sandwiches due to the inconsistency of the thickness of the slices.

Very friendly staff, the bread is absolutely delicious, it makes the best toast, good selection of bread, cakes and snacks. I travel from Newbury every couple of months to stock up on bread, if ever you are in the area, well worth a visit.

Excellent choice of cakes, sandwiches, pastries etc. The quiches are amazing Shame they dont sell hot pies pasties etc

A proper traditional bakery, always stop there on the way to Swansea, quiche out of this world. A real local treasure.

What a little gem of a bakery. A mouthwatering selection of bread, cakes and snacks and all at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Parking available right outside the shop. They also take card payments which is useful. We'll be back I'm sure in the near future.
