Had the festive burger meal, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. The burger was juicy with good flavour, the brie was creamy and the cranberry sauce gave sweetness.

While driving through, we phoned and had a table on the off chance. On arrival, we were welcomed with open arms, and it soon became apparent that we were lucky enough to have the last table that evening. Such delicious food, all freshly prepared, even made us a coffee to take with us in the car to continue our journey! Well deserving of a 5 ⭐️ review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This chippy is so good!! I ordered fish and a small chips and the quantity was so much - not to mention the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was lovely and the restaurant is very clean. They take cash only so be prepared before you visit.

Superb staff, care about the customers, always ensure food quality is the best. Won't use cheaper food to ensure food quality is it's best. 5 star food rating. Always my number 1 chinese.

Called in on way to somewhere else for a coffee and stayed for lunch. So glad we did! The lunch prices were really good and the food excellent ( nice portion size). Great food, service, beer and coffee. Highly recommend.

What an excellent visit we had! The bar staff and landlady were so welcoming and funny, we could have stayed for hours. Dogs welcome too, perfect stop off on our canal boat holiday, would most certainly return.

A traditional family run local, with a homely Sunday lunch. A regular.

Sadly there was very little signage to indicate that all produce is plant based. That is not how we choose to live. We think there is a place for animals in our world. We ordered two pastries and coffees. The almond croissant was delicious . The coffees were very disappointing and made me feel a bit icky. On our way out I looked careful at the sign and noticed it was all plant based. This isn’t mainstream food and therefor attention needs to be drawn to it.

Visiting Monmouth we were looking for a Lunchtime venue close to the town centre . First impressions surprisingly roomy inside with lots of individual tables . The bar staff were both efficient and friendly . The menu is varied and well priced , we ordered Cheesey chips as well as the Steak pie chips and peas served with an individual pot of gravy which we both enjoyed . The restrooms were bang up to date , exceptionally clean and a pleasure to use . Overall we would have no hesitation to recommend this venue .
