The best restaurants in Canton Cardiff South Wales

Mi esposa vio el letrero del café y, como los dos estábamos hambrientos, llamamos. Cuando estaba entrando vi una "cálida bienvenida" en el letrero afuera y eso es exactamente lo que obtuvimos. Mi esposa pidió un sándwich de tocino y yo un gran desayuno. Le pregunté si hacían pan frito y la encantadora y amigable dama dijo que podía hacerme algo. ¡Excelente! ¡Un desayuno no es un desayuno sin pan frito! Poco después, nuestros tés llegaron en tazas limpias con platillos, jarras similares y un plato para bolsitas de té. El té estaba muy caliente. Las tocino eran buenas y mi esposa las disfrutó. Mi desayuno llegó muy caliente y con pan frito. ¡Hombre feliz! El personal era amable y servicial. Los precios son excelentes. Nuestra comida y bebida era menos de 10. Buen valor y agradable. ¡Gracias a quienes nos sirvieron!

I've been dragging my friend on a burger tour of Cardiff for a few months now. We've gone to some of the most recommended spots in town. I can honestly say, without exaggeration or hyperbole, that this was not only the best burger I've ever eaten, but one of the best meals I've had in my life - and that includes my grandmother's cooking. I knew the reviews were good. I knew that the restaurant owners owned the butcher's and the farm too, so I was prepared to enjoy myself. I was genuinely unprepared for just how good the food tasted. I could use phrases like "melt-in-the-mouth", "bursting with flavour", or "perfectly balanced", but I wouldn't be doing it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. The only burger I've had that came close was a lamb burger served on the farm where the animal had been slaughtered that morning. The freshness and quality of the ingredients here, from the homemade buns to the inspired toppings to the tender, juicy meat itself, are immediately apparent. I was both completely satisfied and could not get enough. I'm going to be dragging my friends and family here every chance I get - this place must stay open, it is a genuine Cardiff institution and Welsh national treasure. Again, I'm not exaggerating. P.S. Attended a private party but other members of the public were able to walk in and completely too over the party. Security were there but did nothing. Wouldn't recommend

A really nice café serving a lovely (huge) breakfast and really nice and efficient service. We'll defintely be going there again.

The food at this establishment was undeniably delicious, showcasing a delightful range of flavors that truly impressed. However, the service experience fell short due to a noticeable lack of staff. With only one person managing the customer flow, wait times became excessively long, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal, which was also quite frustrating. While I understand that managing a busy restaurant can be challenging, it's clear that additional staff would significantly enhance the customer experience. I would highly recommend this place for the food, but I hope they consider expanding their team to better accommodate their patrons in the future.

Great, apart from music, they should put another radio station, rather than Radio 1.

Can’t remember the last time I had such a delicious burger. The flavours were so well balanced, the cheese is perfect grilled, the Welsh meat is so tasty and flavourful and the buns are so soft and pillowy We had the barti ddu and the grav. I can’t wait to go back to try the mutton burgers. Truly a gem this place!

Went to watch the city play at home last week. Great place to catch a beer and after before the game. Will certainly be there next home game.

Came along with friends for the Beefy Boys van, stayed for the caramel chocolate torte - 10/10!! Lovely friendly staff too. Will be back again

I’d been eager to try out Massis for a while so I finally got 3 of us together yesterday lunchtime…..we hadn’t eaten a third of our sharing platter full of authentic flavours we all love, before saying we’ll definitely be coming back!!! The staff especially Sabrina were amazing and they welcomed us into this chilled setting within a church which was so quirky. I cannot recommend Maasis enough….a must try for your tick list Thank you Sabrina & all Will see you again soon Joy Stu & Leon 🍸🍺❤️

We hired the function room for a funeral wake. The venue was excellent - clean, light and airy - a very functional space. The buffet was very nice and good value for money. What really made the venue special was the staff. Emma the manager really went out of her way to make things as easy as possible for us and meet all our requirements. We would also like to thank Matthew and Rhianne for all their hard word. We highly recommend the Victoria Park Hotel. Chris and Jan Perry

Wonderful, been going here a while. Lovely people, great food, every time. They made a mistake once and rectified it immediately and with some extra prawn crackers.

Went for the first time today and it won't be the last time, very impressed with the food it was delicious and the place is very clean top of my list now.
