Awesome Barista who made the most amazing latte with oat milk, really friendly service - staff were amazing, they don't stop, their customer service is on point, I hope the owners value the way the staff work, they are really amazing.

Our favourite Saturday breakfast spot! We come here every so often on a Saturday after we’ve taken our little boy to football and the cafe just doesn’t miss! The food is good quality, tasty, good value for money and is always hot! The service is always 10/10 too - not very many places get it all right but this place certainly does!

Haven’t been here for a number of years since moving from canton, food quality was awful Stone cold hard chips about 5 on the plate, sausages we hard and rubbery black pudding was cold not going back again

As ever, the big breakfast is just that...and delicious! Friendly staff, good toast and coffee and a great atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my English breakfast here. It was my first one in 4 years and it did not disappoint. The service was great and it was a comfortable place.

Had a lovely lunch here as always. One of my favourite hidden gems in canton. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food always comes quickly and piping hot. Salad and chips are crisp and and fresh. 10/10 well worth the visit. Picture is of the lasagna!

I've edited my review. I gave 3 stars before because I had quite a few instances in a row of my order being incorrect. Recently though there has been a massive improvement and it's it's no longer an issue. Great service and great value food. If I have one criticism though.. when a multiple people order breakfast they bring everyone's toast out all on one plate. It's weird. Especially when there are a few of you.

It's a bit untidy (found a fish moth walking around), but for a good cheap breakfast it's not bad. I'm knocking 1 star in the hopes that you will clean more thoroughly next time, as it kind of kills my appetite when I see insects crawling around! Other than that, the breakfasts always have good portions, they're hot, and well-priced. Thanks =)

1st time visiting Care Fresco. Have the set breakfast, excellent value for the price with a lovely Latte. Food freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. What more can you ask? Swapped my egg for my friends black pudding.

Ordered a meal. Not available Ordered something else, came out stone cold frozen in the middle. Sent it back came out again reheated dry as a bone Paid £7.50 will never return again sorry

Another nice meal here. Always friendly service. and social distancing observed. The breakfasts, especially the large one, are very well done and not greasy. Chicken curry was very tasty as was the lasagne. Quite a meeting place for locals.

I had been on an early shift and working all day when I had a flat tyre in Cardiff. I was knackered and hungry so I walked down to a a nearby main road to look for somewhere to get something to eat. I only ordered a bacon sandwich, but it also came with some chips and a bit of salad, which I wasn't expecting but I was very grateful for. It was outstanding.

What a gem of a cafe. Love this place! Always great quality food, good portion sizes, excellent staff and clean cafe. The addition of being able to park at the back is a huge bonus! Has become my go to cafe now.

This popular place has had a smart makeover. Staff are efficient and friendly and it's spotlessly clean. We had scampi chips and salad and lasagne, both very tasty. and served on large white plates. Both delicious!

Me and my partner have visited this local gem a couple of times and every occasion has been excellent. The staff are accommodating and friendly even during the busiest periods. The portions are large that doesmt distract from the fact it is delicious.

Out for a full English with the family and it did not disappoint. Food was really good, not greasy in the slightest and for the price excellent value. Staff were really friendly and the only down side was not being able to pay by card.

I don’t usually go out of my way to rate cafes but I visited this today while passing through and it stood out... Staff were super friendly, & really welcoming to what I assume were their regulars, nice to witness. They were very helpful to their customers. The cafe was nicely decorated, clean and with a top hygiene rating Food portions were really good!! And food was fresh and well presented If I’m back in the area it would be my first choice

Food is very clean here. Cooked breakfast is great - lean and free of unneccesary fat.

Very disappointed with opening times on Saturday morning been stood outside the place at 7.30 website said it opens at 7 never been there so I wanted to try it I Will not go back shocking

Food is spot on and reasonably priced. The staff are wonderful and Angel taking the orders and making hot drinks is so efficient, friendly and patient with every customer. The only thing bad I can say about Fresco Cafe.....No can't think of anything.
