Came here for some food on a Saturday afternoon, Weather was lovely so we sat outside, had a lovely table in the sun. Chairs could do with some cushions and we were all rather uncomfortable after a while. It seemed to take rather a long time for someone to come and bring menus and take our drink order however it was very busy. Food was good but pricey, cheese board at £12 had 3 very small slithers of cheese one of which wasn’t particularly nice…. We ordered chicken, lamb and the delicious bread with marmite butter which we love. We decided to have another drink but went to sit inside after eating and we were quite annoyed that despite having one round of drinks with our food and reordering the same again at the bar, my sister was charged £16 for her wine instead of the £10 one she’d had at the table. Did t realise the mistake until we came to pay. We left a bit annoyed and its not a mistake we will repeat.

Service was poor and none of the food tasted very nice. We asked for a table but were left to find one ourselves, then for the rest of the night we had to wait around and chase the staff to get menus, get our order in (they wouldn’t take the full order in one go), and pay. We were brought an additional item we didn’t order which they took back, but they still tried to charge us for it. We liked the restaurant interior and atmosphere but overall we were left disappointed.

What a find this place is! Little plates of delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service. My husband loved the oysters and red mullet. I enjoyed the Comte and crispy onions tarts. We both thought the truffle fried chicken and crispy potatoes were gorgeous. Lovely cheese board to finish! Enjoyed to so much we have been twice this week! 👌

I only popped in here last Saturday afternoon for a late, light lunch. So I haven't really formed an opinion quite yet. I love the interior and the vibe of the place, but need a few more visits, I think to appreciate it fully. This applies to the food too. It's very ambitious, but somewhat heavy. We'll be back soon to spend more time though.

Fantastic food and oysters, as well as amazing and friendly staff! Came here with my partner for the first time and the waiter made us feel welcome straight away, and the bartender even came over to check on my allergies to make extra sure (not to mention made an amazing Bloody Mary!) definitely recommend and will certainly be returning! Worth the price for sure, can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I have visited next door a few times which has been great but we ventured for a quick drink on the way home from work. Loved the atmosphere. A great wine selection with some lovely little bar snacks! A bit of sourdough bread with some marmite butter went down a treat! Will definitely be returning to enjoy the atmosphere.

From the minute we arrived Brandon and his team took great care of us. The oysters were indescribably delicious, sublime doesn't begin to describe them. Served 4 different ways there is definitely something for everybody. The sourdough bread with marmite butter was a treat and the mussels a must. We will definitely become regulars at this gorgeous place with it's excellent service. It is also worth mentioning that they have a happy hour on their oysters until 18h30. This made us very very happy.

My husband and I went there for their happy hour for cocktails and oysters (only £2 for oysters during happy hour!). It was a lovely atmosphere on the terrace and the food and service were both excellent. They accommodated an allergy at our table without issue and the oysters were incredible value for money. Our favourites were the fried oyster and the pickled apple with horseradish. Special mention also for the trout and nori which was also excellent.

I have been to Uisce several times and everyone for a different reason or context, but every time has blown me away. It is a treat. I couldn't afford to go whenever I wanted, which is probably a good thing otherwise I would be there all of the time (which is not tobsay that it's not good value for money) but as I've said, it is always a treat. The food is beautiful, the drinks are outstanding and the staff treat you like you're special.

I went last week for drinks before food. Asking the staff about vegan options i was assured that some dishes could be made vegan and so stayed. Essentially this was by removing the most expensive ingredients without substitution, hallmark of a lazy restaurant behind the times. E.g. paid £9 for some meh tomatoes and 11 for some artichokes, all tiny portions of course. I was assured there would be a great sounding noodle dish as well, so ordered that. Cocktails were excellent, but i was recommended an off menu cocktail without being told there was a £2 surcharge. Anyway, in our party of four, SIX dishes never arrived, including the noodles, which was the only reason we stayed for food. Had i known I'd leave hungry i wouldn't have stayed. Ended up paying £44 for two cocktails and two substandard small plates alongside some bread which is quite frankly outrageous. Being told to "come back at a less busy time to get better service" was the icing on the cake. Such a shame, don't go here for food.

Fantastic food and wine, lovely ambience and great staff. The secret is to head there early to get a table. It’s only small, so until the weather warms up, we are more than happy to sit inside. All the dishes we had were delicious. Yes the portions are quite small for the price, but the taste makes up for that. Everything was lovely. The wine is good too, and again, a bit on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get. The service is great, friendly and informative. Will definitely be back soon.

My second time visiting...had lunch with a friend in the outside area. Absolutely gorgeous dishes, beautifully presented, and top class service. The monkfish was absolutely gorgeous, and the pulled pork crumpet so tasty. My only criticism is that it's a little pricey for a light lunch, and we only had soft drinks...at £40 a head. But if you think that quality, style and excellent service deserve that little bit more then it's worth it!! Will certainly be back soon!!

We visited on the spur of the moment, around 9:30pm on a Saturday, and we’re lucky to get a table. We sat inside, and the ambience was lovely (music slightly too loud but GREAT playlist). We had Oysters, and tapas dishes, along with a bottle of wine. It was all gorgeous. The service was incredible, staff all so lovely and friendly. Although it is part of Heaneys, it is completely separate. They have a lovely outdoor seating area under a stretch tent. I have noticed the other reviews about service, which is why I have highlighted the time of our visit as although we managed to get the only free table, most people had finished their food, so perhaps if we were there earlier, we may have had to wait longer. From our experience, we cannot wait to go back!

Had our first dining exprience at Uisce this week, after enjoying eating at Heaney's many times in the past and we were not disappointed. The small plates were delicious and lots to pick from, you can tell that only the freshest produce is used and that love and care is put into the preparation, everything was delicious, the oysters were the best we have tasted. We love sitting outside under the tent, it has been so well decorated, it really adds a nice atmosphere to your meal. The service was excellent, nothing is too much trouble, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Some of our dishes are missing from the picture, but that was just from us being so excited to start them that they were half gone before I realised I hadn't taken a picture!!

Had lunch today and we were both very happy with the food. The lamb, curd and garlic dish was absolutely stunning, as was the chocolate choux bun. Whilst it isn't cheap, it is definitely worth it as the food is just really, really well done. A few reviewers clearly want to eat to the point having to loosen belts. I was definitely not left hungry. The staff were brilliant, and we will definitely go again.

Hmm the evening for us started badly - got better and then got worse again. We went here for a celebratory meal for our anniversary. When we arrived we were offered a table right next to the door in the path of everyone and also told we had to vacate it just over an hour later! This had definitely not been told to us when we booked. We obviously declined and opted to sit out on the terrace. (Which in fact was a good option as the two inside rooms have so many tables crowded together you would constantly be knocked by people/servers going past - the noise level is also very high with so many people in a smallish space.) The waiter who served us first was lovely - in fact all the staff were, the problem being that there were just not enough of them by the time the restaurant was full. We had arrived early so did not realise just how busy it would get. Our starters and mains were very nice - although by the time the mains arrived the staff were stretched - my husband had to go and find someone as the promised sauce had not arrived after about 15 minutes by which time I had eaten most of the meal before it got cold. We could see the staff were busy and we were not in a particular hurry but when the plates had still not been cleared about 3/4 hour later and we had not ordered a pudding, we asked one of the staff. They cleared and brought the pudding menu but by then we felt we had had enough and decided to go home for some ice cream. If you like a very noisy busy place and dont mind waiting a long time its for you - but it is not somewhere I would recommend for a romantic evening!!
