Just tried the new menu. The fillet of steak was amazing. Service was very prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back, highly recommend to friends and family, thank you.

Cracking little premier in a great location. Rooms as always very good. Room not heated on arrival which is a bad point as was freezing out. Breakfast was good although they need to keep the juices topped up. other than that very good. we always stay here when visiting friends in area and shopping.

Another lovely Friday lunch the gammon was perfect and the Katsu chicken topped chips were delicious. A huge thanks to the team and especially to Sian who always gives that extra touch, ensuring that your dining experience is perfect.

Visited yesterday for Father's Day. Waited 1hr 20 mins for food and ended up walking out. Asked staff twice where our food was, but the Waiting Staff were disorganised and dismissive. No-one came over to inform us if there were delays with the food, and they were still accepting walk-ins up to 3:45pm, when booked customers still hadn't been served. A very disappointing experience for my Dad and the whole family. The food is normally excellent, it's the customer service and complete lack of organisation, notably on a Sunday and at peak times, that lets the place down. Waiting Staff should be allocated to specific tables to ensure customers are served promptly or advised of any delays. Also, some training in managing customer complaints wouldn't go amiss, instead of rude stares and no feedback. Won't be frequenting on a Sunday and peak times again.

Went into greggs this morning for 2 bacon rolls, 1 person serving on tills and making the rolls, he was handling money and making the breakfast rolls with no washing of hands I was mortified at this so left my place in queue.. No thank you.

Just visited this Gregg's store and was served by Lyn the manager. She was too busy telling a group of young lads(well behaved) to move if they weren't buying anything. She actually messed up both my pasty requests and gave me 2 pasties that I didn't want. Unfortunately I was unable to go back into store as I was already out of the bridgend area by the time I noticed. Thanks for the poor service.

This is a first class award winning fish and chip shop. Fish / chicken nuggets cooked to order. Great selection of pies, fish, sausages, rissoles, curry etc. My great grandchildren love chips and chicken nuggets or pie or sausage form there together with a Slush Puppy. Give them a try!

Ordered chicken and lamb arrived. Not shitable. Lamb shosh kebab that aas ordered was gristle and not chewabke. Wouldnt order again.

They arrived quickly with piping hot stuff. Brilliant food. Will definitely order again.

Really tasty chicken and good portion sizes, could be a bit crispier but the taste was great. Its also great being able to park outside after 6pm

Shocking service today. Got there at 11 when it opened, staff member came out at 11:10 half asleep no greetings. There was a lady in front of me who had booked for 11:15 she told the staff member who then went into the back for another 5 minutes then came out got the lady and took her to her table. Another staff member was just staring at me and my partner. After the 1st lady was seated the staff member came over and said we’re not opening today until 12 now. The other lady booked but we you haven’t so we can’t seat you! Did not make sense as they would have been cooking for the other lady and her table anyway?! There were no signs to indicate this and online it says 12, no sorry or anything. Shocking attitude and behaviour, could have told me at 11:10 you when you spoke to the 1st lady not let me stand there for another 5 minutes!

I went to the bar in this pub on several occasions over Christmas and NewYear with my family, including my son, who was visiting from Australia. On the first occasion, most of the bar area was reserved which I assumed was because the party was eating. This turned out not to be the case. I can understand if this was the restaurant -but the bar! We had to leave as there was no more space although whoever had reserved many tables had not yet turned up. On the second occasion, as my son was leaving the following day, we had a session from mid afternoon and had spent a considerable amount of money. At 7.30 on the dot we were told by staff to vacate our table as it had been reserved. My husband and I are in our 70's so the only alternative was to stand at the bar. Since we are not in the greatest of health, we decided to leave. We made way for a chap in his 40's. It was humiliating. I wouldn't call myself a regular but I've visited the pub 3 or 4 times a month for the past 50 plus years. Why are there reserved seats in the bar area for people who are not eating? I noticed people viewing these reserved seats and lesving. This surely isn't good for business.

Doesn’t even derive one star. A woman was waiting to be served for about 30 minutes everyone looked over and didn’t sort anything out. The hygiene in the toilets is shocking. I waited also 30 minutes to get my food and the restaurant was empty just me and this woman. Would not recommend
