Greggs in Bridgend

Just visited this Gregg's store and was served by Lyn the manager. She was too busy telling a group of young lads(well behaved) to move if they weren't buying anything. She actually messed up both my pasty requests and gave me 2 pasties that I didn't want. Unfortunately I was unable to go back into store as I was already out of the bridgend area by the time I noticed. Thanks for the poor service.

Good for a quick cuppa and a pastry. Good value for money. Always busy with people popping in to purchase take away drinks etc.

Well prepared and served food is really enjoyable. At a very minimum price , quality of the items on display is really good tried couple of baguette one with chicken BBQ and other with mayonnaise.. Even kids can have it .. served hot also if required and peri peri is a must try item on display.. and very accessible from the bus station.

Good location amidst the shops in Bridgend. Good value for money and more often than not there is a queue.

Served fast and without complaint. The server who took my order for two bacon rolls touched the rolls by hand even though there were tongs for use. The same sever who handled all the other customers food and money without washing their hands. It seems basic hygiene is not part of the job.The two rolls had bacon that was over cooked and dry. The first bite I took just after leaving the shop tasted less than luke warm.I'd happily come back for more bacon rolls if things improve. There is nothing more needed at 7am in the morning than hot, fresh, crispy bacon rolls. Sadly, that day it was not.

Whilst we were shopping in town we popped in for a quick bit of food . Bought a Steak Bake pasty and a baguette. Really enjoyable food on the go 👍 Staff are always polite

It doesn't matter when I go in, this woman consistently shouts over others and manages to mess up orders. Twice I have complained to head office and even stopped going here for some months because after complaining she over charged me she was even more rude when serving. She tries to serve two or three customers at a time, usually men and gets it wrong and you have to repeat your order over and over. Such a shame as the food is good and the other staff are so lovely. There is an older woman who is always so friendly and helpful. It's enjoyable watching her roll her eyes as Karen shouts and messes up yet another order!

very handy location, easy access off the main road. Karen and the team are friendly, always profession. Can get very busy most mornings as very popular with local workers for the £2 coffee and bacon roll deal Be patient and the queue will move! .I've been calling in for over 2 years and never had a bad thing to say about this place which is why I'm writing the review. This branch is closed for 1 week from 8th Aug 16 as they renovate the shop and add seating.

We enjoyed a coffee and pastry which was very nice. The greggs is very clean and the staff were very efficient and could not fault the service. open from 6.30am so early risers can get there caffeine fix.

Love greggs food is always of good quality. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Would recommend calling in if passing.
