Nice place to stop for a quick lunch/snack or just a drink, quick friendly service, very quiet when I went but it was late afternoon.

Chips were dry and like rubber,ribs were dry ..unedible meat on bone ..very disappointing wouldn't recommend or use again

Very nice chips they were crispy and not soggy the sausages were nice so can’t complain it’s best chip shop we’ve tried in Tredegar

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Curry and rice were tasteless, chips soggy and frozen, bhaji's floury and to top it all off, waited just under 2 hours for delivery when we were told it would be 40 minutes. Had much MUCH nicer indian meals from the microwave. I'd go as far as seeing it's one of the worst take outs I can remember having in my adult life. Dont say I didnt warn you

Honestly one of the best little eateries you can go to, especially with the scenic views. The staff have always been lovely and friendly, so no idea where the other review is coming from, and the food is delicious, you can see it is all made fresh with great ingredients? Would recommend if you love home made fresh food on the go!

Firstly, it is not the fault of the ordinary restaurant/store staff at the Ebbw Vale Morrisons store. Explanation: We are regular shoppers at this store. Over the past few weeks, we have noticed and experienced a gradual decline in store services, from broken entrance doors, uneven floor grids at the entrance security barriers, lack of trolleys, non-functioning hot and cold drinks machines to non existent restaurant services. However, today was unparalleled. Although a Sunday, the restaurant was potentially quite busy, insomuch that a queue of people were waiting at an un-manned till / order point. A call was made requesting staff member to attend the till. While waiting, a number of customers simply walked out. Customers who had been served earlier, wanted to know why they were still waiting 45 minutes later for their food. It was confirmed by one of the two available members of stall that there were indeed only two members of staff present, attempting to cook serve and carry out all other duties including clearing tables and keeping the cutlery tray replenished with teaspoons! When someone dud arrive, it became obvious that the unfortunate young lady had no prior knowledge of the restaurant/kitchen procedures, or menu availability, and had been pressed by desperate supervisors under the control of incompetent and uncaring senior managerial staff to undertake a duty for which they had no training, The queue of customers ordered their requirements in order. After again waiting an unacceptable time, it was announced that the restaurant was closing, and that customers still waiting would be refunded for the orders they had made. Unbelievable! We have used this take away for a few years and it was pretty good overall however, it has gone seriously down hill over the past year. We were really fancying a Chinese takeaway away a few weeks ago and ordered the usual meal of king prawn curry and rice and beef chow mein and it would prob have to be the worst Chinese I've ever had. The beef chow mein consisted of a container of noodles that were literally dry a few bits of meat literally zero sauce. We won't be going back again.

Utter terrible service ordered a ranch bbq, and almost half the toppings were missing, but the young man that served me was brilliant he was kind and sweet and hadn't seen him in a while, maybe a week ago it almost makes up for the utter horrendous service and the terrible food that they serve AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS worst food in ebbw vale angry😡🤬

This could easily have been a very negative review, as we have had three recent home deliveries, ALL with either missing or incorrect items! The store is literally only just over a mile away, but as I am currently housebound it may as well be on the darkside of the moon as far as my circumstances dictate. The most recent order wwas delivered minus x4 fries and, no matter what your opinion of KFC fries, that ruined a much needed meal after a long drive! On this occasion though, my other half was able to go into the store the next morning to complain. To her eternal credit, the Manager (unlike her counterpart at the nearby McDonald's!) was extremely apologetic, and replaced the entire £40 order on the spot, so well done her! Subsequent deliveries have also been correct, AND pleasantly hot...👍🏻
