I can’t say the food is bad - generally the original recipe chicken is hot and nicely cooked. Don’t risk anything too complicated. Always seems to be a problem with something though - cash only tonight as the card machine has been broken all week apparently -,had to park up and wait 10 mins for the chicken though.

Drive through for fast food a joke, extremely rude staff, when I got home the food was literally squashed in the bucket and full of grease, put in air fryer to make sure food was cooked

The staff in this KFC need to be re trained in how to deal with customers, Rude and ignorant!!...A Please or thank you would be nice ... Absolute disgrace !!

Absolutely awful place food was cold staff look dirty and run down use to love a kfc but after visiting kfc Ebbw vale gone right off it it needs a complete overhaul or close it

Car park was spacious and very clean Seating area was clean and has good lighting Toilets small but clean Food was delicious served and recieved my food within 5 minutes of ordering

Absolutely disgusting, if I could give no stars I would. 45 mins waiting for chicken whilst others drove out with their food whilst we still waited. Management skill was non existent. If I was told there was a wait for the chicken when I ordered I would not have bothered. Review will be going to head office. They weren't even busy.

I visited this restaurant today (28/7/23) at around 4pm for take away. The restaurant was not the tidiest, napkins on the floor, drink marks on the counter. There was one girl called Skye working extremely hard to take and prepare orders while other member of staff was either wandering around clearly doing nothing but trying to look busy and more interested on when the next member of staff was starting than helping the young girl with a growing queue. Skye deserves 5 stars as she was definitely doing the job of 2 people. The food was lovely and hot so no complaints there.

as usual service was dreadful .The server could not use the till which resulted in me not having any changr . When i asked for my change i was met with a shrug of the servers shoulders . if i patronise this establishment again i will make sure i give the correct money,,

We had the zinger burger and chicken fillet meal. Chicken fillet was over cooked and burnt. Lettuce tasted days old and the women serving at the drive through has appaling customer service skills. Attitude and no manners. Also forgot to put chips in the meals and give us our Krushems. We had to drive through total of three times because of their lazy mistakes. WOULD NOT RECOMMENED THIS KFC TO QNYONE EVEN MY DOG!!!

I got a zinger tower meal I checked the 7 up free before I left the drive hrough, it had no taste they swapped for Pepsi max. I got back to work and found I had 23 chios and a burger that looked like it was cooked the orrvious day. This kfc is rubbish, don't go.

Disgusting dry bland food, with not a pigeon in sight near the “restaurant” I now question where they get their protein from.

I use this place quite often. Had two days excellent customer service through drive through by a young girl called Alesha. Was give a fork for bbq bites, survetes and now sauses. However today I was served by a boy called Daren Woods and he was useless. No fork, sauses, survetes. Had to go into kfc to ask for these even though I had gone through the drive through today being Sunday 20th Feb. There wasn't even any type if cause put on my chicken burger, just lettace. KFC in EBBWVALE has gone right down hill since first outbreak of covid hit the country. It seems several eatout/takeaway places are also giving a bad service including McDonald's in Ebbw VALE. Terrible customer service. I would avoid these two eating places in Ebbw VALE. If you want good food and great customer service, then Blackwood is the place you want to go too.

I actually seen the manager taking the dates of an item of food. And then give it out This is what I seen so you can imagine what goes on with the date and food behind close doors. Contact KFC care team and its More like we don't care and will cover what he did all I wanted was them to view cctv. To see what happened and contact me but they was to gutless to do so I suppose ignorance is bliss where there concerned

The most shocking and disgusting food. They always run out of items on the menu, forget half your order and the food you do have is beyond disgusting. Chicken pieces drip with oil and fat, taste awful and are tiny. Chips resemble cardboard. The only thing they do well is the gravy. Had a bad belly the last time I got something from there, never ever again!

Absolutely terrible place!lemonade tastes of nothing but soda every time! Asked for wipes didn’t get any when I asked again was told “oh sorry don’t have any”!? Constantly mess orders up and quality of food I always very poor! AVOID!!!

the second week in a row the order has been wrong when delivered. This time a complete missing meal, as well as corn, Gravy and drink (1.5ltr). Last week was the same!!!! This is the absolute last time we use KFC in Ebbw Vale. It’s was a weekly treat for the kids and two weeks in a row they’ve been left disappointed! How hard is it to put the correct order in the bag? i ordered a kfc from here and paid £1.99 for a piece of chicken and it was absolutely tiny!! i am fuming.

I ordered a meal with 7up free in the drive through I got cherry Pepsi. The food not good half bag of chips. Staff rude gave the impression she did not care. All in a load of rubbish.

Spoken to like a piece of rubbish by the woman on the speaker, given mash that had quite clearly just been microwaved. My burger was completely bare, one piece of lettuce. Absolutely rubbish.

As long as you don't go in expecting a 5 star top notch fancy meal, you won't be disappointed. Just your average KFC.

My wife and I purchased a bucket of hot wings on offer . When I opened them some of them were rather shrivelled up and darker in colour than the rest ate a few of them and within an hour I was not feeling well...

Ordered the twister wrap meal, was given the wrap half wrapped in paper and all that was in it was the wrap, chicken and sauce! Nothing else?? Also the mash was dried up in a tub like it had be sat under a hot light...

We arrived after travelling for over an hr. We decided to stop off at the KFC. We were first faced with not being able to do 2 orders at the same time and was told to go back round, very rude customer service and also...

Having given this restaurant a few opportunities ( 4 in total), Not once have they got my order right. They even forgot the ingredients in my sandwich. The sides are never what I ask for. This last visit even made me ill. Stay clear.

As in other comments this place is consistently poor! Every time I go there I say never again but find myself going back thinking “well it’s kfc so shouldn’t be bad all the time” but fair play to them they maintain a constant level of...

In fairness it's not an expensive restaurant but today's visit was surprisingly good, the food was piping hot, the portion size was great, I didn't leave hungry. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We eat regularly in here,the food is really tasty and has a large seating area the staff very capable and loads of space to park.

Popped in here with my daughter and my sister for a takeaway late tea .. early supper ... and what a shambles... the young girl on the till was so lovely and polite in taking our order and she was very very helpful love her...

Staff members absolutely terrible no customer satisfaction what so ever management well she was like a bulldozer on steroids didn't care less and a disgusting attitude quite sure her name was leanne one of the worst members of managers I've seen in my life she should be sacked the customer always comes first and she couldn't care less stressed and not able to run a bath let alone a business she should stay at home the company would probably run better

Called in for Rice and Salad box. Sat in eating area. Food spilled over floor, waste bin spilling over. I asked the so-called Manager why his place was in such an appalling condition. His response was “to busy to clean up”. There was nobody else eating in the restaurant and 6 cars waiting for food. There were plenty of staff available to clean the eating area. It’s an example of a poorly managed facility. Shame on them all!

Absolutely discusted! Fast food.....definitely was NOT fast food cued to order which took about 20 minutes! Then to top this wonderful experience the food was hardly warm! DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO KFC EBBW VALE.

It had a loud door which slammed behind you (thats just me , but the chicken pieces were quite dry in the mighty bucket for one which i ordered. My friends he said were ok, he ordered a boneless banquet.

Well, well what a disaster...the double down is a joke. The picture showed an offer of a limited edition menu item, in which two chicken fillets encase bacon and cheese - however, without any exaggeration what appeared at the bottom of the silver bag was two chicken breasts, with no coating/breadcrumbs, a slice of processed cheese and half a rasher of cremated bacon. We looked around for Jeremy Beadle!!! I was glad to see that it's only around for 3 more days. Either KFC have produced rubbish or this store is serving it up as slops!

I have a young child who enjoys a takeaway now and again. This establishment shouldn't be allowed to be open. We have eaten here on a few occasions and It is absolutely appalling. We have had to wait in queues for 20 minutes or more, then to be told they have limited menus. The floor and tables here are absolutely filthy, you can smell the pee coming from the toilets which are close to the ordering counter. There is food all over the floor and tables. We have decided we would rather go elsewhere than come here again, we don't want to get ill.

Went to kfc earlier today, what a drama. Went through drive through thought it would be quicker. Ooooo no. The menu has hardly any box meals, the kids meals have been scrapped. When taking my order of very limited choices I was told there was a 20min wait on chicken.... Considering its a chicken fast food place surely the staff have enough common sense to make sure they have enough stock cooked for people. The lady at the window was rude and abrupt and at one stage when I asked her a question about payment she actually ssshhhh me.... Such a bad kfc let's the whole organisation down. They really need to train their staff in working in a fast food joint and train them in customer service..

Supposed to be open at 10.30, didn't open until 10.40, didn't get served for another 5 mins, then eventually got food at 10.50, in the mean time the manager having her own food! Fast food!!!!

Awful service, never have gravy, run out of chicken. Head office needs to sort them out sharpish! Wasted my time on multiple occasions it's gone downhill so much in recent months.

Fue la peor experiencia en kfc última noche! No hay que ir con la comida, tuvimos que esperar más de 15 minutos para la comida y luego no nos podíamos sentar en cualquier lugar aparte de al lado de la puerta donde se estaba congelada debido a cada mesa está sucio. Pedido de la cosas malas que falta tamaños orden equivocada dada. Personal necesita una sonrisa más y, encima, y más completo fuera de contenedores circule. Been here a few times and orders usually have something missing,(only chicken is served here!?) how does this happen. They also keep you waiting for a long long time (around 10 minutes) bad considering its a fast food place. HYGIENE RATING 1 RECENTLY, Luckily Merthyr kfc is much better

I love KFC and have tried many in different towns and cities, Ebbw Vale spotless clean, love the food, only downside is they cook to many chips in advance and I have yet to have hot ones, which sometimes puts me off.

This KfC is hit or miss.We went through the drive through on a Sunday afternoon, we only ordered a chicken strip meal with gravy, got home & they forgot the gravy plus the chicken was 'dried out' & warm, not the usual hot, fresh quality I expect - I could tell the chicken wasn't fresh, didn't bother eating it. I couldn't be bothered to drive back to complain about the food & waste my petrol!The boy who served me on the hatch, was more interested in chatting with another staff member than taking my cash & serving me, this normally doesn't bother me, but this experience was poor.

My chicken was hours old and tough and completely dried out. The fries were the same, old and limp they were so tough it was difficult to bite through. I was at home when I opened the box and immediately threw the lot away. The staff were a load of kids who didnt have a clue and were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than customer service. MY FINAL KFC ..........EVER.

called in here for a snack but wont again chicken luke warm under cooked and very greasy no body to complain to and when you go on kfc web site there is no response back this must be the worst kfc around

Staff are very rude, mostly kids with attitudes. Please KFC invest in compartment staff Urgent.This was my latest and last visit. I can put up with the cold dry chicken and the cold soggy chips. But the staff rude attitude is the final straw.

I walked into the restaurant and the boy serving was a disgrace. His shirt had never been ironed and was stinking. How can people expect their food to be good when staff are not concerned with their own presentation

Clean, modern, fresh and one of the best KFC I have visited. Food presented well and cooked to a really nice standard. Good on this franchise location! Oh, and litter free car park, bonus ...

I have had a fair few meals from here. On more than one occasion they have ran out of chicken. They always forget my extra orders (gravy, corn on the cob ect). The staff members need some serious training. Relatively clean since been renovated. Would avoid this KFC and go to Blackwood.

I've been to this KFC in Ebbw Vale a few times now and I'm always disappointed, to start with I'm vegetarian so the options are pretty much non existent . They are always out of stock of corn on the cobs and they are very reluctant to let you use any vouchers or coupons always looking for an excuse not to take them.Other members of my party who normally love KFC are never pleased here either as the chicken is apparently dry.

I don't eat fast food too often and this was so bland I probably won't for a few more months . The service was not the best and it took far to long.

Even though this was one busy it was well organised. Placed perfectly to pick up a quick munch on your way through it gave us what we wanted. Seating is also very busy though so plan to eat somewhere outside, perhaps in the square.

Poped in for a quick bite to eat I have to say what a terrible descion, ordered a 3 pc meal served by someone who could only grunt at me, the chicken was barely warm fries where cold and limp. The chicken is quite simply overcooked and dry the majority of the time.Some of the staff are sullen and uncooperative, though not all of them.

We have used this take away over the years, had the miss fortune to go inside around Xmas, what a dirty hole, no effort made to clean, poor chicken poor service, I would think twice before I would use again..its being revamped Jan'14.But still selling FOOD? Should be closed for revamp. 2/10.
