The best restaurants in Brynmawr Blaenau Gwent South Wales

We went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday - the welcome was attentive and the staff were really helpful - the food was fabulous well presented and so tasteful in fact it is one of the best Italian meals we have had - this is a truly remarkable restaurant, and we can’t wait to return.

I stopped at this CAFE on a really long bike ride and the staff were really friendly, it was that typical Welsh hospitality. Only had a coffee and a fizzy pop but would absolutely recommend anybody else to come here on their bike rides. There was ample seating outside and you could easily see your bike through the window when you went inside to order. Thanks 😊

Hidden Gem 💎 Booked table for a Monday. From the outside the window details hide much of this very tastefully decorated Italian restaurant including a beautiful Italian landscape painting. Calm music playing in the background made for a relaxing atmosphere and enjoyed the ambience 100%. Service was great. Great choices on the menus. The calzone was very large but extremely tasty with a thin dough which made the dish easy to finish with a fresh side salad in a dressing. Loved the taste of the dough even compared to another leading Italian restaurant I favour. Toilets are spotless. Highly recommend and no doubt wi be back ❤️

The quality of their Sunday Lunch is first class and I think better than all the others I have been to in the area. We go once a month and the consistency in there food is excellent.

Had food from here tonight absolutely delicious and brilliant prices will never order from anywhere else again I had the chicken ball special could of fed all of my house 4 of us for only £8.00 even better when it tastes amazing 👏

Just popped in for a coffee, the lovely smell of cooking encouraged me to stay a little longer and have a full breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed. Worth a visit on Beaufort street

I would give this place a different score if there was a 0-. On our visit, the place was cold, with the door wide open it was a damp rainy day that we ventured into this cafe. There were only one or two other customers at the time. We ordered two breakfasts at £14 total, consisting of an egg, toast, one slice of burnt brown bread, recooked burnt bacon and a sausage that would only be identified by dental records. It seemed like the only item that was cooked to order was the poached egg. A disastrous occasion of visiting this almost empty cafe.

Always have a nice curry but the chips weren't edible we had to throw two bags straight in the bin. Considering the cost isn't cheap they are a little expensive I thought the cooks of Masala could take a little more care when cooking their food, at least try it before allowing the produce to be sold to the public. Disappointed.

Had food from here on Friday night, I have to sat the food was amazing! So fresh and tasty also the friendliness of the staff was fantastic. This is going to be my new place for take away, well worth a visit.

Won a £20 gift voucher to spend in the shop. Ordered food to collect. Then told I couldn't use the voucher as you only have one month. There is no expiry date on the voucher. Shocked and extremely disappointed they didn't honour the voucher. If there is a time frame to use the voucher it should be stated like other venues do.

I have to say this is the most welcoming fish and chip shop in the area by far, food delicious and fresh and the staff are amazing big shout out the Sophie and millie today and also emma and T amazing happy girls x
