Won a £20 gift voucher to spend in the shop. Ordered food to collect. Then told I couldn't use the voucher as you only have one month. There is no expiry date on the voucher. Shocked and extremely disappointed they didn't honour the voucher. If there is a time frame to use the voucher it should be stated like other venues do.

Absolutely loved this place, great quality and quantity of food, lovely and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back here again.

Had Chips and Irish curry, was done quickly and was absolutely delicious. Probably the best Chippy I've had. 100% Recommend.

Went in for a quick bite to eat after a long day, quality food with good prices. If you are in the Brynmawr area, would most definitely recommend 👌🏻

So been a customer for many years & haven’t really had a problem until today. Let’s begin ….. I ordered a 10inch pizza meal for my mother & ordered myself just a 7 inch 4 topping pizza as I wasn’t that hungry. £14 for my mother & £10 for mine which I already thought was expensive but I let it off because I had 4 toppings🙌 total comes to £27 which £3 extra was delivery charge even though I literally live 4 mins away. So our food arrives, Straight away I realise that my pizza has little to none toppings which I payed £1 per topping!! Once again over looked it until I took a bite, Now everybody has tried the little Chicago town microwave pizza….. Comes out all soggy and just like rubber right? Well this was the same like chewing on grass & even had no crust just like the microwave pizza!! I didn’t even finish one slice it was that vile to which I then went downstairs to check how my mothers tasted…… Before I even opened my mouth she has said the same & all her food was in the bin!!£27 payed for literally one whole slice eaten between us!! For that price we will now rather eat dominos because somehow even that is cheaper! T

I ordered a burger meal for £8.95. It came with a good portion of chips and a can drink. Burger was a decent size and was very tasty.

Been a regular customer for years. Brilliant staff and the food is some of the best. Their chips are A1, you wont get better than theirs (real chips, not frozen). Highly recommended.

Fantastic little place for fish and chips. I tried it last week for the first time and I must admit it's on par with Church Street Fish Bar in Abertillery, expect here it was cheaper. The fish was really fresh and the batter was just right: crunchy and not too thick. The chips were great too. The curry sauce was really good too (right amount of curry flavour and too thick or runny). One small complaint I have with the curry sauce is that it was too salty for my liking.

Food and customer service were excellent. Munchies was brilliant

If like me you like your fish cooked so that the fish is delicately cooked but the batter is thin and crisp this is the place to go I hate seeing raw batter on the inside, munchies is one of the very few places I have ever been to that actually cook the fish perfectly, it’s a real treat for me to go there. Add to that the fact that the staff are really nice and friendly for me the place deserves 10/10. And I am a really fussy burger so it is without doubt great!

We had really nice meal in munchies in brynmawr this evening. I had fish chips and mushy peas and my husbsnd had pie chips and gravy. Will go there again.

Rang my order at 7.30pm rang again at 9pm as it hadn't arrived to be told it was the driver that hadn't come back food came 9.15pm food was good but needs better delivery service

Absolutely shocking ordered food at 6:20 waited till 8:30 for them to come so only bring half the food and forgot the kids pizza absolutely fuming and then when rang she rekons she was trying to get home of driver now 9pm with 2 very starving grumpy tired kids ! They hang up the phone on us ! So by the time they bring the pizza the rest of food be cold !!!

I know a great chip shop when I see one, this is one! Great service tonight. I just waited in the car a few minutes while a fresh batch of chips were made and my order was brought out to me while i waited in the comfort of my car. I work in packaging manufacturing and the food packaging was really high quality as was the food. I love to see local business doing things well.

Love the chips and staff are like friends

Ordered over the phone on Saturday afternoon. Once we had paid the lady in the shop said she would bring it out to our car for us,which was a nice touch. The food was hot and very tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. Good value for money.

First purchase was a few weeks ago, outstanding service and the best food I've had the pleasure to buy, this is now our regular takeaway, staff are totally professional, what a great team.

My mother in law booked a buffet for a family get together and the food was lovely and great value for money! Will defo be using for future events.

When I came in I only ordered a can to wait for my lift I have had food from here before and it's good they do nice pizzas friendly staff they let me sit in and just have a can of fanta while I waited for my lift.

Chips were almost cold dry and stale and pie wasn't even warm. And then charged me £2.50 for a can of Coke. First and last time il go there.

Friendly staff. Lots of different sized meals. Considered the best in the area - people come from all around to eat here. Small amount of indoor seating as well as takeaway. WC available for customers. Large car park.

Chicken tikki rolls warmed up from frozen per already dun nice but .not for me ilike fresh made myself and if made fresh why was mine like it come out fridge

Made my first purchase with Munchies a few months ago after seeing advertising on their Facebook, and never gone anywhere else since. The food is out of this world, the “secret family recipe” pizzas are stupendous, the delivery is quick. The driver is brilliant and chatty, a family business which is well run and we will continue to support, the food is levels above anywhere else in this area. 5 ⭐️

Missed food off 1st order, apologised and said driver coming back this way in 20 mins, was ok with that but 1hr 30 second attempt food arrived chips cold, burger very standard nothing special quite dry and tasteless, use to love this place always recommended in the past, overall slow delivery and average food

Food was good, but my 5 piece hotwings mean only came with 4 wings. I would have preferred being able to buy a portion of hotwings without having to do it as a slightly expensive meal (i.e. I would have preferred to be able to pay less and forgo the salad and the drink).

The pizza and chips tasted amazing, I was really impressed. Also the staff were really helpful and polite.

I love this place! I called in on way home from Cardiff and I was still able to have a beautiful fresh cooked cod and chips and the delightful owner even brought my food out to the car. Fantastic food brilliant service.

Really nice people here) but sadly the Best thing about the fish and chips was the box 😫 fish was soggy and splattered over the chips. There was more fish skin than the the batter which cost me around £8) and the pizza my mother couldn’t eat the cheese it was like chewing gum! . The owners need to try there own food👍 Hope this review will him them improve as it such a nice clean place.

Ok. Been here a lot of times spent quite a bit here. Ordered here tonight for a delivery. We phoned through and a nice guy answered. Ordered a hot dog meal, chicken nugget meal, and bacon burger meal, plus onion rings. Bill over the phone was£17 and something pence. Food arrived. Opened door and the boy asked for a extra pound at the door. Why? Because we didnt charge u for a slice of bacon. .......thats ....ok, i gave a pound Opened food. Missing the hot dog meal....ah rite Phoned shop.....they said u didnt order a hotdog. They put the man on who took the order and he said u didnt order that.....ah rite....what the 17 pound for then.....and passed the phone over to a rude woman... To simplify, she wasnt interested, didnt want to resolve anything, and was quite rude. ...........but she got my full card details, expiry date and security number

Ordered from here last night the food come cold and soggy and part of my order missing the delivery driver was at the door for ages counting change. They should of all ready had this sorted.

Treated myself to their big breakfast this morning lives up to the name plenty of food Not greasy,speedy delivery so food was still hot really tasty and a great hangover cure highly recommended thankyou

Ordered for 5.30 came at 5.05 before everyone had arrived. Sent back and came again half an hour later same pizzas. When I complained the lady hung up on me!

Normally love this place! But recently the pizzas have gone all watery.and very soggy. Was one of best pizzas in Gwent one time. Sad😒

Fantastic food best in brynmawr

Well 4 pound for 8 chicken nuggets for a start and 4 pound for a small chips cheese and beans. To be honest money for nouthing not big portions at all.

The food was great, but the fact that it arrived 2 hours after we ordered it just lets it down.

Never ever listen to my order and could not even be botherd to cut my baguette for my hot dog jusy ripped it open. sad because the foos is normally nice wont be goong back again

Friendly service, extremely good prices - low compared to where I've been and really scrumptious chips! Fish was very fresh and the chicken nuggets I got for my Son went down really well - he likes the place, has been there a few times already, it's o my first there, and I give it a real big thumbs up! Go there for your fish and chips!
