Multiple times ordered and a hour later order gets cancelled but thought i would give them another chance but no its happened multiple times way before closing time very disappointed as there food is good but wont be ordering again.
We've been ordering from here for years and never had an issue, unfortunately tonight we were victim to sexism. I placed an order for collection as I usually do and when THEY got it wrong my husband was told to order it next time as 'he would get it right'. Absolutely disgusted at having to write this review as never had an issue like this before but please be mindful when ladies order from here as they obviously prefer to take orders from males
Booked evening meal for a family get together. Having read previous reviews in regards quality of food served at the Hanmer Arms I decided to book. Biggest mistake was relying on these reviews. Ordered a chicken curry by everyone in the party which was of poor quality as it was not a curry but chicken in a black bean sauce.
Will not be returning to this place anytime soon. Not Recommended.
Problem with till waited whilst the lady behind the counter sorted it. All done but lots of talking to other colleagues whilst customers waiting then attitude with customer as she got order wrong and had to put it right. More standing and talking customers still waiting moaning about shifts and managers. Fruit knocked off counter by a child instead of being removed it was all picked up off floor and put back for sale on counter. Really poor experience
If I could rate this a zero, I would, but unfortunately I have to give it something. I’m a local to this McDonald’s, so I’m here quite regular, it’s always been hit and miss with it’s customer service, but this evening really took it over the edge for myself and my mum. We waited in the click and serve for 35 minutes, and the food was nowhere to be seen. I wouldn’t have said anything if it was super busy like other times, but it really wasn’t busy at all. We went inside to ask where our food was, at this point we weren’t best pleased anyways, but the young girl at the till, can I just emphasise ‘young girl’ as well, she was really rude right from the off. She didn’t even acknowledge my mum when she was waiting there at first. My mum (as calm as she could) explained the situation and the girl printed off the car receipt (that had clearly gone through, because it was on the system) and ran to the back. We overheard her saying ‘this is a big order’, which to us, made us think they had misplaced our order. BUT, instead of just coming up to us and explaining this, or even an apology would have been nice, she told us that the order either hadn’t gone through off the phone, or it had been collected already. I had a receipt as proof, it had been paid for and she could see it had been paid for, she told me our money would bounce back into the account because it hadn’t gone through. She then got her phone out (on shift), but then walked over to us and told he she would make our order, ‘just this once’, even though she wasn’t meant to, like she was doing us a favour!!!!!! I told her to leave it, and walked away, as we walked away, my mum told her she would report this higher up, and because she didn’t like what we said, she told us to not return! We walked back to the car, and some other people were talking to us about how rude the staff were, and then suddenly, as if my magic, there was a young girl following us out, about 2 seconds after the previous girl told her the order hadn’t gone through, with our food in a box!! They should go on BGT doing magic with how fast the food appeared!! Absolutele joke, when we did get our food from the other young girl (because it absolutely wasn’t her fault) we emphasised how awful the girl on shift was!! The food was cold when we got it, so it had clearly been sitting there! Lucky for her, we won’t be returning, we would rather travel further up the road than give this McDonald’s our serve again. Worst part about all of this was, she was the ‘shift manager’. Poor poor service, and absolutely appalling staff! And I can only apologise if this has got typos, I’m that naggy writing it, I didn’t even enjoy my McDonald’s after!
I went to Asda, but they closed the checkout at 5.They made me put the food back.And I had to go over the road to Lidl Second time i've had bad service in two weeks
Ordered 2 burgers via just eat at around 1am...come 2am still not arrived 2.15 still nothing and then 2.30 yup you guessed it nothing....2.40am I ring them to see why its taken almost 2.5 hours to cook and deliver 2 burgers. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and obnoxious and hung up on me twice. Last time I rung I asked her to cancel the order as its been 3 hours and would just like a refund. I was told no and got hung up on again. I mean who would go to a restaurant order food and wait 3 hours and still wait and pay. I thought it was FAST food for a reason! Its now 2 days on and I get an email from just eat telling me I can't get a refund because the restaurant said its been delivered. I have just spoke to the very rude manager again and said I would like a refund as you have both my food and money. I was then subject to shouting and swearing down the phone (all of which I have recorded). Hung up on again. I will be going to citizens advice and trading standards over this shocking establishment. Seriously avoid if I could give a zero star I would. Better of throwing your money away to be honest.
My son took big bite and nearly choked as last thing you expect in your wrap is bones. They used 3 small wings in what should of been a chicken strip wrap. Called restaurant and offered a free pizza. Declined, as we didn’t need any more food. Totally dangerous... I understand orders go wrong at times but bones in a wrap that was given to child
WORST PIZZA IN WREXHAM! A pre order came an hour and 15 minutes late. When it arrived it literally stank of a dirty oven. Couldnt eat it. When i complained thet offered to "send a couple of delivery guys" to collect it. Which im assuming was meant to be a threat rather than an offer for a refund as nobody came to collect it and a refund was not offered. Foodhub couldnt assist with the refund and closed down the conversation before i could reply.
Sent us cold food, we sent it back with the driver and when I called the restaurant, I was screamed at down the phone that I was a lying and they are refusing to refund the food!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
