We call in at Skye’s as often as possible , as the food and services is always excellent Last night we tried the evening menu as they have recently purchased a Pizza Oven And we were not disappointed We had starters followed by A Hawaiian Rum soaked Pineapple.. and a Pizza Ortolana Accompanied by a few cocktails Anthony our Server was very professional and Friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him We thought we’d challenge him on his cocktail making skills and thought we’d got him with the Long Island Iced Tea. But .. he came through :) he is a great asset to the restaurant We were not rushed it was a very relaxing enjoyable evening We will most definitely be returning and Highly Recommend anyone heading this way to try it out Thank you Jo and the Team for great food and a lovely evening x

Called in on our was back home visiting all the beaches on the North of Angelsey. Need the loo and oh my clean toilets with a feint smell cleaning products, loo roll a plenty and as I said great clean facilities. The cafe owner is caretaker of these toilets and does a damn fine job which is often overlooked and abused by certain holiday people who use the facilities to empty their facilities from their camper vans keavingbthe loos in a disgusting state for this lady to jeep in top of. It says quite clearly its not allowed but as she said if these people do empty their loos into the public ones CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES! It ruibs it for others and demorilises others hard work ! Rant over. Fantastic clean toilets until some ignorant twonk ruins it! The cafe is well stocked too and reasonably priced ! Great place for a pit stop 😁

As we were attending the Amlwch Christmas Festival we needed a base close to the action and the Dinorben Arms fitted the brief perfectly, as it is positioned in the Dinorben square opposite St Eleths church which was playing host to the Christmas tree dressing competition, we arrived on the Friday night the day before the A.C.F. so that we would be nice and fresh for the big day. We took the bar for a night cap in the well stocked bar with all the usual spirt's to be found and some nicely chilled draught beers I also found out that my partner now has a new fave drink Brandy and coke thanks to meeting up with some of our friends and with that it was of to bed. The following morning we met Gary one half of a dynamic double act Veronica being the other who in the words of Tina Turner is :Simply the Best better than all the rest: and you are left in no doubt they know what it takes to look after there guest’s. Any way back to Gary who has to be one of the best chefs around for our breakfast was not only cooked to order nice and fresh just how I like it but the quality of the sausage, bacon, smooth black pudding, close cupped mushroom, beans, grilled tomato, and fried egg. All served with tea or coffee and fresh orange juice, on the side I had toast which I popped in the toaster myself which is great I wish all hotels would follow this way of doing it so no cold toast excellent and a choice of jam’s from all the top brands no rubbish here so full marks to Gary and the team, Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself how nice this Breakfast was. And so with breakfast now done it was time to face the day and what a day it was, Grisly rain met us at the door but some how that did not seem to matter as we were there for the day come what may, Now at this point it was becoming quite clear to us that Veronica is more than just a Hotelier she knows people!!!! no not in that way but in a great way she took one look at the sky and the rain and declared this is not going to stop us we will still have a great day and she was right. In Amlwch there is a great community spirit and at the hart of that community is The Dinorben Arms so much so that on a Sunday the only place to go for a Carvery is you have guessed it The Dinorben Arms now we didn’t know when we booked our stay about this world famous carvery but word soon got to us that we needed to try it so I can not tell you how lucky we were to get a table because if I said to you these words You Need To Book In Advance I mean it !!!! the place was full as is the norm because the choice of food was second to none with four meats to choose from Ham, Beef, Pork, Turkey All the vegetable's you can think off but I just need to mention 2 which made it very special for me cabbage with real cream and mushy peas these I have not found anywhere else on a carvery Excellent. So with that our stay was complete and we needed to bid our farewell to Gary Veronica and the team at The Dinorben Arms with a resounding we will be back you can bet on it. So if you ever have the good fortune to visit Anglesey then I would definitely Amlwch and The Dinorben Arms Kind Regards Adrian Horn

This pub is very much a work in progress, recently taken over by Rob, a local guy. A friendly welcome awaits you here, where you can watch the football and enjoy a range of beers and lagers. As a regular visitor to Amlwch its a great place to relax and unwind after a day's fishing or walking.

Popped in for a drink. Friendly and efficient Bar staff. Great Juke box. Sky sports on a huge screen. Very reasonably priced drinks. It was a Monday so fairly quiet. Recommended.

Only place open for a coffee after a walk. Service was really slow just for 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Flat white was not- just a weak coffee with froth ontop. We sat inside and regretted it as it was ridiculously stuffy and table tops sticky. Dog friendly - again, which irritates me as not all if us wish to share eating space with canines. While we were waiting another customer cane in and added I'd it would help I'd he made his own tea?!! Terrible service. The millionaires shortbread was very good but that's about it
