Amlwch Kebab House in Isle of Anglesey

Working away and found this place and wow one of the best kebabs I have had shared a house special kebab with my mate and all the meat was 👌🏻 well worth a visit

Amlwch kebab house is a fantastic takeaway situated on the Isle of Anglesey. The staff are extremely friendly and very happy to explain options on the menu to us. We ordered the Amlwch special kebab and Amlwch special pizza, along with a small portion of chips. We were given a free garlic bread pizza with our order which was a very nice surprise! The Amlwch special kebab was out of this world. It was hot, very tasty and the portion size was fantastic. The Amlwch special pizza was well loaded with toppings and cheese. The small portion of chips was very generous (see picture!) which is unusual for most kebab shops! Prices were excellent compared to others we regularly visit and cash only was a nicety to support local business. Highly recommended.

Friendly service. Shared the special kebab with my son and was the best we’ve ever had. Problem is we’re 3 hours away and now you have ruined other kebabs 😭

Can’t complain apart from we had way too much food! Real value for money and all cooked fresh whilst you wait. Service was efficient and with a smile. I want to go a second night but we needed up in a different village. Keep it up guys 👍🏻👍🏻

Wanted to get the food delivered but was not available so picked up the food, the food was hot, but not very tasty, quite oily and bland very disappointing

Consistently poor quality, over priced and bad service. I will never go there again. AVOID Nothing more needed to be said.

Asked for chicken kebab and salad without bread (as I can’t eat bread due to allergies..)with mild chilli and garlic Mayo..received chicken kebab in pitta with no sauce =inedible!!!! And not for the first time!!!! I will not be returning. For some reason they take pride in speed calls, without listening properly to the correct order..would be great food if they could just listen to the order! Couldn’t even be bothered driving back down for correct order as we live out of Amlwch…real shame and a total waste of money!

Stumbled across this takeaway and delighted we did. Staff very friendly, service was quick and the pizzas were superb. Would happily recommend and will return the next time we are in Anglesey. Please note it is a cash only. There is a cash machine two minutes walk away opposite an “interesting” pub.

Ordered kabab and chicken kabab. Mmmmm so tasty might even go back tomorrow!

Not to bad the foods a bit greasy and well over priced for a kebab and chips. Problem is small town so you have to make do.

The most amazing takeaway I've been in. We called our order for 6 adults, 2 kids through & collected quickly. Whilst there, the three guys didn't stop & customers were in and out constantly.... Not tattoos affected the food which was absolutely amazing. We'll def go again if back in Almwch.

Chose to go here as it had good reviews and was so pleased we did . I had the mixed kebab with doner meat , shish kebab and kofta. It has to be one of best I've ever had . Not cheap but will end up doing 2 meals so cost ok !! Highly recommended.

Ordered a large chicken kebab and a mixed kebab. The takeaway is spotless and staff friendly and helpful. The kebabs had good sized pieces of chicken and lamb and plenty of them. Tasty and worth the money

Vraiment tres bon et accueillant les portions etaient bien copieuses et toute la famille s est regalée.

The kebabs where nice.but the price was a bit expensive.but it is classed as a holiday area.so you are going to pay more two kebabs and two cans Fanta £18.00.🤔🤔🤔 put nice .can't say anything bad about the food.

Doner meat just tasted of salt. Been taken over, seriously not good. Plus now overpriced. Wont be going back. Even with fuel prices will drive to llangefni. Seriously salt burns its that salty

Pizzas are on the thick side, and a bit greasy bit as it's the only shop in town I'd probably order again its not awful. Kebabs looked nice to be fair

Food is great, never had an issue with it. Little bit overpriced and have heard they have a rep for giving wrong change/overcharging.

Oh those pizzas are too nice. Had to put the diet off again! Lovely donnas as well. The small seems to be the same amount as the large though and more than I can manage and I've got a big appetite! Not worth the extra money.

Top food, very pleased. All fresh, one of the best kebabs I've had. Got a small one but it was still loaded with fresh toppings and lots of meat underneath. We also ordered 2 pizzas and a cheese burger. Everyone impressed with the quality and it was nice and hot.

Was proper good scran, filled me right up! As you can see from the photo they even gave me a free pack of Capri suns which I am over the moon about!!

No social distancing ,4 to 5 staff not wearing masks . No screens between customers and staff. Poor ventilation some customers no masks .

The place to go to for a first class Kebab, also they make the best fish and chips in the local area. The staff are friendly and the service is quietly efficient. The extensive menu should satisfy most tastes and everything is cooked fresh and to order.

I bought a kebab one time and found a bone in the Donna meat and I almost had to got to the hospital because my meat was raw

Kofti kebab was absolutely delicious and staff very helpful with lactose intolerance questions.

We opted for a mixed kebab, we are here visiting and looking for a quick bite on a rainy day, read reviews and they stated best in anglesey however there is no other kebab shops around so this will be why it is the best. It is ok (personal opinion). Staff are friendly, but my downfall was the donner meat comes out of a boiling dish so is quite watery. However the lamb was beautiful, the kofte kebab meat could use more flavour however the water from donner meat had reduced some flavour as was all quite soggy due to this. Definitely go for chicken or lamb avoid the donner meat!

Ordered a lamb kebab, supposedly lamb fillet, it was chewy, full of fat and gristle and totally unedible, complete waste of money! The guy taking the order was a complete misery, no please or thank you, certainly lacking in manners! I'm absolutely 100% certain of where I bought the lamb "fillet"kebab, opposite Parys News!!

The food was amazing, very well priced. Would recommend. I had the chicken kebab it was amazing, the pepperoni pizza is also very good! Highly recommend.

My family love a takeaway and this is one of the best we have gone to. Called through the order both times and was ready when they said. Went twice in our weeks holiday, the first time we ordered our standard amount but there was loads, which is not a negative. So the next time we ordered less. Happy both times. Only negative is that they had no mint yogurt sauce!

What a great place to get a takeaway from. The kids and the good lady her indoors had the cheeseburger while I had the very tasty chicken kebab. Very nice indeed and we were all stuffed afterwards thanks to the great portions we were given. Friendly staff and fairly priced. Will definitely visit here again when we are back in the area. Well worth checking out.

Over for the week on holiday and trust me this is the place to eat if you are looking for good food. Myself and my parter got pizza twice in one week it was that nice. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and polite. I highly recommend coming here if you want great food 👍

Thought id try here as reviews were saying its really good and never had a bad meal and its really tasty...I have never been here before until today and l when i went in and started talking about what i wanted...i wasnt greeted very politely by the one of the staff. The lad from london i was chatting to on the other hand was sound and very helpful. I ordered a lamb shish for me, a cheeseburger for the mrs and 1 large chips to share... We didnt like the chips could hardly taste the salt an vinegar but could smell it... The cheeseburger was bland and quite tasteless so we didnt like that either... And the lamb shish didnt have a nice lamby taste and was just all fat... And satisfying me didnt work as i was greeted rudely and i didnt feel welcome and the foods horrible ... just being honest! Others have said the food here is poor and then the replies to bad reviews say pop round we will make it up to you...as in get some freebies im guessing...but people dont want them an wont pop back around for you to make it up because the foods horrible quality thats exactly why they have left a review saying that!!! Customers must be on dope and have munchies and they say its good.. They are either stoned or have bad taste...Or both...

Not ever been great. But increased prices and not been very nice when ordered in person or on the phone. Only got a decent pizza when a neighbor ordered and she's a long time customer. Very rude and should probably close with that attitude!!! Now been banned for posting a negative review after being told I'm 'trying to see them out of business' !!!

Disgusting customer service both times. Thought the first time was bad but gave it a 2nd chance. I made a negative review and was subsequently banned from the premises. So much for being honest! Food OK, a bit bland... Customer service was atrocious and I'm now banned for making an honest review! Wouldn't recommend at all!
