Went to Molly’s for Sunday dinner and it was the best I’ve had in a long time! Setting is nice, staff very friendly and the carvery was delicious. We will definitely be back!!

Suarez makes the best kebabs - not just in Caernarfon, not just in North Wales, but probably in the whole world. The bread is the best bit - home made and cooked in front of you - and far better value than anywhere else. A must visit.

Apparently they have moved to new premises and you can understand why: the food for lunch is excellent, so much choice from the deli, and the staff are great. We sat at one of the last free tables in the window and the owner/manager recommended two of the daily ciabatta freshly made options and we had those - ham with cheese and relish (hot) and beef with cheese and horseradish - both delicious. Also had a coffee and some carrot cake. Really enjoyed it and the steady flow of customers suggests we were not alone in our thinking. We bought some goods from the well stocked deli.

Incredibly diverse establishment! we went for dinner which is a new venture for Su and were gobsmacked by the amazingly flavoured Thai Green Curry, Spring Rolls which we accompanied with some amazing cocktails (virgin). Even the side salad was delicious! You can enjoy music here on Thursday nights and gigs, coffee and cake in the day and even stay at the bunkhouse! Great diversity of guests and locals. An interesting place to have an encounter with Cymraeg and the wonderful world of Cofis Dre but in a sophisticated atmosphere surrounded by Su's artworks. 11/10

This small cafe caught our eye as it advertised savoury crepes, and lots of them. We sat outside on a chilly February lunchtime in the sun and perused the myriad of fillings. I chose pear, fig and blue cheese. The sweet pancake arrived covered in pear, with some deliciously squishy figs and a few walnut sprinkles. And the tiniest 4 smidges of blue cheese (not even a teaspoon worth). Overall the pancake was tasty, but really needed a proper helping of cheese to give it a balanced flavour; as it was, it was just a pear (sweet) pancake really. Prices are reasonable and the young servers were friendly and efficient.

The best pizza outside Naples. It’s what they do and not much more. Proper wood fired oven, excellent ingredients and friendly, fast service. Check opening hours as closed some days and booking essential as the local folk know a great place and flock there

One of our favourite bars in the area when visiting our caravan , called today for a drink and food to be told that the kitchen is now closed and they no longer serve food , sadly I feel it could be the end for the bar unless someone takes it on , it would normally be busy at lunchtime but it was empty
