Visited with 7 adults and one child - absolutely fantastic little gem. The only thing I was disappointed with is that I have not visited sooner. Some members has the roast dinner some steaks and some burgers and everyone really enjoyed the meal. Hosts are very friendly exceptional value and will definitely be returning soon.

We ordered a sandwich for lunch and it was literally 2 slices of bread with egg mayo in it. There was no garnish, no crisps or salad. It looked so pathetic served on a large plate. My mother in law and I were so disappointed as we had passed lots of lovely cafes to go there. It cost £14 for the 2 egg sandwiches and 2 coffees. We werethe only customers at 2pm so I guess that says a lot. I would avoid lunch here unless you have a tiny appetite!

Absolutely stunning food, amazing atmosphere and extremely welcoming staff. We were recommended Glasfryn and it definitely did not disappoint. It was exceptionally busy, we had to ask for the ,emu but that was the only negative during our visit. The staff were very helpful and chatty and even spent time to fuss over our dog. The atmosphere was great and we met some lovely people. We will definitely be back!

Just had a fabulous meal at The Boot Inn at Northop . Went with my partner and my Sister and chose the two course set meal served on a Monday to Wednesday priced at £13.99 . Didn’t expect to be wowed with food at such a bargain price but full menu had loads of choice at very reasonable prices too so gave it a go ! Well what can I say ! Wowed we definately were ! The food arrived as a very substantial portion , we girls chose scampi and my partner chose the sausage and mash offering with Yorkshire pudding or onion rings . The 10 scampi were nestled in a bed of mixed salad and fresh leaves accompanied with 2 small dishes of peas and tartare sauce and THE Most DELICIOUS chips I have ever eaten since my grandma made them for me 60 years ago !! They were amazing . No frozen rubbish here , Real chips made fresh from real potatoes and all different sizes . Crispy, tasty and everyone a gem ! Fries and skin ons were avaliable if you prefer but why would you lol !! Main course was followed by our 3 chosen desserts of strawberry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and cherry sundae all beautifully presented and served with a smile by the young dedicated staff who helped make our evening just perfect ! Will definitely be back . Thank you all so much . Great food well presented and cheerfully served at such great value for money is hard to find these days . Thank you all ! We will be back !

This pub has recently changed hands and being only about a mile from home we thought we'd give it a try. We booked for a Wednesday night which we discovered is quiz night. We arrived and parked, there is ample parking in front of the pub. We were asked on arrival if we were going to take part in the quiz when I said no we were shown to a table in a quieter area. The menu was basic pub food with a few nice additions, after ordering the food arrived quickly and was well cooked and presented. My two niggles and the reason the pub didn't score higher is that the area we were seated in was a bit chilly and the total lack of draught beer with only w Worthington smooth flow and Guinness on keg
