The cross keys served one of the best Sunday roast around Flintshire. Everything is fresh products. Excellent value for money. Only wish they would do a smaller Sunday roast for a smaller appetite. Then I could have a started and dessert which are all absolutely to die for. Great choice, lovely presentation and most importantly the landlords, staff and not forgetting the great chef are all amazing. Keep up serving one of Flintshire best Sunday lunches. Also your main menu is superb to.

This pub/restaurant is a gem just off the A55 in Northop. It is an attractive building in a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is well cooked and presented. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meals which included the Gammon Steak and the Beef Lasagne - all well received. If you haven't visited this place before, give it a try!

This restaurant is inconsistent at best. They know how to produce a good meal but they also allow poor value, badly cooked food cold food to be served. The meal I had was shocking value that surely the kitchen staff and waiting staff would have noticed. I had what was laughingly called a venison haunch hot pot. Portion size was a joke and the veg an insult. If all you can serve is half a cold carrot than do the right thing and remove it from the menu. Deserts were overpriced and measly. As for the waiting staff there weren't enough or those that were there were not capable of managing such a large room. The bar ran out of no less than three beers. I was told that these would be back on with in the hour meaning that the issue was poor management rather than actually running out of beer.
