Excellent food and excellent hosts cannot fault anything!

Disappointing food for what we expected. Dry beef patty and bacon for the burger and uninspiring gammon steak. The soup and halloumi fries were tasty. However, expected more for a 4.8 star-rated pub. Maybe the chef had a day off?

Called early doors, still pub full. Dining the young lady service was fantastic, very attentive. Food hot. yes will call again.

Lovely village pub, couple of ales along with good Guinness and plenty of choice for anyone. Going back for food as it looked really good

An absolute gem 💎 came across this fab place by accident, due to volume of traffic on our trip. Fabulous atmosphere, fabulous food, the best pub dinner ever !!! Looking forward to re-visiting again in the future.

I recently had Sunday lunch with my family. We were a party of 7. Excellent food and service, good selection of beers. Very friendly owners, Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.

Never visited until this afternoon, for a quick pint, , immediately felt comfortable with a great atmosphere. Will call again, hopefully for food. Which has great reviews.

Best Sunday lunch out ever. Food was hot nicely presented and a polite you g waiter. Highly recommended but I wouldn't have a two course meal there again as it was too much.

Not been here for a long time and wasn't disappointed on this visit. Great food and great beer from Facers which is a local brewery. Will certainly be visiting again soon.

Had a fabulous meal here on 20/01/2024. Wonderful Gf options for me which is so refreshing as I've recently been diagnosed with coeliacs. Staff couldn't be more friendly and efficient. Definitely on the return list. Highly recommended.

Just had a family pre Christmas get together! The staff, atmosphere, service, food and prices are exceptional. Cannot fault anything about our visit today. There were 8 of us in our party. We were all served at the same time and the food was piping hot with a wonderful variety of fresh vegetables. Excellent all round experience.

Amazing meal..we had salmon,chicken and the gammon and all ate every bit..delicious!!

First time visit following a recommendation and keeping business closer to home to support local businesses . Had family main courses of steak, chicken and gammon and deserts of cheesecakes and chocolate brownies The food was FAULTLESS. Truly beautiful. I even made a point of going to the kitchen to compliment the chef Any readers please give this place a try. I will definitely be booking a return YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

We walked in, the first thing that we noticed was the atmosphere was friendly, We sat down and organised the menus. There was gluten free options and Gf items on the main menu. We had amazing starters olive and bread and oils one gf one non gf. They were well aware of the gf that they brought it out separately. (Sorry no pics we were hungry) Main menus we both had chicken burger gluten free first photo second non gluten free cajun chicken burger amazing but a bit spicy 😄 Amazing place well worth a visit, lovely traditional features mixed with modern decor.

We just turned up hoping to get some food. Despite being fully booked, they managed to accommodate us and the food and service were first class. We would definitely pay another visit. Highly recommended. 👌

Visited on a Thursday evening, lovely pub atmosphere with restaurant tables in separate area. Service was very good and the menu has something to suit everyone. Food looked and tasted amazing, very good value for money. I would visit again.

What an absolutely amazinging place. Attended a 60th birthday party there on Saturday. Fabulous food and service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We all had a fabulous night. Will definitely be going back again really soon. How lucky to have such a fabulous place to call your local

I would highly recommend this pub. Staff are absolutely amazing and we receive amazing service every time, they make sure I have enough room for my pram too. The food is wonderful quality and everything is freshly made. My sister has a nut allergy and the owner made sure she was able to have a dessert without the nuts on. They always go the extra mile and nothing is ever too much for them. 10/10!

My husband and I had a Sunday lunch today at the Cross keys in Sychden, my husband had the pork and I had the turkey for £10 each, and I must say it was very good value for money, tasty and piping hot on arrival, the land lady was very friendly and helpful and jolly, the waitress that served us was very tentative and professional and the pub was very nicely decorated and very clean, we will most definitely be returning and I would most definitely recommend it thank you

Great for a few drinks. Sat outside in the marquee which was warm with the heaters on. Some local ale on draught, served well, is always a winner.

Staying at the Cross Keys Barns this evening and I can honestly say what a lovely place. Apartment is modern, clean and well equipped. Just eaten in the pub next door. Forgot to take picture of my main but my starter was delicious!!! Now to relax with a nice glass of Merlot. The owners Dawn & Gareth are very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely recommend and I will be staying longer.

Very friendly landlord who knows how to keep his ale.

Had a meal with my partner on 20th October and oh my god, what a find! The food was fantastic and damn good value too. The landlady was attentive and friendly and had a very good knowledge of her extensive gin selection. Can’t praise the place highly enough and look forward to going back!

Called by chance as we were in the area visiting family. What a find, a beautiful Sunday meal. A good choice on the menu and well presented. A cosy pub feel to this place with welcoming staff. And the food was delicious. We shall come again and perhaps to stay next time.

Visited The Cross Keys with my family for Sunday dinner. We received a very warm welcome by both the bartender and our waitress. The lunch was nicely presented and very enjoyable! I would describe The Cross Keys as cosy, welcoming and family friendly, particularly for diners. Free wifi is available on request but coverage is not available in all areas of the restaurant. We would most definitely visit again when travelling through this area! Thank you!

We really enjoy the Cross Keys, always a warm welcome, nice selection of beers and wine... including some ‘Real Ale’. The menu har a good range of food. You can have simple bar food or something more fancy. Your choice, but whatever we have eaten here has been delicious and served relatively quickly. We enjoy this pub!!!

Found this little gem by accident looking for another pub, glad I popped in, a warm welcome by the land lady and a couple of locals. Food was excellent and the prices were pritty cheap. If I'm in the area again will definitely pop in again.

Management superb!! Frequent often, but only for drinks!! A village pub that we need to keep in business, too many closing, sorry, no photo!!

Drove past this pub for years and only went in tonight, well what a find, the food was exceptional and the service by Dawn the landlady was very nice and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back.
