Had a meal here this evening with my friend before we went into Theatre for The Drifters Show. I was very disappointed with my Thai Green Chicken Curry. It looked like green slop but I though it might taste ok so I started eating it. Unfortunately most of my chicken pieces were pink or not cooked through so I left most of my meal. I didn't make a fuss as I didn't want to cause any embarrassment to my friend or make a scene as the restaurant was very busy. I certainly won't be ordering that again. Dessert and service was excellent.

Lovely place and location with a beautiful view from the terrace, food and service was excellent for a family of 5 adults 2 children and a dog, good range of food and very pleasant friendly staff, prices ranging from £15-25 on mains, very good portion sizes.

Dog poo in the garden area yet again! I’ve reported this every time and it’s disappointing that yet again trying to find a space for the children to play that isn’t scattered with dog poo! Obviously not maintained or checked every day as this is one of many visits. The girls that wait on always very lovely. The lady in charge didn’t seem to be bothered when I reported to her and no apologies. Shame.

Lovely place . We only popped in for a couple of drinks and let the kids play in the play area. They have smart pods with TVs and heaters too Beer good prices also And we were served with a smile Definitely visit again 10/10.

What a shame. Having read the reviews and been using the pub with only a few incidents for some time. Today was a bitter disappointment. One off pint, had bits floating at the bottom, not even a keg ale, took to the bar and asked the barman about it, I ordered another pint and a load of abuse. No other members of staff present at the time. Dirty glasses, dirty toilets, paint peeling from the walls, generally very poorly managed. Will never return

We discovered Faenol Fawr Country House Hotel & Restaurant when visiting the adjacent Glan Clwyd hospital, Bodelwyddan. Initially calling in for a coffee and then coming back for Sunday lunch which was what we would describe as good unpretentious food, nicely cooked and presented and very good value. Staff were all pleasant and attentive. We'll certainly come again. It stands in extensive grounds not far from the landmark 'marble church' . Faenol Fawr has an impressive history: built circa 1597 when James I was on the throne of England. It has Civil War connections and it's reputed Oliver Cromwell stayed/visited.

The food is excellent, one of the best if not the best Chinese takeaways I have visited only been there twice because it's along way from where we live , but saying that it would be worth booking into a hotel for the night just to have a meal from there. The lady serving behind the counter is very jolly and pleasant , can't wait to go there again.

Lovely place! Called for lunch - food was excellent (although a bit pricey) Only fault, extremely understaffed! - only 2 ladies working, one behind the counter and the other serving tables. This meant lots of dirty uncleared tables which doesn't look nice, and they both looked overwhelmed!
