The best restaurants in Mid Wales

Unbelievable experience as the awards would suggest. Mid thirties courses (lost count). Some of the best ingredients you can get cooked with precision. This was just delicious! Be sure to pace yourself if drinking alcohol it’s a long one. The room we had on site was also fantastic. Would highly recommend as a one off experience.

Food was good quality cooked lovely , tasted great but a bit on the light side , had a rack of ribs tasted great but tiny really , staff were friendly and very good service nice pub just need a bit more on the plate

Amazing food, we had starters mains and drinks for 2 & it come to £35 it was the best Thai we've had (and we've had a few) the whiskey chicken is amazing, I had the chu chi with chicken and pineapple with sticky rice, sooooo good, the satay gai ( satey chicken) is melt in the mouth good, we left a £15 tip, so underrated, I would definitely return xx

Got puncture this morning and can't get replacement until tomorrow...so nothing else to do than wait and have beer! Found this bar, very friendly atmosphere and felt very welcome. Would highly recommend!

Travelling from Merseyside to Tenby we stumbled on Jacks cafe, We ordered 4 meals, all were lovely, reasonably priced , we would highly recommend.

This has been one of our favourite spots for the last couple of years, but distinctly off the boil at dinner today. My wife is coeliac and the GF focaccia is usually a highlight - unfortunately quite dry and did not seem particularly fresh today. The seafood linguine was far less flavoursome than previous dinners. Not sure if it was an off night/different chefs (we've met the head chef at a couple of prior dinners, she seems wonderful, and the food on those occasions has been awesome.) Staff seemed slightly. Fingers crossed it's back to the usual standards next time!

Absolutely delicious ice cream. Is not melty like regular ice cream. Lush and delicious flavours. Highly recommend the raspberry and pomegranate.

There was a lovely atmosphere in the bar. The waiting staff where bubbly and helpful. The menu was big change from the last time we visited, unfortunately the food didn't wow us, it was pleasant, everything thing was hot and served promptly but it did taste amazing, sorry we won't be rushing back.

This was a very quirky delightful hotel. The landlord and his grandson couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. Would certainly recommend
