Mannucci’s Italian Restaurant in Ceredigion

.Came unexpectedly and what a treat, food was divine, and the staff especially (assuming he's the manager) the manager was so friendly and welcoming to all his customers. Me and my husband will be back without a doubt

Fantastic, one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at, though the glass box is a bit chilly the patio heaters work really well. The owner is fantastic and my parents loved it so much they made us come back two nights running and they’re going for Pizza for lunch tomorrow !

Awful - Bland food - rude owners - canteen seating. Do yourself a favour and save yourself over £50 and eat elsewhere. At no point did we ask for anything free from the restaurant. In fact I waited nearly 20 minutes for the bill and actually had to get up to go and pay it so i could leave. Attached is the response to a review post on tripadvisor where the owner got overly upset with some constructive criticism and became personal as he ranted on. The food had here was bland. Nothing to do with palate. It was tasteless and poorly constructed. The pizza base was also soggy couldnt even get that right. The service is slow and when you do say something, the staff blame the customers for not liking their food. They offer nothing to make the poor experience better. This business makes no apologies to customers and their no indication that they wish to improve. Avoid.

We have been to Manuccis a few times now and have had different dining groups each time. From a cheeky lunch date, a family lunch, and a girls night out all my trips to Manuccis have been fantastic. The food is great, and it feels like nothing is too much trouble. The staff are hard working and always friendly and inviting, and the cocktails are fabulous. Highly recommend Manuccis for any event you are planning.

Linzi and staff went above and beyond to make sure mum and dad had the best golden anniversary meal ever. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing , made you feel welcome from the start. Thank you Linzi and thank you to all the staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Darren

A little hidden gem of a restaurant in cardigan! Here with family on holiday, recommended to us by a local. Staff were so friendly, it’s dog friendly outside and they even gave him a blanket to sit on! And gave our toddler some crayons and paper to colour, and something underrated but they have toddler cutlery! We had pizza and it was stunning!! Will definitely come here again whenever we are in the area!

Been a few times now, always try something different and never disappointed - Pizzas are delicious but the tuscan chicken was amazing !! Little taste of 🇮🇹 Italy. Exceptional attention to detail, the venue is decorated beautifully and feels like a trattoria in southern Italy. Food is generous, we tried the antipasti which was delicious, the mussels which were amazing and the seafood linguine which was very tasty. Beautiful Italian desserts as well followed by lemonchello. Very tasty. Stunning restaurant

Great little Italian Restaurant, if you haven't been yet the food is Amazing, never been disappointed yet an the Menu has a nice variety too. Staff very friendly and nothing is to much trouble , excellent customer service. Ohhh an the atmosphere is lovely too nice decor feels as if ur in a piece of Italy while nice Italian music playing in the background. Can't wait to visit again ...

What a lovely restaurant. It took me back to Italy. My partner and I had no reservation but we managed to squeeze in last night. It being Valentine's Day, we were lucky. We were made to feel welcome and the cozy but bustling atmosphere was lush. We quickly ordered drinks and food. Nearly 35mins later our starter still had not arrived. The lovely lady named Karen served us. She came over to see if we had received any of our food. We had not. She explained the there was a glitch in the system and we were offered a complimentary drink on the house while we waiting for our meal. Nice touch!!! We had the prawns to start which were absolutely divine. I could have had four servings on my own. I had an amazing cocktail. I think it was the strawberry spritz . The mains came out and I found it really disappointing. Especially after a wait. We both ordered the steak. Presentation was not great at all. The steak was not rested enough so when it came out it bled all over the plate. The steak was covered with the creamy sauce, when mixed with the bleeding steak it looked like a pink peppercorn sauce. My partner is not particularly fussy but he too said the same but being a farmer he will eat anything. The steak was really tough too. One of the waiters noticed that I was failing to eat and offered me a freshly cooked meal. I politely declined. I'd lost my appetite. My partner took my meal home. Presentation could be improved on the steak in my opinion. I would like to take the time to compliment all the staff especially Karen. What a great team. Everyone was lovely. Thank you. We will be back. Maybe try the seafood linguine as it looked delicious. Despite a few hiccups we enjoyed. xxx

Wonderful meal and great service

We’ve eaten here so many times and do our family and friends - table of 12 tonight having 3 courses for a 30th birthday they take the birthday cake off and say it’s not their policy to let you take a birthday cake - no one said that when I booked and paid a deposit of £130 we will not be returning

Absolutely fantastic food. The tortellini was out of this world, the bisque was superb and the seafood stuffing in the pasta was awesome. They especially made a different bisque for one our party as she has a cream allergy. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely recommend for people who love Italian food. Thank you. Take a bow 👏 I live half an hour away from this restaurant and have heard nothing but good things about it. We decided to give it a try last week and it really lives up to the hype. It’s a great atmosphere from being welcomed as you come through the door to the moment you leave. Great team of people, great food, great venue. If you’re thinking of visiting Mannucci’s, do it! You will not be disappointed. It was actually cheaper than I expected too and the food was sooooo good. You go to some places and you remember the price a month after, but not the food, with Mannucci’s you’ll be talking about the food for a month and telling people to visit and not even think of the price. Travelled from West Sussex to Cardigan. This is our first night and visited mannuccis. Simply the BEST Italian meal I’ve had in the uk and also in Italy. Brilliant service and fantastic food. Pricing also very reasonable. Thank you

It was our first visit with friends who had been before and had recommended the restaurant. At first I was knocked back with the noise and how busy it was. I and our group had to wait as our table wasn't ready but was able to sit down dead on 7, our booking time. It was so noisy we had great difficulty hearing our waitress so she had to write down our specials and food that was unavailable, the latter being a lot that our friend asked for what was actually available! Drinks arrived and eventually food. The starters 3 of 4 were fine but the squid, which were small bits and tough. The main courses again, 3 of 4 were fine but additional potatoes were unavailable as they had run out. The 4th meal mussels, was very disappointing. They were various sizes which resulted in the smaller ones being extremely tough, overcooked and several not opening. Three Desserts ordered 2 only available. One cocktail ordered with double expresso coffee, cocktail delivered but no expresso coffee! I'm sorry to say I was disappointed as was my partner and I'm not sure if I will visit again.

Really disappointed on 3rd visit. Table booked for 14:30, once arrived and seated. First thing kitchen closing what do you want!. Hadn't even got a menu. Stated table booked for half two. Was told computer gilch. Stated that was not our issue, got drinks & ordered. Bringing friends on their first visit, they thought menu limited. Half way through eating was asked, do you want dessert as kitchen closed now. Said that is second time been told about kitchen and all of us were not impressed. We were going to spend a fair amount of money by ordering bottles of wine, spend few hours there. Now we won't be returning. Did advise the lady when she came to clear the dishes. She was extremely apologetic. But was too late.

Wonderful evening. Great staff, amazing food. The outside terrace is lovely and warm. Watching the staff skip off home looking happy says it has to be good to work there. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely fantastic food. Lasagne was as good as I've ever tried, Pizza's for the other half and the children were again incredible. Staff get the level of attentiveness spot-on, not too little, not too much. Already looking forward to coming back.

One of the first things that strikes you as you walk past the substantial olive trees that adorn the entrance of Manucci's Italian restaurant is that they are pleased to see you. Unlike a large number of eating establishments in Cardigan it is obvious that they care a great deal about their guests and the service is attentive the minute you come to the door. There are two seating options - either outside in the fresh air on the terrace (super-warm heaters available), or upstairs in a cosy room complete with pink-blossomed tree. Both of these venues transport the guest into a different place, and you forget that you're on Cardigan High St in an instant. As the name suggests, Manucci's is an Italian restaurant. Expect classics such as super-generous pizzas, as well as hearty pasta dishes (bottomless carbonara). I opted for 'spaghetti aglio e olio' (oil and garlic), and as a seasoned carbon loader struggled to eat everything. My mother chose 'Pollo al Toscanese' (Tuscan Chicken) - several sizeable chunks of chicken on a thick creamy sauce of tomatoes and potatoes. Other members of our group were amazed at the generous size of the portions provided. We looked with envy as bowls of seafood linguine passed by, skilfully carried by the front of house staff on locally-carved wooden bowls and platters filled to the brim with pasta and seafood in a thick bisque. Regardless of the size of the portions there's always room for a small dessert and, as with the main course, it did not disappoint. Pana cotta, tiramisu and even an incredibly rich chocolate dessert were devoured with glee. Sitting outside on the terrace means that you're in the thick of the action - either watching the world go by in Cardigan (usually an interesting spectacle at the weekends as fancy-dressed hen parties pose for photos outside) or enjoying the atmosphere among other diners and friendly banter with the staff. All good things must come to an end and alas it was time to pay the bill. In true Italian style the blow was softened by a sweet offering of limoncello shots (lemonade shots for the children) made to the restaurant's own recipe in a local distillery. Could it be any more authentic. The overall feeling of visiting Manucci's is that you've been on a mini-holiday while feeling right at home...

Booked a table for a small group before my wedding. The service was fantastic! The staff were so lovely & friendly, even gave us a few extras as it was a special occasion. The food… was fantastic! Best pizza in Cardigan hands down! We had a wonderful evening. Thank you so much & we look forward to coming back again! I normally add photos but I was having such a lovely time I completely forgot to take any, apologies!

MAMMA MIA what a find, I think it was the owner I spoke to who said he had been all over the world and in hospitality all his life starting at 14.Well it absolutely showed.The service was faultless and the food STUNNING. I cant wait to return and try out more from the menu.Also great that you can book online.

What a Fantastic little restaurant! Went with friends on a lovely summer's evening...we could have been on the Italian Riviera!!! The decor is classic Italian, the food is Amazing, the staff are excellent and the Owner is FAB😃 Can't wait to come here agai with my husband. Unfortunately I only remembered to take photos last minute, hence only desserts and a complimentary shot of Amarretto (they were waiting a new supply of Limoncelllo from Italy!) The desserts photographed are Tiramisu, White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake, Cherry Frangipan Tartlet.

What a fantastic little gem of a place. We knew from the first time dining here, we would be back again before our holiday was over. The food is delicious. I had the Lasagne the first time and Tortelli the second. Both meals I couldnt fault, full of flavour. The staff are amazing very friendly. The setting with the music is almost as if you are actually in Italy sitting on a terrace. Would highly recommend to anyone 👌.

Absolutely beautiful building with amazing food and even better staff!! My parents went for their anniversary the week before and both recommended it so my partner and I went. Quick service! We were in and out in an hour and were left completely satisfied. Would definitely go again and recommend it to other people too

This restaurant is an absolute gem! Cheerful, happy and attentive staff welcomed us and guided us through the authentic but creative menu. The preparation and presentation of the food was wonderful whilst maintaining a thoroughly authentic but modern Italian style. The quality of the fare was also superb, delicious from the first taste to the last bite. We can’t speak highly enough about our experience at Mannucci’s. Honestly hands down the best meal I've had in the longest time. The food was amazing, the place is beautiful, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff are kind, welcoming and most helpful. Could not ask for anything more!! We loved it so much we have booked again to go back tomorrow!!! EDIT- We.went back again today. We were greated like family. We all went with pizza this time, absolutely amazing! Crispy, light and full of flavour. The kitchen staff blow each meal they make out of the water!!! Please come to Hampshire! Food was really tasty, great Italian style steak 🥩, booked online for a table of 2 outside on the patio, meet and greet system not idea as had to stand next to eating tables whilst being seen to, tables in the patio area are very close together, felt a little bit squished in. Funky little Italian in the heart of Cardigan. Waitor & Waitress weren’t sure on a few items on the menu. Food was tasty, Bruchetta was really nice and the pasta and Meatball soup too!

Just happen to walk in to this restaurant without a reservation. The staff kindly found us a table. Our server greeted and took our order pretty quickly. Even more quickly, our dishes and beer came to us. Very good Tuscan chicken dish and Italian beers! All around a very good spot, plus so charming! Highly recommend coming here in Cardigan.

We were hungry and on the look out for some nice food, when we stumbled across this lovely place. We had the bruschetta (with amazing gluten free bread) and the tasty olives. For the main course I had the vegan three cheese gluten free pizza and my partner the margharita pizza. The food was so delicious! Which is awesome but not the highlight. The waitresses were awesome, lovely and forthcoming. We had a blast!!! Go there and enjoy some great food vegan, gluten free or just regular there is something for eveyone.

After slight mix up with bookings, Karen and the team went out of their way to accommodate us this evening. It was extremely worth it as their service was wonderful and each dish was delicious! Would highly recommend Mannucci’s!

We were greeted on arrival and had our table upstairs. Lovely atmosphere, decorated to resemble outdoors at an Italian trattoria. Service was good, staff extremely friendly. Food was good and priced competitively. Would recommend and would go there again.

A truly lovely place to eat with excellent food, the only downside to our visit was 2 large tables which were obnoxiously loud ruining the quiet dating experience for us and other couples. Our server was lovely, funny and very knowledgeable in regards to the food and drink available, a true professional.

Been wanting to visit since they opened and I think it’s safe to say it’s the best place to eat in Cardigan. Everything tasted delicious and you could tell it was all made fresh. Very generous portions, great service from all. Even in this hot sticky weather the staff were always on the move and smiling…couldn’t do enough for us. Looking forward to returning

We had our honeymoon in Sorrento and Mannuccis is the first Italian restaurant we’ve found in the UK that transported us back to those happy days! OMG! The food, the service, the decor, the atmosphere… spot on! Everything was just perfect! Can’t recommend this amazing little gem highly enough!

We booked last minute on Wednesday evening. When we arrived we were greeted warmly. We were advised that there was a large party inside and seated outside, more than happy as we could watch the chefs! I do not normally go for a starter but this time i had Bruschetta hubby had Focaccia and oil. Both were delightful, the focaccia so was so so light. the little bubbles of balsamic were amazing, bruschetta is normally quite small, this was a bery good size! Main course risotto for hubby, gnocci for me, oh my goodness the portions were huge and and again- delicious! Pudding we did want to share tirimasso but this had sold out so we shared profiteroles again delicious!!! There was no delay despite there being a large party, the staff were super friendly. the kitchen seemed super organised. I cannot praise this place highly enough!! Next time we are in cardigan we will definitely be visiting.

I visited last weekend and what a treat! The service was superb, food and presentation impeccable. Loved the decor too! It was great to find gluten free and vegan options. I can't wait to go back when I'm back in Cardigan. I thoroughly recommend a meal at Mannucci's!

My wife Angela and I went to Mannucci's this Wednesday lunch time this lunch time and tonight because the experiance and food and service IS second to non Kirsty, Lyndsey and all the other staff were so accommodating, friendly and courteous and the food was devine. Truely the best Italian in the UK we have been to so totally amazing restaurant in Cardigan Cymru (Wales) you must go there, you will love it thanks you so much Lyndsey 😊

Wow! Well what can I say... absolutely fantastic experience and food on Saturday night! From the short notice booking and all the staff trying their utmost to get us in to having a great meal! I would like to thank every staff member so much for the welcoming and warm and friendly approach down to how polite and funny you all are!
