Exceptional staff, beautiful hotel and stunning location. We first visited the Falcondale in May 2023, I was looking for a dog friendly hotel in close proximity to a wedding venue (a private house) we wanted to view. What was meant to be a simple place to rest our head very quickly became our dream wedding location. We had never stayed anywhere else where the staff were so friendly and where ‘dog friendly’ means so much more than simply allowing dogs to stay. Up to and including our wedding we stayed 4 times and every time was consistently excellent. Our wedding was amazing, everything we dreamt of. We mostly recently stayed over NYE and that was just as fantastic. The food for the NYE gala dinner in particular was excellent. We cannot thank Hannah, Matthew and the rest of the team enough, you always go above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Our dog is absolutely spoilt rotten with dog dinners and lots of attention, Matthew personally ensures Oreos dietary requirements are met and that his food is served timely :D The new owners are very friendly and take the time to introduce themselves and show genuine interest. Thank you to everyone at the Falcondale, we cannot wait to return. Kelly, Anthony and Oreo

I had the pleasure of staying here earlier this month and getting engaged. The staff were very accommodating and helped set everything up with my partner. We now have a special memory of our time here. ❤️

Great pet friendly hotel with dog walks throughout the grounds, comfortable room and great service from Hannah and the staff. Excellent breakfast and evening meal menu. Visited for a short break and the Falcondale is a very convenient central base to visit attractions in west wales.

Afternoon tea. Pleasant staff but mediocre experience. Waited over 15 minutes to be seen in reception. Pleasant waitress but facial piercings not in keeping with a classic hotel. Afternoon tea included tuna, cheese/chutney, ham and mustard mayo, duck/hoi sin roll, scones with jam and cream along with various small cakes. Quite pleasant. It would have been nice to be offered more tea and coffee. Nice setting. Not bad, but I wouldn't return.

What a fantastic venue for a wedding celebration, the location was perfect and the staff could not be more helpful. I would highly recommend the Falcondale Hotel.

I organised our Running Club Awards night here and I really can not fault the service that was offered. From the day I spoke to the venue to book the event, to the time we checked out of our hotel room. The venue as well as the rooms were spotless. The service was fast and effective during the event, the food was fantastic with plenty of it. Nothing was any trouble for the staff, they were very accommodating and they did their very best to make it an event to remember. When we came down to have our breakfast I could honestly say that you would never know we had an event there the previous night. The place was immaculate. Can not thank the staff enough. Would highly recommend.

We came here for afternoon tea in 2022 and it was fantastic. Came again in 2023 and the standard has dropped. Not sure if they have a new chef, but the experience was disappointing and unfortunately we won't be returning.

I live locally and love coming for coffee with friends. I have recommended it to other friends who have stayed here when visiting me. All have raved about the accommodation and service. I always bring visiting friends for lunch or afternoon tea. Never had a criticism. I have my two dogs with me who are well behaved and welcomed with water bowls and treats, and we sit in the lovely garden room overlooking the front of the hotel. Lovely views of the surrounding hills. I’m totally gutted they are selling the hotel. What a huge disappointment as there is nowhere else like it here.

A gem nestled in beautiful grounds surrounded by fields and woodland. We love to come here with family, friends and as a couple; for afternoon tea, evening drinks, dinner, and recently we stayed overnight after a delicious meal and enjoyed the whole experience. It’s such a lovely place to relax. We enjoyed eating in the conservatory. We had a beautiful room overlooking the front lawn and fields, such a comfortable bed! Lovely cooked breakfast. The staff were all great; attentive and professional but relaxed. The owner is really wonderful and welcoming. I love this beautiful old country house, it’s a really special place. Look forward to our next visit.

I went for afternoon tea, with friends. We had a delicious tea, three choices of sandwiches, a huge scone with jam and cream plus cakes... we all took things home. The only niggle was the way a young man maybe the bar manager spoke to a worker. He may not have been happy with that person's work or lack of, but don't do it in earshot and view of guests.

We visited Little Italy whilst on a weekend trip to Aberystwyth. The food was delicious, particularly the steak with garlic sauce! Atmosphere was nice, with every table filled, however not too loud or overcrowded. The service on the food was quite slow, with the main meals taking 1hr 10mins to arrive, however as mentioned it was very busy, so understandable. The service staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for a lovely meal!
