Amazing food every time we have been. Local seasonal produce. Better food than some Michelin star restaurants. Friendly staff and great service

I’ve travelled the world and eaten ice cream everywhere. Lived in Paris. Regular visitor to Italy. Grew up in Glasgow eating the stuff all the time - in cafés, in restaurants, out of vans in the street with raspberry sauce. Spent a month in the USA making a film about the rivalry between Haägen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s. Consumed tons of their products on that trip. Attended a seminar in Philadelphia with Arun Kilara, the most famous correspondence course ice cream making instructor - a Professor, no less - in America. I understand ice cream on a granular, scientific level, and on an emotional one. And no ice cream anywhere in the world (I’m looking at you, Luca’s) comes even close to the magical stuff you get at Cones & Candies.

There are two main places in Biggar to take out fish and chips. One is absolutely terrible with poor quality food and equally bad service and there is this one. First time I have been into it and I will be back. The kitchen is absolutely spotless and the food cooked to order. There was plenty of it and the quality was excellent. Just proves you can get decent fish and chips in the local area. We’ll do to the owners and the staff. A great visit.

Best gluten free burger I’ve had in years. Staff very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend and will certainly order again.

Came here with friends for a catch up to try it out as it has only just opened, and wow it was amazing eveything was so fresh and service was top notch. Speacil mention to the cheese pull on the mozzarella fritta it was unreal. Definitely be back😊

Great food staff wonderful changed menu to suit my grandson would highliy recomend them food and service 100% . Well done to Ian and Ann-Marie who have worked so hard this venture was well deserved. Good luck in all you both do. Xx

On a vistit from Canada to family in Blantyre. We visited the Cafe twice . Serves great fresh food, home baking, great staff and service with a smile, well priced. Would recommend reservations as very popular.

New Takeaway, thought I would give it a try. Great selection of Pasta and Pizza. Ordered the Amatriciana Pasta, added mushrooms with a side of fries and a garlic bread. Friendly staff on the phone, order quickly taken and advised when it would be delivered. The food arrived early, was piping hot and was really fabulous. Excellent flavours, generous portions , to much for one person, was nibbling Garlic Bread all evening. Really good value for money. Worth giving a try, I will be ordering again soon.

After a long time had a great place of Pasta and Pizza. You can also order half pizza and Pasta of your choice. Recommend to any pasta and pizza lovers.

Esta es la segunda vez que pedimos a Golden Kitchen y, de nuevo, no nos decepcionó. Pedí 3 x menú fijo para uno (que tiene una fantástica relación calidad-precio) y medio pato crujiente. El tamaño de las porciones era excelente, tanto que nos sobró suficiente para el día siguiente. Nuestra comida estaba lista para ser recolectada solo 20 minutos después de que hicimos el pedido por teléfono. No puedo alabar lo suficiente a estos chicos; sin duda la mejor comida para llevar chino en Uddingston.
