There are two main places in Biggar to take out fish and chips. One is absolutely terrible with poor quality food and equally bad service and there is this one. First time I have been into it and I will be back. The kitchen is absolutely spotless and the food cooked to order. There was plenty of it and the quality was excellent. Just proves you can get decent fish and chips in the local area. We’ll do to the owners and the staff. A great visit.

Fantastic. Food was just amazing. A right wee hidden gem of a place. Well worth a detour to visit. Huge portions. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Wow - a great treat. An entirely new experience with a fascinating choice of new foods to try. My eleven year old grandchild said it was delicious and incredible. He even got the hang of chopsticks for the first time. This restaurant is great addition to the local culinary scene. Definitely worth a visit and we will come back.

“Too much information Salt! We had a good dinner, enjoyed the food, especially the new ramen dishes! Food and drink was pretty quick to come and we were having a nice time. Unfortunately, one of the servers, who had been friendly, decided to share his extreme political views with us at the end of the meal and it was so awkward and perplexing, that it completely killed our vibe. We’re all for freedom of speech but there’s a time and a place. I doubt the management of Salt would want us to associate their restaurant with fascism? Have a word guys. The experience means I’m going to second guess any future trips to Salt even though we enjoyed the food a lot.
