A France meets Ayr night at The Bistro-gorgeous cocktails;interesting menu- onion soup,duck,bourguignon and fish were beautifully cooked; service was,as always,immaculate. Thanks to the whole team for a really lovely evening- looking forward to the next one.

What a brilliant vegan cafe, the food and drinks were delicious. We travelled down from Falkirk to try out and were very impressed. Will definitely be back. Everything about the cafe was simply spot on. Loved it.

The café has a really warm and welcoming environment. The staff leave you to it but are very friendly and personable if you need any help. My boyfriend and I went here for just a couple of hours whilst we were on our holiday but we wish we could go more often as it was such a lovely place - it felt like they had their own little community. Big thanks to the staff and we hope that your business is thriving. We also managed to pick up a great game - Wildlands - which we had great fun playing that evening (would recommend).

Stopped for a quick breakfast at this bright and charming cafe. Good coffee, cooked breakfast and service.

Toilet in an unacceptable state, servicer disinterested and food expensive.Not good value for money. I will not be back.

Je n'ai jamais été déçue par un gâteau de cette pâtisserie. Par contre les Bredle, chocolats etc. gagneraient à être un peu moins chers pour me faire acheter autre chose que juste les gâteaux, qui eux sont pour la qualité à un prix normal. Sans doute la meilleure pâtisserie de BARR.

We’re down in Ayr on holiday from Perth and decided to try Tempura and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing, everything was packed with flavour and served in generous portions. The staff were brilliant too :) really friendly and made us feel right at home and particularly great with the kids. Even though we’re not local, we’d honestly make the trip back just to eat here again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Five of us went for a birthday meal today.We just love the place the staff are so friendly and helpful.The atmosphere and food never ever miss the mark,it is the best pizza in town by far.I highly recommend a visit

The Old Racecourse has no rooms

We thought we would give the westerly a try and see how it was. Both decided to dress up and make a date out of it, and I'm glad we did! The restaurant itself is attractive and has a good atmosphere. Staff (students) were brill and absolutely did their best. Our waiter was Adam and it was his first day, he was so sweet! The food was incredible. Far better than we expected, and if in any non training restaurant, could easily have been triple the price. Will definitely be back

Was there yesterday for my friends wedding, had a lovely seperate room for dinner. The food was lovely 😋

Nice little cosy spot with a good selection on the menu and most importantly the food was great.
