The food is delicious, staff are friendly. Price is outstanding. It's our new go-to rather than the big chain we used to buy from. I think this cafe is better quality too, I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Just got a fish supper 30min ago its the worst batter every, just put it in bin, cold!!!!!chewie !!!!!!! Sorry the same with the fritter, nope definitely not be back if far to expensive to throw away into bin, so sorry not for me, not be back. Will i recommend it, def not!!!!!!!! 😱😢

Took my daughter here for a quick burger after a day out. Supposedly didn't have any kids cranberry juice that was on the menu (or in fact any other of the kids drinks, orange juice, apple juice or fruit shoots), but had the adult orange juice (a glass of from concentrate orange juice) for £4.45. Served up chips with no condiments, and then looked extremely put out when I asked for some ketchup. A thimble sized portion then appeared. Been wanting to try this place for a while, but definitely won't be back. Doesn't matter about the quality of the food if the service leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Extremely generous portions…drinks as well. great menu , everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty! Also catered so well for the kids. A relaxed atmosphere for them. Really impressed

Coffee machine broken at home so went for some takeaway coffees. My cappuccino was like extremely diluted hot chocolate-all I could taste was chocolate dusting on some hot water and the espressos were worse than Nescafé. Couldn’t drink them. The flies were swarming around the uncovered cakes so I decided to stick to the diet.

Popped in for a takeaway for two, chilli chicken Korma was absolutely delicious, creamy with just the right amount of chilli kick, chicken Karahi was also amazing. We will definitely be back and will probably sit in on our next visit.

We actually visited mcchristies restaurant at the Portland arms. 4 adults 2 children and food was amazing all for a great price. Will definitely be back

good pub, decent atmostphere and excellent service, we were well looked after.. will return for sure 0% (non alcohol) Guinness available as well as 0% Heineken and 0% Kopparberg which is good. Tennents looks like a good pint too Great location for an away day to Killie as pub is across the road from the train station

I love this place. The food is always excellent. However, it does seem to be closed quite a lot.
