What an absolute gem! We went for lunch today. I had a panini and hubby had a toastie (with a cup of soup). Followed by the most delicious Victoria sponge and carrot cake with delicious coffee. The first thing to say is that the quality of the food and coffee is superb - it really is. Service was “just right”. It’s clear that the focus for lunch is on serving homemade soup, paninis, toasties, sandwiches and open sandwiches along with delicious homemade cakes. The choice of fillings is huge (something for everyone!) We will DEFO be back!

Located away from the town center of Kilmarnock, this is a little corner shop cafe that you are sure of a warm welcome and a great cup of coffee. Was in the area with work and was feeling peckish, so stopped by for a coffee and a bacon roll, which were both freshly prepared in no time. Staff are really friendly and prices are excellent. Will most certainly be back again in future.

Visited Central Park today, to take part in a charity event organised by the owner. A great family Easter event which helped raise funds for Ayrshire Cancer Support. Absolutely cracking day and all staff were lovely with my young family. We had some time before the event to have some lunch and it was superb. Would thourougly recommend this Cafe to anyone visiting or local! Nice to see a local business taking an intrest in bringing the community together. Also the Cafe provided free drinks and chocolate to all the children who attended the event, very generous.

Today, I witnessed one of the most brazen acts of unprofessionalism I have ever seen. Whilst in this cafe today, two women, along with their four kids, were told to leave before even placing an order because one of the women refused to apologise to the owners for a negative review she had written on a review site. They were confronted by a member of staff after they had sat down, in full view of everybody else in the cafe. It was humiliating for everybody involved made even worse by the fact there were children in the party. One of the worst examples of customer service I have ever seen and, if it was because of a bad review, the owners do not appear to want to take any constructive criticism on board.A fairly surreal experience, not something you expect to see in that environment at all.

Sat down and was approached by a member of staff who informed us that she would not take our order until I apologised for my previous Trip Advisor Review. I didn’t and so was asked to leave with my friend and 4 children in front of the whole cafe. I was even approached by concerned customers at the cafe and in the park afterwards. Completely unacceptable behaviour.

We have visited 3 times and two of those times coffee was horrible. We ordered wet soya latte and black coffee. Waitress baheved as if we are causing trouble by asking for a wet latte, explained that milk froths and she can’t get rid of it(the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life). We paid hoping that at least it will be tasty but it was so hot as if we were planning to drink it tomorrow, tasted sour and bitter as if the coffee machine has not been properly cleansed. A big no no for coffee lovers. So back at the usual coffee press which never fails to provide highest quality customer service plus brilliant fresh tasty coffee.

Very reasonably priced too. We take our 9 month old with us who eats from the childrens menu. There are highchairs and a selection of toys for children to amuse themselves with. Dog friendly aswell and offer water for dogs as well as outdoor seating for when the weather is nice

Had the pleasure today of joing the Central Park Easter Egg Hunt around the Howard Park. This was a great venture by a local business and the turn out of around 60 kids was great to see. Having found all twenty bunnies we made our way back to the shop and each kid got a drink, Easter Egg and medal...nice touch!! As it was as busy we didn't stay for food as we'd planned but I bought a delicious Carmel latte to takeaway....possibly one of the nicest coffees I have tasted! Whilst in I got to see the menu, drool over the lovely looking homemade cakes and speak to the owner who seemed like a really decent guy. We'll definitely be heading over from London Road shortly to try it out properly. I just hope the "grilled goats cheese and chill jam" paninis are still on the specials menu that day!

Visited here maybe a year ago (certainly no more than that). Staff were pleasant, decor clean and fresh. Door always open though so it got chilly. The menu was too small in my opinion, there was very little to choose from, I settled for a grilled cheese sandwich and a coffee. I was there to just chat with company, as is typical in coffee shops. Prices on the high end of reasonable. A few minutes after receiving my order though, I was talking away about something in particular and one staff member walked over and interrupted us to ask why I hadn't eaten my sandwich. I'm sure this was meant with the best intentions but given that I was mid discussion, and I don't like molten cheese that's hotter than lava scalding my mouth, and there was not a single bite taken out of my sandwich yet as a result, it's pretty safe to say I hadn't touched it yet just because I hadn't gotten round to it yet, not because it was a bad sandwich. I found the interruption rude, and I felt under a lot of pressure to hurry up and get out, I was being watched the rest of our time in there. Shame since this place has so much potential. I haven't been back since because this made me feel so uncomfortable. I shouldn't have to explain why I have not yet eaten my sandwich mere minutes after receiving it and it was still too hot to eat.

Came here for a quick bite after doing some of the Burns Trail in Mauchline. With the social distancing in place, there's no sit in and the cafe only serve food from the front door. The menu is very much traditional British foods, so you'll not go wrong if that's what you're after. Even though the staff were only serving through the front door, they're still friendly and welcoming.I got myself a Jaffa Cake and a Latte. The former did indeed taste like a Jaffa Cake (biscuit), although it was a bit too sweet. The latte was decent. Not sure about all the 5 star ratings, but it was decent food and I give it an extra star because the prices here are very keen.
