Superb choice,always being updated with new innovative new flavours. The ice cream is fantastic,really lovely. Nice friendly staff. Well worth the trip to stock up the home freezer.

This is the best ice cream I've ever tasted! As a former Kilmarnock lassie, I go here whenever I come to Kilmarnock. I have tried many different ice creams, but never does it taste as good as it does here! Best ice cream in the world as far as I'm concerned! Delicious!

The best ice-cream money can buy. Probably the best value for money ice-cream. You might think it's a little steep but once you try it you'll know it's definitely worth the price.

5 Stars all the way! Been coming to Varanis since I was a young child. Our family chant was ‘Friday night Forum Night!’ The ice cream is absolutely amazing, particularly the Vanilla. There are loads of flavours to choose from. The staff are always well presented, quick and friendly. The cafe is spotlessly clean which is reassuring. Love the decor, old pictures of the Varani’s from years gone by.

Top notch fresh ice cream. The best in Ayrshire by far!

First visit, I tried the "Crunchie" ice cream, expecting some honeycomb in it. Discovered it was simply a gloopy thick chocolate that didn't even resemble ice cream. Second visit, the staff assured me they had an ice cream which was both gluten free and dairy free, however they could not/would not provide a list of ingredients. Left without buying anything. There will not be a third visit.

This ice-cream was perfect for a hot sunny day. Reasonable prices, plentiful choices and cheerful service. Erin served us and the ice cream was almost as gorgeous as her.

Absolutely delicious range of ice cream that is so hard to make your mind up. The young guy who served me was lovely & if you were not sure about a flavour he would offer you a taste. Parking on street right outside

I went back to Scotland to visit my fiancés family , I’ve never been to Scotland let alone kilmarnock but we came here after eating some meat pies , and everyone was raving about the raspberry sauce. I was hooked ever since ! I wish you guys ship to the states. I can’t wait I go back and eat here again it’s such a fantastic place.

Huge selection of flavours and new flavours often. Tastes lovely. The vanilla is lovely and different to other places. They often have dairy free ice-cream, but sadly none today. :-(

I’ve had ice cream from the forum since I was wee. I’m now nearing pension age. I’ve enjoyed ice cream all over the world but haven’t really experienced anything quite like the Forum. Always friendly service and a wide choice of flavours - a Killie staple

Tasty ice-cream... Pricey but worth a visit

They have obviously changed the recipe for their vanilla ice-cream, it was once the best anywhere now it's more ice than cream, poor quality for the price.

This is another one of our favourite ice cream parlours, varani's ice cream is just amazing, they have so much choice from galaxy, nutella, tutti frutti, low fat ice cream to red kola, fanta lemon or vimto sorbets, etc, which makes it too difficult to decide what you want, so it just means you have to return to try all the rest of them....

Whenever I'm back in Kilmarnock, a visit to the Forum is a must, huge choice of delicious ice cream to suit all tastes, you get nothing close to it south of the border,

All the staff are very welcoming and polite they really do go up and beyond for you the cafe is really clean and tidy plenty room to sit to enjoy your food quick service and wow the Quality of the food is lovely so tasty and all ways comes hot & is grilled not Fry definitely recommended

If you are anywhere near the "Forum" you must stop and treat yourself to a vanilla cone. A Kilmarnock tradition but everyone should taste this amazing ice cream.

So disappointed they had to close recently as the safety measures were at such a high standard and the staff are always amazing. Been getting the chocolate ice cream for years and it just gets better and better! My husband wanted the lotus flavour but they ran out and the boy said he would make him a lotus Sunday with lotus sauce and bits - such great service and my husband said it was amazing! Hope they open back up soon!

I had After eight ice cream. My daughter had Mashmallow delight. Both were lovely. Took a tub of vanilla for my toddler which was eaten very quickly. Highly recommended.
