The best restaurants in Kilmarnock West and Crosshouse East Ayrshire South West Scotland

Just had a fantastic breakfast delivered from here. Food was fresh, warm and quick delivery. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. 10/10

Paid my first visit to Cafe City today and I’ll definitely be back! The coffees were fantastic, the guy working was nice and friendly, not to mention the Red Velvet Cake and Biscoff Millionaire which were to die for! Great wee local cafe that I’ll be going back to when I’m in town.

Good food great staff. Meals snacks baking soup filled rolls and more. Great choice clean and friendly

Reviewing this as someone who got a takeaway (the weather was TERRIBLE when I visited Kilmarnock). My bestest best told me I should try their "Kilmarnock Pie" which has won awards. Oh my god... I could see why. Super delicious gravy and meat, with incredibly flaky crust. I look forward to actually visiting Brownings in person the next time I visit!

Kebab was class, really big portion and was fresh with it’s salad and sauce. The fladenbrot bread was really good too

really delicious ice cream, one thing i don’t like is that you feel a bit rushed while ordering but the staff mean well and they are polite.

A fabulous Christmas meal, with efficient and friendly service. Just what we've come to expect from the Salt and Barrel. It never disappoints. Well done everybody.

I was there with my friends there was 10 altogether was disappointed from start to finish 5 of had to send hour mane meal back because it wasn't warm and then 1 asked for sticky toffee pudding and ended with Christmas pudding with the money you where getting from us you should have made it better

i come here very often with my boyfriend to celebrate valentine’s day, birthdays etc, food is always so delicious and the staff are very kind

Paul & his staff are great - food is excellent - a loss for Glasgow’s Merchant City, a big gain for Kilmarnock 👍👍

Staff very welcoming, friendly and polite. If you have any questions about the menu they are all extremely knowledgeable and confident when explaining the ingredients to you. Fantastic experience and atmosphere will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.
