Lindys tea room in East Ayrshire

Good food great staff. Meals snacks baking soup filled rolls and more. Great choice clean and friendly

I came to Lindy’s tearoom and hansel for breakfast and to see my best friend Kerrie who works there. I think the customer service is excellent. And it’s amazing to see the way the Handel the customer's properly

We had a day trip to Troon to walk the dogs and on the way we passed a place called Hansel used to be Hansel Village but just Hansel now. Lindy’s tea room is in this little village and it serves food from breakfast till late lunch/ afternoon tea. it also sells some crafts and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The Scottish breakfast was amazing. The staff were lovely and although the decor is a bit basic we still really enjoyed our food. We’ll be back for sure. Steak pie was the lunch time hot meal along with the usual cheeseburgers, chips and sandwiches and it all looked lovely and fresh and tasty. This is a small business with a huge heart and I’d recommend if in the area to give them a try and decide for yourself whether or not you’ll go back. We’re really pleased we took the chance and we’ll most certainly be recommending to our friends and family that they do too. 👍😬

Was driving down to Ayr with my wife and was thinking about lunch,we were just approaching Hansel Village and remembered the tea room,we found it ok it is well signed with parking,bright and spacious with plenty of tables,the have a good and varied menu the portions a generous and well presented it is not exspensive we had a pot of tea for two and sandwiches with a side salad and coleslaw and it came to a £8-40p a bargain could not fault it,give it a try if you are passing.

Es muy fácil perderse y que sería una gran pena como Lindy's es un tesoro escondido. Es parte del pueblo Hansel y si sigue las indicaciones a la A77 en el pueblo de Hansel no te lo puedes perder. La entrada de la autopista ha cambiado recientemente así que mantener un mirador por el cartel de Hansel. será bien vale la pena el esfuerzo. En los últimos años Lindy's se ha expandido en un edificio grande, construido espacio luminoso y acogedor. he comido allí varias veces, pero siempre me olvidé de escribir una crítica por lo que pensé que era tiempo para remediar la situación. Como era la hora del almuerzo y necesitábamos un aperitivo decidimos tener un bol de caldo escocés y un rollo. Creo que la sopa de contenida nuestro 5-a-día requisito de hortalizas!!junto con un montón de cebada era delicioso y abundante. El costo para 2 tazones de sopa, 2 rollos y dos vasos de leche era 6,80 libras, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y hay una pequeña tienda de regalos con una amplia variedad de regalos. Si os apetece una escapada por la A77 y se siente hambre recuerda la sala de té de Hansel Lindy en el pueblo.

I have eaten lunch at Lindys on 3 or 4 occasions. It is lovely cafe but not very well known. I had a jacket potato with beans at my last visit - it came with a big side salad and coleslaw and was a good plateful. Great prices and really friendly and attentive staff.

A great little jem , we had breakfast it was served hot , good quality , very nice , just wish I had a square sausage as I prefer them to links but can't complain it was all so good n the staff were brilliant , u made my day. N the cakes looked good . We will be back n it's a lovely clean place thank you
